Advantages: Good design Disadvantages: Very bad support
I purchased the Navigon 8110 about a month ago. From the start it wasn't doing what it was supposed to do: navigating. No gps reception, no gps receiver icon on the screen. So, after two days of trying and re-trying I tried to call the support desk. For about 5 times (each time 10 minutes waiting) no luck, the sixth time I called the sales dept. and within 3 seconds the phone was picked up!
The lady promised me to send me the details for sending ... ...I had received a mail from the company, saying "As long as your NAVIGON PRODUCT is more than two weeks old, all we can do, is repair and send back to you." I sent the device back within 3 days!!!
I am still waiting for a reply . . . ...
