Advantages: Screen size, visability, ease of use, accurate routes Disadvantages: Slow to recalculate
To sum up in a sentance - I would buy this again.
I previously had a Garmin product which worked very well, but eventuall gave up on me. This forced the purchase of a new model which must have European mapping. The S90i has that and a few other bits and so far has not sent me to any daft routes. I use the unit most weeks and have also used the traffic master service on it as well.
Look & Feel
The units is quite wide and the large screen is well ... ...has enough configurations for me including colour schemes and night modes. It feels solid and the screen mounting is stable with no vibration - it stays stuck unlike my Garmin one. The screen menus were initially quite slow to respond (annoyingly so), but having updated it via the easy to use desktop sw it is only slow on the first selection after a hard reboot (like disconnecting from the PC). The rest of the time it is fine.
Routing
Well this ...

Advantages: Has a camera, Blutetooth, TMC (when they work) Disadvantages: Very, very slow response time. Many bugs
Don't buy this product. The Navman S90i has many faults/bugs
Camera viewfinder screen goes black for some reason and you can't use it unless you do a hard rest. This seems to be a common fault with this model, as several other users have also reported this.
Very slow response time. Doing a u-turn on a road or even just turning left or right into a road and it takes ages. Sometimes I have to pull over until the screen updates.
The TMC has a very ... ...cover is closed) and see what happens! it takes a picture of nothing (because the lens cover is closed) doh! a bit of a silly bug by Navman. Why doesn't the unit recognise that the lens cover is closed? Also, it is very easy to accidently push this button while handling the unit and it goes into a frenzy of happily taking blank pictures.
Selecting an icon on the touch screen is sometimes very slow, or doesn't even respond, even though there's an ...

Advantages: Lots of features POI's and much much more. Disadvantages: Timings for journeys a bit tight.
Bought this to use in second car and have been really impressed so far. We used it on a month long holiday in Australia and it was a god send around Sydney then Sydney to Melbourne and around then finally in and around Perth and Busselton so glad we took it with us. We have also used it to drive UK to Austria and back and worked really well for that. Otherwise just normal UK usage and so far no problems. The only slight niggle I have with it is that ... ...one I use which is a Nissan (Navteq) built in one. I have come across the usual Sat Nav problems where roads have been altered or not very clear but overall finding it very easy to use. Lots of functions and Bluetooth built in for your phone if needed. Maps have lots of Points on Interest loaded which comes in very useful in areas you don't know at all. I would say that it is probably a bit pricey compared to some others but having used it and being ...
