Advantages: traffic pack thrown in Disadvantages: slow and erratic to use
The navman f30. I purchased this one month ago to replace a tomtom 0ne that i had stolen. The f30 is basically the f20 with the t1 traffic pack included. The f30 comes complete with windscreen mount and in car charger, however the charger only works off a 12v supply so being a coach driver this meant i had to go out and buy an alternate charger. Up to now the navman seems poor when compared to the tomtom . The address and postcode entry is very slow ... ...street search function, taking a pause after each letter entered. The back on track function for if you take a wrong turn is near useless you have to slow down to a crawl while it sorts itself out. The f30 works well on the major roads but get it in town and it can be a real pain identifying which road it is wanting you to take. The traffic alert system is average, and having to have the aerial plugged in to the system and stuck onto the windscreen ...

having used the navman for a month now i have had no problems with it at all. it is easy to use and has a good size screen. the screen can be had to view in bright light but the voice directions are easy to follow. the f30 comes with traffic updats and speed camera locations. these both work great and has spotted every camera that i have come across. the traffic update works well to avoid traffic and will divert you round these with no input my you it just gets on with it . this is a great buy and i would not be with out it. ...
