As I promised in my Natwest bank I am reviewing the Customer Service they offer through their Internet banking system. I am very happy with the services and accounts that they offer and am particularly impressed by their internet banking. I have stopped using Natwest as my main bank about a ...

GO TO THE BANK WHEN IT SUITS YOU

Advantages: Convinient, check your account any time, secure
Disadvantages: None

...If you're a young person NatWest is one of the best banks to go with, unlike all of the other high street banks which require you to be 16 to have a Solo card NatWest give their customers a Solo card from the age of 11. If your not sure what a Solo card please see the various Ciao reviews of it. Basically however it's a debit card that is in many ways like a Switch card, but with a Solo card you can only spend what's in your account…so no getting ...
...Anyway whether you are a NatWest customer or not you can sign up easily for NatWest online banking which according to a recent Which? survey and a study in .net internet magazine is the best online high street bank. And on top of that natwest.com has the thumbs up from me! Lol. ~* How to Apply *~ If you are a non-NatWest customer you must firstly open up an account with them (which can be done online) and then apply for online banking. When you ...

...NatWest, you (obviously) need a NatWest current account – I have a “Card Plus” account which gives users the use of a Solo card (see my other op on this). Then, go to www.natwest.com and click on “Info + Apply” in the top right corner. From this page you need to click on the link to download an application form, which then needs to be filled in and returned to NatWest. They then send you a letter, containing a customer number, which you need to use ...

You can also see a list of all of your current direct debits that you have going in the account – details include: Payee; Reference; Status; Last Payment; and Amount. You can view more details about each direct debit that you have, or cancel it from the site. ...

The webwise way to watch your wad of wonga

Advantages: Secure, easy, comprehensive banking service.
Disadvantages: Only for Natwest account holders

...why. I've been with Natwest a long time now (about 8 years), and for the past 5 years or so have taken advantage of their very slick telephone banking service, Actionline. Then, around 6 months ago, they completely changed Actionline around, and not for the better in my opinion - too complicated. So I started looking at the alternative, at natwest.com. ======= THE SITE ======= It's a well-presented, fairly unpretentious-looking site. Natwest ...

Natwest On-line banking

Advantages: Quick
Disadvantages: None

Natwest provide an excellent On-line banking service to all their customers even those with Step accounts (the most basic account) and it is an extremely easy to use, secure and convenient service. The service is available at www.natwest.com and you just need to enter ...

Online banking service

Advantages: Easy banking
Disadvantages: Slow loading of pages

I have been a Nat West customer since my student days and can't really complain about anything. I guess I am their ideal sort of customer. My salary gets paid in, I spend it via cheques, standing orders and direct debits and on the 1st of every month I get a statement. What more do I need?? Well there have been times when I was unsure how much money I had left in my account, there were times when I wanted to transfer money from my savings account ...
...to set up a standing order or direct debit but never got round to filling in the form or posting it off on time. There was of course the telephone, but I could never remember to ring at the appropriate time, unless it was an emergency (ie I would be charged for going into overdraft) Then came online banking. Your couch potato's dream. I can now check my balance on my accounts, I can transfer money instantly, I can set up new standing orders. No ...

Nat West One Account - the jury is still out.

Advantages: You could pay off your mortgage a lot quicker
Disadvantages: dealing with cretins on the phone..

Nat West One Account is an idea which was started by Virgin - but ended up being taken over by the Royal Bank Of Scotland - now part of the Nat West Group. It's a simple concept: you keep all your eggs in one basket. Your savings, your mortgage, you day to day living expenses are all handled in one account. Confusing? Well, that depends whether you are organised or not. If you hate reading statements, hate seeing that you owe £150,000 every month ...
...each month than you earn, read no further: this account is your worst nightmare. However, heaven awaits those who regularly earn a bit more than they spend, because your surplus could be eating away at your mortgage every month - and you'll be surprised at how quickly it can do it. So, a simplistic explanation: your mortgage is effectively like an overdraft, you are told how much a month you need to have in your account to keep your regular payments ...

So far so good

Advantages: Secure, fast, reliable, easy and a bank
Disadvantages: None

I have been using Natwest's online bank for quite a while now, and I am pleased with what it is so far. It is secure, reliable, helpful and enables you to do a lot with your bank account. As well as being there, you can order new stationary like check books, replacement cards etc. and you can also transfer money from one account to another, all from the comfort of your home. This is very useful. It is a very secure program, as far as i can tell, ...

Natwest Internet Banking

Advantages: Convenient and easy to use
Disadvantages: None

...have been a customer of Natwest for around 13 years and their Internet Banking is great. I have been doing all of my banking through the internet for the last year or so and the account is very easy to set up and doesn't take long, so is quite quick. It is easy to use and transferring money between current accounts and savings/ISAs etc on the same day is very convenient. When transferring between accounts your account is immediately updated, so you ...
...The best thing about Natwest Online Banking is their E-Savings account. You can only open this account if you are signed up to online banking and you can open more than one account (unlike ISAs) which is great if you have something in mind to save for i.e. home, car, wedding etc. The interest rate at the moment is net 3.38% which isn't bad (their Mini Cash ISA pays net rate of 4.65%) and interest is paid monthly, so you don't have to wait a full ...

Online Banking - the way forward

Advantages: So useful - saves you time
Disadvantages: None that i've come across

I've been a Natwest customer for about 6 years but have only recently discovered the advantages of online banking. To register for online banking - go to www.natwest.com, if you are already an existing Natwest customer you simply select sign up for online banking. You will be asked to input some personal details, including your account number and you are given a customer number - this is simply your date of birth DD/MM/YY plus 4 extra random digits. ...
...facility of online banking with Natwest in my opinion, is the capability to pay your bills - storecards, credit cards and utility bills. You simply click on add a new payee and input the details of the bill - for example: click on storecard, then select debenhams and then input your account number. After doing this you can schedule a payment to come out of your account to pay your bill on a specified day. This is extremely easy to use and is very ...
