    Whilst I’m not an enormous drinker of coffee, I get cravings from time to time, especially when socialising with friends who are big coffee consumers. I DO love the smell of coffee brewing and find coffee shops wonderfully sociable places – I’m quite happy to just tag along and have a cold drink, absorbing all those wonderful smells and sounds around me. I’m more likely to have an Espresso when I’m on holiday or when I’ve just had a formal dinner. At other times, I’ll have a more sociable coffee – something like a latter or a macchiato.     NESCAFE ESPRESSO COFFEE INTRODUCTION I am something of a coffee addict; and when I have my coffee I love it strong and black. I work 14 hour shifts and during such night shifts I am constantly knocking back coffee in an attempt to help stay awake. Oh but this is SO bad for me, ‘they’ tell me that caffeine is a stimulant. Erm yes that’s why I drink it, but ‘they also tell me that it will disturb my sleeping pattern – unfortunately a sleeping pattern and my job just don’t go together!!     Rollin’ back the years The year is 1930, the radio (or wireless as I assume it was called back then) was blasting out “Pistol Packin’ Papa by Jimmie Rodgers (surely everyone knows this classic?), the average house price was £590 (hmmmm....     Nescafe Espresso Coffee History of Nescafe Nescafe is a brand of instant coffee made by the company Nestle, who you may be more used to hearing when in relation to chocolate! Founded in 1938 by Max Morgenthaler and Vernon Chapman after 7 years taken to develop the coffee!     I’d never tried an Espresso before I tried this. I suppose I was a bit scared of the ‘short and very strong’ type flavours that surrounds the coffee. I’m someone who likes a creamy coffee, with quite a bit of milk, and I’m a sucker for a cappuccino. But after giving Nescafe Espresso a go, I was pleasantly surprised and will probably be drinking a lot more of Espressos from now on! Nescafe host a wide range of different coffee’s, from their Original to coffees such as Costa Rican and others. Espresso is just one of their ‘Black Jar’ range.     I stumbled upon this product purely by accident while looking for espresso coffee beans or ground to make a delicious drink that I had on an evening partaking of food and drink at an Italian restaurant in a local hotel. I am not a coffee connoisseur, in fact I hardly ever have anymore than 2 cups a day. I do however love my alcoholic coffee fixes and usually tend to stick to Irish or Gaelic Coffee, not so anymore, reason will evolve later.     This is a really quality product and I am hooked! I was previously a lifetime fan of Nescafe instant coffee and always came back to it after trying other brands, but Instant Espresso is even better. It is smooth and rich and I also shake a little powder on the top instead of chocolate. It is not too strong, although I do use 1.5 teasoons of coffee to make it fairly strong. The only downside is that it is not cheap and the 100g jar does not go very far. Hence I was looking to see if there were special offers ... more

    I was a little dubious when I first bought this product. I have experienced Nescafe instant coffees before and found them mostly to taste of Oxo or Bovril. I do drink black coffee generally, and have tried various espresso brands whilst on holiday in Spain - for some strange reason theirs are always better than ours even though they are made by the same companies. I understand that different formulas are used for different countries though. So where did Nestle run away with the idea that we Brits prefer our coffee to taste of gravy browning?     A long day at college or stressed day at office??? Need something to charge you up?? make you feel better and relaxed??? that bit of "yes i am ready for an extra hour of work our two without falling asleep??? well then here is your choice.... nescafe espresso.... the creamy tasty caffeine just gives you the perfect strength you need to push yourself a little further. be it a relaxing day at home or in a coffee shop.. or a stressed out evening or a sleepy morning... all you need is a Nescafe Espresso :-) not to forget the strength you gain for being up all night to complete some pending work of ... more

    As we know, that the taste of coffee is preferred by a person different from others. But the flavor produced by Nescafe Espresso Coffee is very soft, so that makes people who do not like the coffee taste bitter, be at least able to enjoy while drinking it (using a smaller quantity). But if you do not really like coffee, the coffee is still felt bad ^o^. While for a true coffee drinker, Nescafe Espresso Coffee is very fulfilling sense of satisfaction in truly enjoying a glass of black coffee.
