for the ps3, you could expect more
Review of Need for Speed Carbon (PS3) by soundasjohn

Advantages: lots of cars
Disadvantages: some rather annoying features

The need for speed series has been going on for a few years now, and after each installment theyve only become better and better racers. after last years "most wanted" which was defiently the peak of the nfs series, nfs carbon has been introduced, featuring faster more intense action from the streets of palmont city, more advanced graphics, storyline, and many more tuning options for your car, makign the best racer in the NFS series yet. Unlike ... Read review

Need for...a decent racing game
Review of Need for Speed Carbon (PS3) by badongism

Advantages: Good storyline, impressive flexibility in customisation mode
Disadvantages: Poor graphics, bit too familiar, irritating controls

Back in the day, Need for Speed was a nondescript arcade racer with no real defining features. It was the Vauxhall Vectra of racers - just sort of...there. Then, shows such as Pimp my Ride came about, EA flung themselves at the customise yo' ride bandwagon and hey presto, we have a new niche in the racing games market. The last few incarnations of Need for Speed have been based around street racing. You buy your car, stick bits in it and on it, ... Read review

Need For Good Speed
Review of Need for Speed Carbon (PS3) by kimberley1986

Advantages: Better graphic's
Disadvantages: Same as before

...same the previous however many Need For Speed games there are out, but it does have better quality Cars and add ons in the garage for the car. I think the map is better than before as you can see it more better on the game. Good game for all people who likes cars. The graphic's are brilliant as they are in High Definition. Better quality with the Car's and when you make something blow up. The game is good to have if you like the car racing ... Read review

need for speed carbon ps3
Review of Need for Speed Carbon (PS3) by zyndol

Advantages: choice of cars
Disadvantages: the game isn't that great

...great things. I had played need for speed most wanted on my pc to death. I played the ps2 version for about 5mins and turned it off. I later rented it for the ps3 thinking it would be much better, I wasn't much more impressed. As a game on its own its quite good but compared to most wanted it seems poor. The only extras i could tell over most wanted is that you played at night instead of day and you had wingmen that did things like block other ... Read review

Wait for GT5
Review of Need for Speed Carbon (PS3) by Sqwert88

Advantages: More cars, more upgrades, better graphics
Disadvantages: Not enough to differentiate from previous installments

Need for Speed Carbon is very similar to the previous installments in respect of controls, environment and features, it's just been updated a little. There's just a few more cars available a few more upgrades and better graphics. The only actual new feature I can think of is canyon racing. Two drivers race down the side of a mountain you start off behind them and have to stay as close as you can to the driver in front, then the roles are reversed ... Read review

You NEED this game!!
Review of Need for Speed Carbon (PS3) by w15e1

Advantages: AMAZING GRAPHICS!! multiplayer mode is very fun
Disadvantages: can get to easy after a while

...other ps3 game) you will need a HD TV. Because having played on both (HD and normal) there is a massive difference. Now for the review. The previous NFS titles on the ps2 have been amazing. there has been a variety of cars and tracks. This instalment is no different. NFSC for the ps3 has some new features. the main one being the fact that you can now create your own crew that you can use during races. for example you can get a crew member to ... Read review
