Advantages Advantages Can't really say a bad word about it

Disadvantages Disadvantages All depends on what you want really

Nestle still remain behind Cadbury's when it comes to the confectionary industry, and it is probably the way it is always going to be, but that doesn't mean it has to stop them making products that are more intriguing than some of Cadbury's. I mean, look at Nestle Double Cream, that was an excellent idea for competition for Cadbury's Dairy Milk in my opinion, however I think you're lucky to find it in the shops nowadays. One of Nestle's most successful products is Aero, first introduced to the market back in 1935. As far as gimmicks go, Aero is probably one of the biggest novelty chocolate ... more

Advantages Advantages Bubbles are a novelty

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not very chocolaty, Nestle, Additives

Usually I don't buy Nestle products on moral grounds, and as a general rule, any drink that puts "drink" at the end of what it is, is to be avoided. For example, "orange juice drink" is unlikely to ever have seen an orange. Still, wandering through my local Iceland, this was the only hot chocolate they had and it was cheap. = Taste I usually like my hot chocolate to be really chocolatey so this was a bit of a disappointment. It tastes like if you get regular hot chocolate but only put half a teaspoon of the powder in. I've tried using smaller mugs, and milk instead of water but it still tastes ... more

Advantages Advantages Fairly cheap, nice looking box, bubbly

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not a great chocolate taste, nasty ingredients, difficult to find in shops

I'd seen this advertised on TV quite a few times, and every time I did my big supermarket shop I would always have a look amongst the drinking chocolate/cocoa products but was never able to locate it. I would always ask several assistants at various supermarkets if they stocked it, and each time they would shake their heads and tell me that they didn't. Eventually, I gave up trying and continued to buy my Cadbury's Options. The only reason I wanted to try the Aero Drinking Chocolate is because (apart from good old Cadbury) Nestlé's Aero is the only other chocolate I like. I adore chocolate ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages goes so fast

I had a bar of this last night (along with the wine gums, family sized bag of peanut M&M's and minstrels, strawberry pencils, chewy elephants, a pack of werthers toffees and a bag of rainbow stripes but I won't mention that!). After Dairy Milk this is my favourite chocolate. It comes in two varieties; mint and plain. The mint is by far the tastiest and I go for that one every time. The bar is divided into rectangular chunks and the outer chocolate is brown in colour. When you open up the plastic wrapper you get an overwhelming smell of mint. It's really strong and my mouth starts watering ... more

Advantages Advantages Tastes and smells delicious, on offer.

Disadvantages Disadvantages leave you feeling sick if you have to much

INTRODUCTION I just fancied a big bar of chocolate the other night so when I was out getting in a few bits, this was on offer and couldn’t resist, so it went into the basket. I have always loved the aero chocolate, especially when I was pregnant with my eldest son, mint aero chocolate and lilt was my cravings. The bars of chocolate was always just a bar, standard size but now they have bought the *share bar*. PACKAGING The packaging is quite standard really, the packaging is brown in colour with silver foil inside the packet, the front of the packaging shows the Nestle Aero label, alongside a ... more

Sinking into my lovely delicious bar of Aero, which is so light and rich at the same time. It makes me wonder where this bar started, it's company - Nestle. Where did it all begin? * 1901 - Henri Nestle set-up a sales office in London, in 1901. Nestle opened their first UK factory. * 1905 - Nestle merged with an Anglo-Swiss condensed Milk company. * 1935 - Aero was introduced to the North of England as the 'New Chocolate'! * 1936 - The chocolate had reached New York! * 1982 - Aero Chunky was launched for consumers wanting a snack on the go. Taste Test Opening up the pack , revealing the shiny ... more

Nestle is a confectionary company, which comes from Switzerland. Nestle is known widely around the globe, due to its world-famous chocolate bars etc. Nestle has a huge range of products, including (Nescafe) coffee, beverages, ice creams, frozen food, confectionary, and many more. Personally, Nestle has never been a favourite brand of mine when it comes to chocolate bars and bags of chocolate. I have mainly gone for Cadburys or Mars, Galaxy. However there are some occasions in a girls life when only Nestle will do, and this was the case last Thursday. It was mid afternoon, and time for a little ... more

    Advantages Advantages bubbles, rich, tasty

    Disadvantages Disadvantages nothing

I love chocolate and will pretty much eat any, but I try and opt for ones that are on offer to save a little bit of money. I also try and look for multi-packs as individual bars of chocolate now can be very expensive in comparison. So on a recent trip to my local Tesco express store on the lookout for some chocolate bars to go into mine and my husband's lunch boxes I spotted Nestle Areo bars in multipacks for half price. I had not had an aero bar for a while so thought they would make a nice change. The Areo bars came in a pack of four for just £1.00, these are the flatter bars of Aero as seen ... more

I'm not normally a fan of instant hot chocolate drinks but there is something different about the Aero hot chocolate. Whilst doing the weekly shop recently my other half spotted this hot drink on special offer - £1.50 (good old Asda!). There were two versions available, a normal chocolate one and a minty version. Both claimed that 'the way the bubbles melt on your tongue creates a deliciously smooth hot chocolate sensation - go on indulge yourself.' It sounded too good to be true so we decided to try the normal chocolate one and put a tub in the trolly. Once we got home I put it away and to be ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Only tasty if you add the extra ingredient..

You might be wondering why I marked this product "Poor Quality " and for the taste "Quite nasty" while I have a title that suggests the opposite. I agree with the othe reviews, the product is very bland-tasting when I first tried it but after I stirred in a spoonful of condensed milk, it made all the difference! When I bought this product, I was hoping for a sweet and bubbly experience. I poured the contents into my mug, added hot but not boiling water (EDIT: quite important as Ive tried with boiling and i got big lumps in it which are ew) and saw bubbles frothing as I stirred and I couldnt ... more
