    If you have young daughters in the house and are desperate as I was to shut them up then you could do far worse than invest in Sky, or one of the many cable packages that are on offer and get them to watch Nickelodeon. What is the attraction I don’t know but it never fails to shut the up. Peace descends, of course I can’t get to watch the football but everything has its price and it’s worth it if it shuts them up.     Advantages Advantages very watchable, fun competitions, lots of different TV programmes

    Nickelodeon is a kids’ channel, which is presented by two ladies and a man, who all look in their twenties. Monya (moo-nia) and Ulanda (you-land-uh) are both sisters. Monya has short, dark brown hair and Ulanda has shoulder-length ginger hair. NICKELODEON PROGRAMMES SISTER SISTER – a programme about two sixteen year old black identical twins.     Advantages Advantages great kids' TV from 6am to 7pm, mixture of programmes, mostly British, some great 1970s TV too!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Several Paddingtons or Wombles one after the other can be tiresome!!

    My youngest daughter, who is nearly five, was off school ill yesterday. As every parent will know, it is a full-time job keeping a sick child happy, while still looking after the others and getting the housework done. This is where Nick Jnr - the Nickelodeon channel for the younger kids - really comes into its own.     I am a very fortunate person as I have the priveledge of having cable (NTL) and having a whole selection of channels varying from cartoons to comedy to soaps to history, geographical and discovery channels. But I'm not discussing cable am I? I'm going to write an opinion on the childrens channel, 'Nickelodeon' that cable and sky users can watch each day. A few facts~ Nickelodeon changes to the 'paramount' channel at 7pm each weekday and the same at weekends. ( I THINK!!!)     Advantages Advantages some amusing shows, keeps kids quiet

    Nickelodeon is a kids channel available on pay tv. As with the majority of cable channels the programming isn't that varied and there are repeats frequently. For this kids this is great because it keeps them quiet but there always seems to be only a handful of programmes that come on everyday. The channels major prize is Rugrats and without fail it dominates most of the morning schedule. Occasionally there are new episodes and this is the place you'll see them first.     I'm not a kid, so I don't know if my opinion on Nickolodeon counts. But why wasn't there this sort of entertainment when I was? I watch this channel now, its fun, and brilliant. They have a great mix of programs, they have Nick junior another separate channel on sky digital and Nick replay, which basically means if you missed your favourite programme is replayed an hour later. Sometimes the presenters are a bit annoying, and some of the fill ins are really bad, but the general programming is good. On sky digital it plays up to 10pm at night, with programmes for the older child, and big kid ... more

    Nickelodeon - The Number One TV Channel for Kids, or just another satellite channel?     Sabrina the Teenage witch is probably the best program on the channel. The new series is great with one exception. The disapearance of the fantastic Libby. I really miss watching her on the show and would like the program makers to bring her back. Sabrina has the magical powers to do what ever she wants. This is what everyone wants to be able to do at one time or another. Sabrina has two Aunts, Helda and Zelda. They try to help her delelop her magical skills and guide her throuth a tough period in her life (being a teenager!) I would recommend this program to anyone and you can watch it every ... more

    I really like Nickleodeon and ever since we got Sky around 7 years ago, I have been addicted to it. Now that we have digital and there are even more Nickleodeon channels, it is even better! Personally I think that the variety of programs that Nickleodeon shows are excellent. My personal favourites are the typical teenage programs, Sister Sister, Moesha, Kenan and kel and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which I think all provide good, safe TV for teenagers to watch.     Nickelodeon is a channel for all ages but mainly for children. It is on tv from 7am until 7pm. Some of the programmes that are shown on Nickelodeon and a bit about them: RUGRATS......... this programme is about babies that go on little adventures. TOMMY is the baby that isnt scared of anything, his friends look up to him. His mother and father recently had a new baby called Dil and Tommy is really close to him.
