...I decided to try Neutrogena T Gel because I love the normalising shampoo and conditioner, and figured that anything that makes me feel that good when I use it must have an effective stable-mate in this therapeutic shampoo. The only thing that put me off trying it initially was the price, but I got my tesco club card points through and thought I would give it a go. The product comes in two sizes - I have bought the 125ml bottle to date but I may be ... ...the future. I pay about £3.20 for the little bottle and the larger one is about £5.20.
On reading the back of the bottle they do warn you that the active ingredient is coal tar, so if you have any sensitivity to it then you should try something else. I'm not sure how you know if you're sensitive to coal tar without spending lots of time hanging around coal mines, or just trying the product. What’s this? ME, the third Duke Of Winborne - HERE? Writing about a shampoo? WhatEVER was I thinking of? Well, I thought, follically-challenged or not, every other b***** has so why not me? - although I mssed out on the competition to write a shampoo op.

Advantages: A girl needs to be able to flick and swish her hair around without flakes! Disadvantages: Smell is off putting, the price is a bit much for us poor students.

Advantages: Completely cleared up my psoriasis Disadvantages: Leaves your hair quite matted so good conditioner is required as well.
Around new year, I was using Tressemme shampoo and conditioner, and I noticed that my psoriasis was getting really bad, although I didn't put two and two together for a while, blaming the flare-up on the cold weather. I was using my scalp application for about a month, but if anything it was just making it more painful and itchy. It was also getting to be a very embarrassing problem, because it looked like I had very bad dandruff and I wasn't doing ... ...couch cushion at my boyfriend's house, I left a nice sprinkly surprise for the next person... For some time I have been suffering from a dry, itchy and flaky scalp. The problem had recently become a lot worse and I put this down to extra stress at work. A few months ago we noticed that our 2 1/2 year old Son had started to develop a small amount of flaky Skin on the top of his head. Psoriasis has been my constant companion for 20 years. I have tried many products to try and at least reduce its effect. Let me explain what this is and what it means to me.
Psoriasis is a skin condition that results in patches of red scaly skin. What happens is the skin grows quicker than normal, this gives the sufferers skin its unusual appearance. It can strike anywhere on the body, but the majority of sufferers have patches on the knees, elbows ... ...nature of it can upset others nearby. Approximately 10% of the population suffer to varying degrees. Although the precise cause is not yet known, sufferers often have flare ups when they are under stress. It causes the sufferer to have a look similar to dandruff, but with larger scales.

It comes in 2 sizes 125mls and 250 mls.
How to use:
1: wet hair.
2: Apply a liberal amount and massage into the scalp.
3: Leave on for a few minutes then rinse off.
4: Repeat 1-3 again.
Can be used as often as necessary.
If there is no change in 6 weeks consult your doctor.
This shampoo contains cold tar and should not be used by anyone that has an allergy to ... ...as i found that in my local chemist it was £4.99 for the 125ml bottle and £9.99 for the 250ml bottle but when i went to the chemist in the shopping center the 125ml bottle was £3.99 and the 250ml bottle was £7.99.

...come back. Someone recommended Neutrogena T-Gel to me so I thought I’d give it a try.
I bought some at my local Boots which cost me £4.29 for a 125ml bottle. This is quite expensive for a shampoo considering how small the bottle is. But hey, if it works! The packaging claims that it is recommended by dermatologists for chronic Psoriasis (?), Seborrheic Dermatitis and common dandruff. It contains 0.5% coal tar, which could explain its strange smell.
... ...colour and then once the lid is open it’s the smell that hits you. It’s not too overpowering but it’s not a nice fruity smell like other shampoos. The texture is different from other shampoos too. It’s thicker and feels a little bit like jelly!
Anyway, I don’t use much as it lathers up very well and fortunately the smell fades as you start washing. The shampoo rinses off easily but it leaves my hair quite dry so I have to use a good conditioner.

This stuff is pretty grim when you first have a look at it. It is a dark brown in colour, is really thick and does not smell that great. However, if you have bad dandruff it is a great product. The ingredients are as follows (they read like the ingredients of a witch's caldron!): macrogol lauryl ether (4), sodium lauryl ether sulphate, cocodiethanolamide, cocamidopropyl betaine, imidazolidinyl urea, E218, E216, tetrasodium EDTA, citric acid anhydrous, ... ...and propylene glycrol), sodium chloride and purified water. The bottle I am currently using is 250ml in size however I believe it comes in smaller bottles of 100ml. It is a plastic bottle and comes in a cardboard box, so everything can be recycled once you have finished with it. It has a blue lid which is easily resealed once you have finished with it. I find works best if you shower for 5 or 10 minutes and then apply. Once apply leave for up to ...

Neutrogena T gel is a shampoo for use for soothing if you have itchy, flaky scalp, dandruff or any other scalp problems. It was recommended to me when I got psoriasis on my scalp from other shampoos, and prescription medicine was too harsh. It is best used only on recommendation from a doctor as it is a lot harsher than regular anti dandruff brands like head and shoulders.
The bottle says that it controls the symptoms of psoriasis and seborrhea ... ...if other products dont work,

I have used this shampoo on and off for the past five years or so now. I sometimes get an itchy, dry and flaking scalp and this shampoo does do the trick. It says that the shampoo effectively treats scalp psoriasis, dandruff and dry, itching scalp. It works with my hair and after a weeks use, my scalp tends to be back to normal. The shampoo contains coal tar, which some people may be allergic to (though handy for keeping mosquitoes away). Disadvantages ... ...As coal tar has a photosensitising action, it could cause skin irritation in the sun. Before the bottle I have now, I would say that the smell wasnt exactly nice. Now they have a new fragrance in the shampoo. You can still smell the coal tar, but nowhere near as strongly. The shampoo is also expensive, at £6.84 for 250 ml on the boots website. ...
