Advantages Cleanses, hydrates and leaves my face feeling very clean
Disadvantages Lacks that clean medicated scent

I try to stick to a beauty regime on an evening of cleansing, toning and moisturising but first thing in a morning I like to use a quick facial wash as I find it more refreshing and far more convenient. I have long since been a fan of the Clean & Clear face wash but when we were starting to get low on the product I headed up to the top of the road where there is a Superdrug situated and aimed to buy another tube. I have to admit to liking my previous brand of face wash and have had some excellent results from it. Unfortunately when I went to replace it, it was out of stock so I had to pick an alternative. I chose this one as it seemed to be the closest to the previous Neutrogena one I was using and it was also a daily wash. Advantages Easy to use, a little goes a long way and it does remove grease and keep it at bay for a time
Disadvantages Doesn't attack already there spotty problems

I suffer terribly at the age of almost 36 with spots and a not so bright complextion! It drives me nuts and I suffer with greasy skin on my face and really congested and over sized pores that I feel look awful. I do have a decent skin care regime but decided the other day to get a wash that would help me with the above problems and just before I actually went into Boots I popped into Poundland and found it there! Neutrogena Visibly Clear is part of my daily routine. I use this wash morning and night (unless i'm feeling lazy and just use a face wipe.) As a wash, it is brilliant. It comes out in a runny white liquid and I always find that I use too much, the bottle I have at the moment feels like is has a very few exfoliating things in it, i can sometimes feel one of two when I massage the wash into my skin (maybe i just need to shake the bottle though!) Over the past couple of years since i hit my early teens, I've had some major self esteem issues over my skin. from then on I've went crazy buying tons of bottles of toner and face washes, moisturizers and masks, that all claim to help with breakouts and blemishes. BUT..trust me THEY DON'T. I can't even bare to think how much i wasted on skin products, and non of them have worked. I break out quite often and I'm always on the look out for new skin care to try out. Neutrogena is a brand I know and trust so when I picked this up I had high hopes for it and I wasn't disappointed. A 150ml bottle cost me about £3.50 from Boots which I think is pretty reasonable for a drug store face wash. I liked the idea that this was a 2 in 1 product that could be used as a mask and a daily face wash. The packaging is in a fairly basic silver and orange tube with a flip lid. I must be a marketing man's dream, advertise this on telly in the middle of Hollyoaks and I'll buy it!! They are obviously trying to appeal to the blokes too by having Kristin Kreuk from Smallville as their "face" of choice. Seriously though, I am always on the lookout for a good facewash as I am quite prone to oily skin and all that comes with it. I love a face mask although I am never especially convinced that they actually do anything other than bring out more spots. I am very loyal to Neutrogena. I have been using a certain product for about 10 years now, Neutrogena cleansing pads. These were the only cleansing pads that ever worked for my acne. This product does not exist in the UK, it is only available in the USA. I have tried to inquire with Neutrogena about whether they would want to market it over here, but they told me that their distributor Johnson & Johnson does not intend to distribute this product here at this time. I was looking for a reasonably priced facial wash that could cleanse my skin well and get rid of my spots and this one really appealed to me because its one of the cheapest on the market, and it had the benefit of being used as a face mask as well as a facial wash so I was at first impressed by this. I still have problem skin even though I should be way beyond that at my age, partly because I have open pores which block easily. So I'm always trying new 'miracle' cleansers and moisturisers which promise clear skin. Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Wash & Mask is made by Neutrogena so a well known brand.
