According to the Neutrogena website, the product is meant to clear blemishes and prevent future outbreaks. It also is supposed to contain oil-absorbing powders to control shine. It is meant to clear pores and minimise their appearance. In addition, it apparently contains a multi-vitamin complex that helps your skin maintain its healthy look.
Little of this information actually appears on the bottle. The bottle merely states that the product ... ...have to be with another Neutrogena product, other cleansing products will work as well.
The bottle states that you should apply a thin layer only. I usually apply a thin layer over most of my skin and then follow up with a bit more on areas where I have spots.
Some people I know have experienced dryness and irritation with this product, so if this does occur, you should reduce usage to every other day. If that does not help, you should probably ...

I always had crap skin as a teenager. I started using this foundation about years ago and I ve never changed since. I tried alot of foundations to get the colour right as I have fair skin and dont want to go too light (and look like a ghost) or too dark (and have nasty bad tan-like marks). I think the range of colours is quite good as they are quite natural (at least for fair skin) but they blend in with your own tones which makes it look more natural. ... ...skin but I couldnt tell you how they look as I ve never tried them against skin. The consistency of this foundation is very thin, when you first use it you really need to shake it up but it does cover much better than you would think. If you have REALLY bad acne then I honestly couldnt say whether this would work but you would be able to wear it out in the evening and not worry about it making your skin worse. I decided to try Neutrogena Skin Clearing Foundation for the pure and simple reasons that my skin has become very bad (most likely my own fault) and it generally responds rather well to other Neutrogena products.
Putting on the foundation can be a bit of a hassle as the foundation comes in a bottle with no sort of applicator, meaning that you have to be a good judge of how much is going to come out, its a bit like a Ketchup bottle, nothing seems ... ...sudden the whole bottle seems to empty onto your fingers.
Once you´ve managed to get a decent amount its very easy to evenly distribute across your face and if you´ve picked the right colour for your complexion it blends very well, leaving no nasty streaks. Now, choosing the colour can be a bit of a hassle as in the bottle most colours appear to be the same, so do try out the colours, preferably along your jawline as its alot more realistic and ...
