The Nikon L5 is a relatively new camera and at £132.76 looks like a great bargain, in some aspects it is great, but in other performace tests it has let me down.
The overall design of the L5 is great, not to big or too small, so they have got the balance just right, but unfortunately it uses 2xAA batteries and with a 2.5" screen on the back lasts for only about 50-100 shots, noty really what you want when your on holiday and wanting to snap away, ... ...is incredbibly slow and the Nikon really does lack the performance side. The quality of prints I have received from the L5 are OK, slightly grainy and some colours were not that true., which i was amazed at as the camera's specification reads so well. The Nikon L5 also has a a technolocy called face-priority AF, which basically means will automatically focus on the face as a priority and the main focal point when needed. Virtual Reality is the coolest thing there can be, never miss a shot again because it came by to fast . you can get clear photos that you would never get with another large company camera. as a matter of fact I sold my Large company camera on ebay with Pictures Taken with My Nikon L5. AWSOME!!!! ...
