Not as sweet as chocolate..

AdvantagesSmells Incredible

DisadvantagesCan dry hair out.

"...as a break away from Nicky Clarke's other products (some of which are truly fantastic). So with my curious streak underway, I decided to try this shampoo to see if it could make my long, fine brunette hair sexier. At first I was impressed. The bottle was of a cylindilic shape that was clear so you could see the contents of it. It was a beautiful thick brown shampoo that could actually be mistaken for melted chocolate. Well done Mr. Clarke! The ..." Read review

I think I'll stick to normal chocolate..

AdvantagesNice smell

DisadvantagesPricey for what it is; Doesn't fulfill promises

"...out, as I generally associate Nicky Clarke products with quality and great results. Unfortunately, Mr. Clarke seems to have missed the mark with this shampoo. The bottle clearly states that it "combines a gourmande aroma blend of chocolate with mandarin and bitter orange, topped with geranium and rose, with extracts of horsechestnut and rosemary". I think cutting down on the language is a target for the next product released by Nicky Clarke. Regardless, ..." Read review

Mmmm chocolate hair!

AdvantagesSmells gorgeous and not too pricey

DisadvantagesCan make a bit of a mess of your shower

"...until I saw this one, Nicky Clarke Colour Therapy 'Sweet Like Chocolate'. There it was, cheaper than the one I was originally going to buy and looking quite alluring in it's see through packaging. Also, the word 'chocolate' in its name got me hooked. When I next got in the shower, I poured out the silky light brown coloured shampoo into my hands and could immediately smell the delicious scent of orange and chocolate. It lathered up well and rinsed ..." Read review

Wish I could buy this in the US

AdvantagesSaves me from stylist's coloring bills

DisadvantagesNone - hmm - maybe hair is a teensy bit redder

"I picked up a bottle of this in Ireland last August. I wash my hair every three days, and I probably use this as my shampoo 75% of the time. I think it's great. I have a few gray hairs - not complaining, I'm over 40 - and I used to pay my hairdresser $60 +$12 tip to color it with some "organic" stuff that lasted six weeks. I haven't had to pay to color my hair since August (i.e. six months ago), and it's not like the mess of home coloring stuff ..." Read review

Fun chocolate times!

AdvantagesLovely smell, adds a nice sheen

DisadvantagesMakes a bit of a mess

"I decided to buy this shampoo because i'm a sucker for packaging, and this caught my eye, with the rich chocolate coloured shampoo glistening in the long bottle shouting "buy me buy me!". I also liked the title and the idea of having chocolate flavoured hair. This shampoo smells utterly divine, like chocolate orange. It doesn't taste like it though so don't try a bit like i did, on the off chance that it might. It lathers quite well, although i ..." Read review

Good reviews that led to a disappointing result

AdvantagesSmells delicious, orange and chocolate!

DisadvantagesDries hair out.

"I read about Nicky Clarke's 'sweet like chocolate' shampoo (and conditioner) in one of the leading womens glossy magazines. It promised to condition and enrich brown hair with extra colour and shine. The shampoo itself looked lovely - all creamy and actually looked like melted chocolate. The smell was divine - bitter oranges and chocolate. It really lived up to its name! However, on applying the shampoo to my hair the first problem was the colour. ..." Read review
