I chose this monitor mainly for the USB port on the front which means I no longer have to reach around the back of my PC to plug in my memory stick or phone.
The display is bright and easily adjustable to suit your needs which you can switch quickly through several preset modes, including text and gaming. The M17 series also features an eye saver mode, which dims the screen every hour (or at an interval you choose) reminding you to take a break ... ...is superb, handling 3d games and office documents with ease and at a large 1280x1024 resolution, gives you pleanty of space to work with. Only thing that disappointed was the lack of any supplied manual, but then it's so easy to use and setup you really don't need it. ...
