I Love these Peaches

Advantages: The Taste
Disadvantages: Expensive

...peaches appearing in the supermarkets. Nature's Finest Peach slices in juice (much healthier than syrup AND they peaches taste more natural - the sugary syrup overpowers the delicate flavour)they retain that juicy tang . These peaches are different. They're in plastic screw topped jars, not tins. They contain 1kg "fridge fruit", more importantly when you take the juice out (or so the jar says - I'm too busy eating them to weigh them) there is 610g ...
...tin. The initial complication is that they normally retail for around £1.79 a jar BUT you get what you pay for, quality and whenever I've bought them they have always been on special in either Sainsbury's or Morrisons' at around a £1, so they've been cheaper than two tins. The idea behind them is that you can open a jar and use them gradually, once opened they keep for 7 days (not in my house they don't - they never get the chance) in the fridge. ...

Shake your day up with fridge fruit

Advantages: No mess, no fuss
Disadvantages: Very moreish!

...a busy lifestyle. The Nature's Finest range of 'fridge fruit' can help with all that - because it takes the hassle out of fresh fruit. Each jar contains around 600g of fresh fruit, peeled and ready to eat. It's packed in fresh juice, too, so there's no added sugar to worry about. An unopened jar keeps for weeks in the fridge; once you've opened it you need to eat the contents in a few days. We use the peach slices to make an easy fruit smoothie ...
...===The small print=== Nature's Finest don't use any artificial preservatives, colours or sweeteners. All that's in the jar is peach slices, apple juice (from concentrate), pineapple juice (again, from concentrate) and ascorbic acid. They reckon there's 8 servings in the jar. The net weight is 1 kg - 585 g of fruit and the rest is the juice. Each serving is 125g, containing 78 kcal. You get 0.6g, protein, 18.1g carbohydrate (14.3g of which is sugars), ...

Nature's Finest Peach Slices in Juice

Advantages: sweet taste, good value for money
Disadvantages: have to use them within 7 days of opening

I am actually impressed by this product. No added sugar or preservatives make these peaches healthy, as tinned fruits have so much pointless added sugar to cover up the blandness of the fruit. They are delicious on cereal and deserts, with greek yogurt. The only down side to them is that once opened, you have to eat them within 7 days of opening, which is annoying. On the other hand, if you could keep them for longer, there would be more preservatives, ...
...lid is really handy for the fridge, making them handy to eat anytime. I would recommend this product to health conscious people, and also people that can't get out to buy fresh fruit on a regular basis (e.g. elderly people?) . I think you could call these peaches the next best thing to fruit. ...

good fresh approach

Advantages: they taste fresher and natural
Disadvantages: the cost

These peaches come in a plastic screw top container, they taste much fresher then tinned peaches due to the fact that they are preserved in juices and not syrup like tinned fruit . The juices make them taste more like fresh fruit with the tangyness associated with a fresh product . Also the container with the scre top lid means that you do not have to consume them all at once and can be stored in a fridge without having to put them into another ...
...best part of these peaches is the fact that they do not taste over sweet from syrup and are not sticky . I hope this review helps someone a bit. ok as asked i have more information on these peaches , they cost £1.79 although you can look out for them on offer , they can be bought from tescos, asda and morrisons maybe other supermarkets but i have seen them in those three near me . The container states it holds ikg total weight with 610g of drained ...
