The Nicky Clarke NCS75 also goes by the name "pro ceramic worldwide straightener" because it has a worldwide voltage, suitable for use in any country. I personally tested it out, and it worked fine in the middle of Asia as well as the middle of London! -PRICE-
It's RRP is £35.00, but my advice is go to Argos, they have it on sale quite often, and to my fury, it once went down to £15, just after I bought it at ammuch higher price. So keep an eye ... ...and turns.
The Nicky Clarck logo is at the "hinge" part of the straightener where it opens ansd closes, and is beared in a circle shape as part of the design.

Advantages: Heats up quickly, straightens even thick hair perfectly, not heavy to hold, great price! Disadvantages: When left on for a while, smells like somethings burning.

They were on offer at argos £20 and they were originally something like £40 so it was a good bargin.
They get to 230 degrees and that really does straighten my hair and my hair is really thick and slightly wavy. The good thing is you can adjust to the temperature you want.
