When my little boy was teething my husband went to purchase some ashton and parsons for him as it had been so effective with my other children but boots did not have any in stock and this was suggested to him for an alternative. This product is an all natural alternative to other teething products it is a white powder that dissolves on baby's tongue helping relax them and take away any pain they may be experiencing from teething. The sachet and applying In the box there were 24 little sachets of this powder they come in 4 rows of 6 packets which you need to detach from each other to use. I ... more

Teething, well it can be a complete nightmare. Revisiting sleepless nights to calm down and soothe the teething pain of your little one. The horrible nappies, the red cheeks and your poor fingers with their newly developed teeth marks in! Ahhhh, now on the second time of conquering this I picked up a product to ease the teething pain that I didn't even consider first time round. The Packet and important information Last time I swore by the teething gels such as Bonjela and Calgel and nearlly lost my fingers. This time round, my little one didn't like the taste of the Calgel it just made her ... more

Advantages Advantages Seems to take the pain away

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None. Yet.

Our little one is cute, adorable, lovely... and teething. So far he has two lower and one upper tooth, with another one coming. This means the poor boy wakes up several times a night, crying. WHAT IS "TEETHING"? For the infantly challenged, teething is when the first teeth grow - they cut through the gums which is uncomfortable and painful to the little chap/chapette, who cannot tell you what is happening, so they cry. This usually happens at night - that is when the teeth seem to grow the most (perhaps because the chap/chapette is horizontal so gravity can assist). REGULAR REMEDIES Most ... more

----------------NELSONS TEETHA - TEETHING CRYSTALS------------- ---TEETHING--- It's that dreaded time for you and your baby. Sleepless nights, drooling babies and lots and lots of tried and tested products to make this time easier for you, but most of all your baby. Babies usually start teething around the age of 4 months. Symptoms are usually flushed cheeks, high temperature, crying, dribbling and the likely to bite toys and mummy/daddy's fingers!! I had been through the teething experience not to long ago with my first born, and before I came across Nelsons Teetha I had tried the usual ... more

Advantages Advantages Natural remedy which seems to calm baby

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can seem expensive at first but well worth it

For those who don't read my reviews often I have two daughters who have just turned 1 and 4. For my eldest daughter I used teething granules (the boots own make as they were slightly cheaper!) and this time around after giving my daughter Calpol and her STILL waking up crying I went to Boots to buy some granules! -- Packaging -- The granules are neatly packaged in a green and white cardboard box saying Nelsons Teetha Teething Granules, with a picture of a baby chewing a towel (it looks like). It states on the front that they are teething pain relief and they soothe and calm. On the back of the ... more

Nelsons Teetha When Jack was teething I have to admit to trying everything and everything to easy his pain and discomfort. This of course trying a lot of dud items and wasting a lot of money on items that didn't really work for us. However this is one product that I will actually say was a good purchase of mine (there don’t seem to be that many). I heard of these from my book by Jo Frost (supernanny) on baby care and she stated that these were the only teething item that she found really worked and as usual that lady was right! The Nelson's Teetha is basically a homoeopathic remedy for easy ... more

Teething is no fun for little ones and it's something my son is experiencing now. At night time I like to give him the gel based teething porducts as I find these easier to put on at night when he is calm and relaxed and it's become a bit of a ritual in the last couple of weeks/months to apply this before bedtime. However, during the day I like to give him something a bit more natural and without as much sugar and so I use these teething granules. I had heard about teething granules from various other mums who all swore by them and so I decided to give them a try as even though I'm not an ... more

My daughter, now 14 months, had her first tooth at 16 weeks and had 8 by the time she was 7 months! Those few months she seemed to be permanently teething but I was loathed to keep giving her paracetamol and teething gel as she seemed so little. I also was never sure that it was teething that was responsible for this grouchy crying little thing, it was so hard to judge-was it teething or was she just tired? We had several difficult nights when I was up rocking her because of the pain-paracetamol only seemed to last a few hours. When a friend with an older baby recommended teetha I had never ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages slighlty expensive for the amount you get

When my son started teething i was recommended Ashton and parson powders aswell as teething gel. I started giving him them although i found it didnt do anything at all and it was very difficult to administer. I went into Boots and asked them about anything else i could try and he gave Nelsons Teetha granuals. I was a bit aprihensive as he said it was power again i thought it was going to be a nightmare to give Aaron (my son). I was pleasantly surprised with the difference between the two though. First of all Nelsons Teetha is a homoeopathic medicine for the relief of the symptoms of teething ... more

Advantages Advantages works within 5 minutes

Disadvantages Disadvantages price and sometimes sachets get wet

I was recommended these by our health visitor as little one started teething at 9 weeks and is too young for calgel, bonjela etc. I was a bit wary at first as the dosage instructions say pour contents of one sachet into babys mouth. i wasn't sure how he would react and whether he would choke. There was no need to worry the garnules are tiny and I put them on his tongue so he swallows them slowly when we had our next cry i poured them in and he was calmed in about 5-10 minutes and the effects last a long time. In my opinion no parent with a teething baby should be without these. They can be ... more
