Nickelodeon is transmitted daily between the hours of 06.00hrs and 22.00hrs. And if you miss a program don’t despair or hunt for the video manual as it is repeated one hour later on the companion channel Nick Replay.
The programs are dominated by two shows, Sabrina the Teenage Witch starring the ever young and beautiful Melissa Joan Hart. This program is repeated so many times that even I know the scripts and that’s ... ...are now some new episodes. The show has even had a number of spin offs in the shape of films, which also get a showing.
Rugrats is a favourite with the youngest who sits as quite as a mouse watching the exploits of her heroes Tommy, Chucky, Dill Lill and Phil, Angelica and others. This is another program, which has made the leap to the silver screen, and after watching a couple of episodes I have to say that the scripts are rather good.
Also worthy ...

Nickelodeon is a kids’ channel, which is presented by two ladies and a man, who all look in their twenties. Monya (moo-nia) and Ulanda (you-land-uh) are both sisters. Monya has short, dark brown hair and Ulanda has shoulder-length ginger hair.

RENFORD REJECTS is a sort of comedy that tells stories about a disgraceful football team, who didn’t make it into the school one. Their rivals, the Renford Razors, are very tough in and out of a match. They pick fights with everyone, especially Bruno De Gradi. Bruno’s real name is Barry Grady, but ...

Advantages: great kids' TV from 6am to 7pm, mixture of programmes, mostly British, some great 1970s TV too! Disadvantages: Several Paddingtons or Wombles one after the other can be tiresome!!
...where Nick Jnr - the Nickelodeon channel for the younger kids - really comes into its own. When kids are ill, they often just want to lie down on the settee, maybe wrapped in a blanket and cuddling their favourite toy, while watching television. For parents, there are a few things to consider while selecting suitable television viewing - it has to be age appropriate and suitable. The last thing you want is them to watch a frightening programme or ... ...My older children prefer watching Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network, but some of the programmes are definitely aimed at older kids, so a five year old would get bored or not understand the show. Some cartoons can be rather violent or feature big scary robots or monsters - not always what a poorly child wants to see.
So Nick Jnr is the answer - continuous television from 6am until 7pm, which fits in perfectly with my daughter's waking hours. The programmes ...

A few facts~ Nickelodeon changes to the 'paramount' channel at 7pm each weekday and the same at weekends. ( I THINK!!!) The channel is for children although there are programs that young teenagers watch as well. The programs vary from cartoons to comedy shows.

THE PRESENTERS~ Nickelodeon has many presenters such as 'Moonia' 'Yiolanda' and 'Matt' as well as many others! They are all really great and keep you entertained. Nickelodeon also gets children into the studio to present and record which looks like really good fun!

Advantages: some amusing shows, keeps kids quiet Disadvantages: frequent repeats, not much variety
Nickelodeon is a kids channel available on pay tv. As with the majority of cable channels the programming isn't that varied and there are repeats frequently.
For this kids this is great because it keeps them quiet but there always seems to be only a handful of programmes that come on everyday. The channels major prize is Rugrats and without fail it dominates most of the morning schedule. Occasionally there are new episodes and this is the place ... ...is like this.
KEENAN AND KEL
---------------
These two guys are pretty funny, they are two frineds who constantly get themselves into the most stupid situations. Again it's aimed at kids but the duo are good comedy performers who can't help but raise a smile on the face of an adult.
SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH
--------------------------
This is kind of the kids Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The title really sums up what the show is about. It's a ...

Advantages: Allows me to be a kid all over again Disadvantages: none that I can think of
I'm not a kid, so I don't know if my opinion on Nickolodeon counts.
But why wasn't there this sort of entertainment when I was?
I watch this channel now, its fun, and brilliant.
They have a great mix of programs, they have Nick junior another separate channel on sky digital and Nick replay, which basically means if you missed your favourite programme is replayed an hour later.
Sometimes the presenters are a bit annoying, and some of the fill ... ...On sky digital it plays up to 10pm at night, with programmes for the older child, and big kid like me.
The best programmes on it are Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Sister Sister, Are you afraid of the Dark (scares me sometimes), Alex mack, Moesha, Saved by the Bell and many more.
Earlier in the day they have younger viewer programmes, and a mix of cartoons most modern, like spongebob squarepants, cow and chicken, ed, edd and eddy, rugrats etc.
They ...

Nickelodeon - The Number One TV Channel for Kids, or just another satellite channel?
THE OLD DAYS
When I first heard that my family were getting cable television, I was extremely excited, mainly because of the great things that I had heard about Nickelodeon! That was back in 1996, and I wasn't disappointed when I got my first glance of Nickelodeon!
When you're young - Nickelodeon is fantastic. There's no more waiting until 3.30 PM for CBBC or ... ...that I am growing up, Nickelodeon has lost it's appeal to me. When you're older, you begin to notice the many faults that the channel has. The repeats are now unbearable, unless you're a die hard fan of one of the shows. The presenters aren't up to much lately either. Most must have decided to opt for Nickelodeon as a last resort, after being failed models/actors/pop stars etc. You also begin to notice that the channel only really gives certain shows ...

Sabrina the Teenage witch is probably the best program on the channel. The new series is great with one exception. The disapearance of the fantastic Libby. I really miss watching her on the show and would like the program makers to bring her back.
Sabrina has the magical powers to do what ever she wants. This is what everyone wants to be able to do at one time or another. Sabrina has two Aunts, Helda and Zelda. They try to help her delelop her magical ...

Advantages: large variety of programs Disadvantages: repeats shown often
I really like Nickleodeon and ever since we got Sky around 7 years ago, I have been addicted to it. Now that we have digital and there are even more Nickleodeon channels, it is even better! It also shows a number of shows for pre-school children.
The extra channels that Nickleodeon now has are both excellent as well. Nick Junior shows a range of progrmas for younger kids, such as Babar, Noddy and Pingu, leaving Nickleodeon to play more teen orientated programs. Nick Replay, on the other hand, ...

Nickelodeon is the supposed number one kid’s channel. It also has a web site but it’s not exactly “The Bomb”.
In fact it’s almost a “bummer”.
When you first go to the home page it has loads of stuff plus games and you think, “Wow! There must be a million things I can do.”
The first thing I did when I got to the site was to click games. I thought that there would be a huge list of games and ... ...but to my surprise only one game came up! ONE, ONE I TELL YOU! It was called, “Extreme Gak Meister”. You had to splat two of the presenters Bogey and Rude with what looked like rotten cabbage. Lovely, just lovely. If you clicked on a bee she gave you more stuff to throw. So I clicked and… nothing. Nomore stuff. If you go in further you’ll find some other games. They’re not “brill” either. There’s a ...

What would I do with out this channel, especially now the 6 week holidays are here. My younger children love it. It goes on in the morning and keeps them happy for hours. Whilst I would prefer them to be outside playing, it has it's advantages. They can sit and be quiet for a while whilst I come on here and type this opinion. Advantages: Education, keeps kids occupied for hours and involves them with competitions and quizes Disadvantages: Not every child has it
Nickelodeon comes with every cable, sky or digital television package. Children absolutely love it. From 7am through till 7pm it keeps children occupied all day. Children love Nickelodeon and I think every child should have the chance to watch it from time to time. I think it is also education in the day when Nick JNR is on. This is like for toddlers and very younger children. They have learning programmes on and different cartoons that the children are just beginning to understand.
With Nickelodeon their are also a lot of competitions for the kids to join in and win prizes. They also do watch ...
