Advantages: Awesome game play, good looking tricks and combinations, nice environments and weapons! Disadvantages: No multiplayer
Ninja Gaiden 1 is THE one and only hack 'n slash game. It is the best one I have ever played! You take the role of ninja Ryu Hayabusa, who seeks revenge after his clan is massacred by the Vigor Empire. Taking full advantage of three-dimensional space, advance through the story with only your wits, your ninja skills, and your deadly sword-cutting down opponents in the Vigoor Empire as you attempt to beat the Holy Emperor and reclaim the magic sword ... ...on in the game.
Ninja Gaiden is astonishing. The visual effects had blown me away! There is a high level of detail, as you are fighting against your enemies in a huge variety of environments. The very cool skills and combinations have taken this game to a whole new level of hacking and slashing.
If I must admit there is one minor disadvantage about this game: there is no multiplayer. I always ask myself what it would if you could take on other ...

...in years; its name is Ninja Gaiden. It is on the XBOX, and only on the XBOX as no other console could stand up to the awesome graphics this game possesses. Ninja Gaiden was created purposely for the XBOX, which then you can assume it will have great graphics and probably have great game play also. You are a ninja that dresses in black ninja clothes, so he has the advantage of camouflage from the shadows of corners on the ceilings. You are able to do many things in this game, including doing really cool stunts; this ninja does not need wires. You will be able to run along a wall for so many steps, run up a wall that’s so high, and swing on poles which are really cool. You are also able to buy weapons and items that can increase your ...

Ninja Gaiden is a third person adventure developed by Team Ninja about a young ninja called Ryu Hayabusa who’s out for revenge on the evil henchman Doku who destroyed his village and slaughters the ninjas protecting the evil Dark Dragon Blade. Equipped with his own Dragon Blade, Ryu's journey leads him aboard an airship that is bound for the mysterious Vigoor Empire deep in the heart of Asia . He stows away on this airship and on his arrival his ... ...annoying in the slightest. Team Ninja have really worked to make ambience and the original Japanese music just fits into the game. The fighting sounds realistic. They really complete the game. You can have the voice over in English or Japanese. A great feature of this game is when you stop it; you can pick up from where you left off the last time. So your journey never stops.
The only thing wrong with this game is that it doesn’t have Xbox Live, ...

...did play the previous 2d ninja gaiden games on the snes, but they do have a good reptutation among gamers.
So when i heard team ninja were developing a new game based on the series, i was overjoyed and keen to see what they could accomplish.
As it turns out, they surpassed all my hopes with this game. I'll break the review into several seperate categories to describe just how well they did with this game.
Graphics: Gamers nowadays expect a nice ... ...want from dlc, and team ninja gave us it for free. No premium content.
There are also scoreboards for the game, where you can compete with everyone from the world over by trying to beat scores. There are some dedicated gamers out there though, so it's unlikely you'll actually make an impact. I know i couldn't.
Difficulty:
This one is a double edged sword. Some people will praise it because it offers a challenge. Some will condemn it. I warn you ...

...the usual array of busty ninja girls that you will recognise from Dead or Alive beat em ups. On first go you just marvel at the texturing and quality of the graphics, the light and texturing in this game are very good, then you move your man forward and hes off. Very impressive are the movements like wall running, think Prince of Persia, the running up walls to reach higher places. Even the jumping up thin chambers to reach higher levels. Overall a very acrobatic game. Just be wary ...

Ninja Gaiden is the long awaited update of the classic arcade game and NES slash’em up/platform games by Tecmo. In the nineties the Ninja Gaiden series was extremely popular and amassed a large following. Tecmo has made us wait a long time to be able to get our hands on this, the first proper follow up, although we have seen the games lead character, Ryu Hayabusa in the Dead or Alive beat’em up series. This poses the question “has it been worth the ... ...out of a bad 80s ninja film! Ryu Hayabusa and his clan are the protectors of the dark dragon blade. When it is stolen by the evil doku, Ryu’s village burned to the ground and all of his clan slaughtered, Ryu does the same thing any self respecting ninja would do! Go on vengeance fuelled killing spree. Luckily, myself and most other gamers didn’t buy this for its story line, but for its combat and in this area Ninja Gaiden most certainly doesn’t disappoint! ...

Advantages: great gameplay - stunning graphics - good sound effects - cheap for pre-owned copy Disadvantages: --None--
Ninja Gaiden is essentially a beat em up game that sees you take up the role of Ryu Hayabusa as you slice and dice your way through an evil empire as revenge for the brutal slaughter of your fellow ninja and villagers. Over the course of the game, Ryu fancies a large array of opponents to fight including guards, other ninja, zombies and the usual big boss at the end of a level.
The controls to the game are really easy to pick up - despite the large ... ...mastered to fight properly - Ninja Gaiden requires each individual player to develop their own style of fighting which makes it really unique - there is no set way to win a fight against the opposition so it really is down to the player how well - or how badly they will do and this adds significantly to the overall gameplay that involves various levels that kept me occupied for hours on end - at times frustrated - but most the time completely absorbed ...

This is without a doubt one of those most underrated and unnoticed games of all time in my opinion. The graphics alone stand to be what is a benchmark for all modern games to stand by as well as fluid gameplay and entertaining thrills along the way. I had an absolutly wicked time palying this game through summer two years ago and could not put the controller down since. ...own. The NES smash hit, Ninja Gaiden, became an instant classic back in the day of two button controllers and left gamers crying for more red hot ninja action. While there were a number of sequels on NES, and even the trilogy package on the SNES, none of them quite lived up to the original and Ryu slipped into the shadows for almost a decade. Many videogames have tried to mix gameplay elements in order to provide a revolutionary experience, but most have failed. Ninja ...
