...years (since 1995 actually) and Cerruti 1881 is a high-end luxury Milan based brand of clothing and fragrances by Nino Cerruti who trained Giorgio Armani. Apparently he is also well known for furnishing the film industry, the most renowned film appearance being pretty woman.
With regard to the perfume, it appears that it is available in three sizes, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml but only in a Eau de Toilette rather than a perfume (perfume is more concentrated ... ...scents.
Lesson over! Cerruti 1881 has a very pleasant mix of notes and is described as possessing 'fresh cut flowers and linen with woody undertones' and having 'sparkling flowers and natural essences' alongside sandalwood and musk scents. It took quite a while to find the information as to which notes held what fragrances but after some lengthy perseverance I found something of an answer:

...peachy kind of colour with Cerruti 1881 embossed on it in sliver. The bottle is oval shaped, flat, smooth and frosted glass with a peach marble effect lid. It also has a gold stripe underneath the lid with Cerruti 1881 engraved on it. This perfume looks expensive.
It hardly weighs anything, which makes it good to carry in your handbag and the fact it doesn’t have any sticky out bits is a result to.
The price is reasonable you can get a 50ml ... ...Argos for £13.00 which I find expensive. You can get this perfume also in a 5ml bottle, so that you can carry in your handbag.
This perfume lasts all day and a little goes a long way but it can be quite strong if too much is applied.
You can buy this perfume anywhere i.e. Argos, Boots, Superdrugs and The Perfume Shop. You can also buy gift sets of this fragrance such as the perfume along with a body lotion e.c.t.

Cerruti 1881 is a nice fragrance that is very unique.
GENERAL
I only use it on rare occasions because my boyfriend keeps getting short of breath when I wear it, and I do too if I use it too much, so all of you people who have asthma use very little because it is very strong.
A little goes a long way and a bottle can last ages! Although I prefer Tommy Girl for daytime use, this is an excellent scent for nights out. It lasts all night, therefore ... ...is compact it would fit in your handbag if you wanted to.
PACKAGING
Like a round smooth pebble, the packaging is very attractive. An embossed frosted glass bottle with a peach marble effect looks good on your dressing table or bag. I bought this perfume at an airport duty free recently. Which is practically the only time I ever buy myself a perfume. I had remembered the smell from years ago when my friend used to wear it and having already got Issey M, CK, Jean Paul Gaultier and Poison (the red one) out of my system - though not off my dresser, I decided to try another. Thinking about it I don’t remember seeing any advertising for it, I simply remember liking the smell.
The ... ...on my friend. On her it had a more prominent talky smell, slightly heavier and more suitable for an evening. On me it’s lighter and fresher. In fact, I think I’m in danger of being one of those people who splashes on more and more because I can’t smell it enough! Can someone explain to me why perfume does smell so different on different people? Is it the alkaline in your skin, your body temperature? I don’t know. Maybe someone can help me here.

I am a perfume lover and this is one that I have a long standing admiration for. I have been buying this for over ten years, I love it and always swear I wont buy another bottle as I want to try new ones all the time but once it is gone I miss having it to wear.
This is a soft sensual perfume, which is a grown up feminine floral, it has a very powdery scent and is sweet without being sickly.
This is probably not a perfume most teenagers would like.
... ...as good as it smells.
At £22 for 30ml it costs about the average for a good perfume.
This will last quite well but I find that I need to apply it about every six hours.
It is an ideal daytime perfume but isn't really up to nights out as it just isn't powerful enough. It is ideal for people that don't want their perfume to make them stand out too much.

...fresh uncomplicated smells. Cerruti 1881 is my favourite perfume because of it's smell, and because it is nicely affordable. It can be described as fresh and fruity. I typically wear it school in the day time as well as out in the evenings. The scent lasts a long time...it's not one of those where you are constantly having to spray more throughout the day.
I've seen the perfume available from a lot of places...Wilkinson, Argos, Somerfield, it is ... ...vary largely from £13 up to £50 depending on where you buy it. I bought my last bottle at the local Somerfield. The bottle is attractive and simple. It is in an opaque bottle which has 1881 with a silver collar and a peach lid. Advantages: EASY PRESENT FOR MY MUM Disadvantages: COST AND SMELL
I know that alot of people will disagree with me but i really do not like this perfume and its my honest opinion.
I first realised what awful taste my mum had on a visit to boots. She was testing various perfumes and picked caerruti 1881 as her favourite. I never had chance to test it I was to busy trying to get home. When we got home she tried it on and asked me what i thought. the smell reminded me of my grandmas nursing home and i really didnt ... ...purchase (as my mum doesnt like parting with money) i said it was nice and left it at that. The problem was that she carried on wearing it and soon got threw two bottles, but i never had the heart to tell her that she smelt like gone off pot poperi. So For the last four years my mum has been so easy to buy presents for. It doesnt matter if its christmas or birthday this perfume always makes an appearence. She loves it . . . .guess someone has to!!

I bought Cerruti 1881 after trying a few perfumes in Boots. I wasn't 100% sure at the time so I bought it with another one I liked.

...can i tell you about Cerruti 1881, well apart from the fact it is a personall favourite of mine.
Perfume is somethin that i rarely buy for myself i usually just wait for my birthday or christmas to come round, but this is one i never let run dry even if i have to fork out for it myself!!
This perfume smells so expensive yet is very fairly priced infact dare i say it is actually cheap in the best way possible.

This is my perfect signature scent. It's one of those perfumes that if your friends smell it on anyone else they automatically think of you. I had this perfume bought for me by my boyfriend which is always a good start in my books, i opened the packaging and took my first sniff, well what can i say? it was a really really nice smell, totally unlike anything i have ever smelt but a familier smell all at the same time. This is a definate hit with me, ive tried all sorts of different perfumes and this is one of the best, if not the best out of them all. Its a very warm and comforting smell ... ...just take a quick sniff of your wrist and there we have it a little blast of niceness, i cant say its a wonderful smell because it isnt mind blowing, but who needs their minds being blown away in the middle of a conversation or a meeting?, no this is a perfect fragrance for everyday. This perfume also isnt disguised by body spray either it shines through every time.
Another good quality with this perfume is that it lasts all day *smells her wrists* ...
