You know your getting a quality product when you hear "Nikon" - they have been in the business for years, and are one of the most trusted companies when it comes to photography. As the name suggests it's only suitable for Nikon cameras. I have the Nikon D80 and it works perfectly with it. One side of the cable inserts to the side of the camera ... ...enough for you (80cms) then Nikon have made available an extension cable. This can be purchased separately for around £45.00 for a length of 3m. In my view this is really expensive as the actual unit is £54.99 !

You can get other much better remotes for half the price, which have the additional autofocus. Really here all you are paying for is the "Nikon" brand name. ...
