***THE HAND CREAM*** The hand cream is made by Neutrogena and comes in a small tube which is perfect for putting in your bag for on the go. It has a blue screw lid which comes off easily and just simply screws back on. The tube itself is white and contains 50ml of hand cream and has a list of ingredients and contact information on the back. The creams gives immediate and long lasting relief from chapped hands and help’s to heal them. The cream is glycerine-enriched which means it not only relieves and dry or chapped hands but it also protects them too even under the harshest conditions. Hands ... more

I have always suffered with dry skin particularly on my hands, I find that it is worse in the winter and sometimes it gets so dry that my skin will actually crack. Recently I have found that the palms of my hands have been getting really dry along with the creases of my fingers, I would apply hand cream regularly which would smooth and soften the skin for a little while, however I found that it would quickly wear off and my hands would become dry again. I decided that I needed to have a look around for a really good hand cream that would keep my hands smooth, soft and moisturised for long ... more

Advantages Advantages Concentrated product, cheap if your hands are not too dry

Disadvantages Disadvantages Greasy sheen just after application.

I always have extremely dry skin on my hands, not helped by having to wash them so many times after doing things with and for my children. At times, I have even developed contact dermatitis as I cannot avoid getting them wet at times, and this then requires medical intervention. I have avoided this for a few years now though through careful choice of handcreams that actually do what they are supposed to. The current cream of choice is the Neutrogena hand cream that is shown on an advert with a woman building a boat, applying a small amount of the cream and then having lovely smooth hands ... more

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream ConcentratedNorwegian Formula Hand Cream Concentrated is a hand cream manufactured by Neutrogena. The cream is designed to heal sore and dry hands and chapped skin. The tube claims to 'instantly relieve and protect'.I first used this cream a few years ago when I was having trouble with my skin reacting to chemicals in the ink at the printers where I was working at the time. I was sitting at home one evening when my house mate gave me this little 15ml tube of Norwegian Formula and told me to try it and see if it helped. What is it like? The tube itself is ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not the most exciting or luxurious hand cream ever

I went to Iceland last year and realised too late that my tube of hand cream was too big to get through airport security. In the end I left it at home and purchased a mini hand cream tube from Superdrug before I left. I chose this Nutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream specifically because at 15ml it was the smallest available, and I knew I'd be able to fit it in my liquids bag. In any case I only needed it to last for a week. My small tube cost £1.35 (there are also full-size tubes available). This hand cream stands out on the shelf, packaged in a white tube with a blue lid, carrying a ... more

I never used to use moisturises or hand creams until this past winter as it has been especially bittely cold and I have found that my skin has taken badly to this. Luckily I don't have any cracking or red areas of skin on my hands but I have noticed a tenderness on my fingertips and the skin peeling a little in these spots. This becomes especially painful when going from cold to warm so often when travelling so I thought it was about time I started a skin care regime. I've used Neutrogena products before to help with spots and thought it was of a great quality then so I didn't see why it ... more

In my line of work I often shake hands with people and my hands are very much a focus of mine. I like to know that when I am standing in front of people showing off a product that I am showcasing the best skin and nails that I can. This is why I religiously use hand cream both at work and at home and I am always looking for that next wonder product that isn't going to be greasy but is going to dry quickly and leave me with wonderful skin. I find that I suffer with dry skin during the Winter months, like many people, and so hand cream becomes even more important to me now as I need to protect ... more

Working as a healthcare professional, I have to regularly wash my hands and use hand sanitiser. As I am also an eczema sufferer I am very prone to dry skin on my hands. I do have some special prescribed hand creams to use during eczema flare ups, however these are all unfortunately in massive containers and I like to have a little hand cream that I can carry about in my handbag during the day. This Neutrogena hand cream is a concentrated "Norwegian Formula" hand cream. It comes in a 50ml tube with a lid that screws on and off. When you open the lid and give it a small squeeze out comes a white ... more

Neutrogena Hand Cream - Concentrated I do tend to suffer with very dry hands, probably due to the fact I do too much washing up at home and too much handling paper at work! However, I have tried so many different types of hand creams and I seem to be buying one almost ever other week as I go through them at such an alarming rate. This is certainly not the case though when I bought this Neutrogena Norwegian Formula, Concentrated, Hand Cream. I think the price was around the £3 mark and I purchased the tube from Boots. The tube holds 50ml of the hand cream inside and for the amount you get I ... more

I have never been a one for hand creams but my fingers had started to get really sore especially in between my fingers so I thought it was time to buy something for them. I had a look in 99p shop and they had some Neutrogena hand cream in. Seeing as it was only 99p to buy anyway I thought it was worth a try. They had two different ones, one was unscented and the other was just hand cream so I bought the second. The cream comes in a tube which contains 75ml and it says it is a glycerin-enriched formula. The tube says it is for instant relief of dry, chapped hands so I took off my rings and ... more
