Made in Kent by a small firm, it really is an excellent bit of kit. Costing £80 odd , it has to be said that it’s quite expensive compared to even the high-end set-top boxes (STBs) for Freeview, the Sony for example. Advantages: Freeview box and hard drive recorder for your PC, all in one package. Disadvantages: Probably the most expensive solution on the market
...over the past year, the Nebula product stood out time and again in tests (the most recent tests I have found are in the October 2006 issue of Computer Shopper). Not only was it the best performer in terms of picture quality, but also offered a lot more options and features than similar products. Despite the fact that it's probably the most expensive card of its type on the market, I eventually succumbed and bought it at a sale price of £74.80 (including ... ...I sent an email to Nebula to confirm the order and got a very friendly email in reply, less than half an hour later. It turns out that a confirmation had been sent out, but there was a problem somewhere. The nice Nebula person (thanks, Alison) confirmed the order and sent the email from two completely different email accounts to ensure delivery. Advantages: excellent price, lots of features, ongoing enhancements to software Disadvantages: roof-mounted aerial usually required
An excellent product.
The features list is endless and there is so much more this product can offer you than other competitors.
If you have a network, everyone on your network can share tv with you.
The installation is very easy to do and you can get the tv card working with your computer in a matter of minutes. The auto-tune facility takes around 30 seconds, compared with over 20 minutes for the same type of search with the wintv nova-t. Digital ... ...left but new software is available every couple of weeks for this card and always offers more functionality.
This is one of the few DTT TV Cards that comes with a remote control, the control works well and you can get it to operate other applications on your computer too (winamp for example).
It is very easy to record tv shows, with an 80gb harddrive, you can store many hours of tv, and play it back when you like. The card also comes with software ...
