...Official headphones are sold by Nintendo but I have also used the headphones from my I-pod. The built in microphone is used in some games. Some titles such as Brain Training rely on speech recognition but I've found they don't recognise my Scottish accent. I bought my son the Nintendo DS Lite last week and what a buy it was looking on the FridayAd website I found one for sale locally for only £90 including 2 games one of which was Animal Crossing. It was brand new and had everything with it as you get when you buy from the shops so saving about £50 I was a very happy dad. I brought the Nintendo ds lite over a year ago now, I brought the lite instead of the original simply because it looked better and weighed better. Usually the ds is aimed mainly at children, but as I am no child I find that it caters for my gaming needs very well. ...my younger Sister purchased a Nintendo DS Lite for herself and she loves it. There are so many games out there so there is something for everyone so you'll never get bored with your purchase. I think the reason she likes it so much as she has the "pink" version which is nice and girlie. The Nintendo DS is a great idea, easy to use, hand-held, you can travel with it. The Lite is even better - slightly smaller, slicker, more appealing to adults as well and of course lighter. ...I've always stayed clear of Nintendo as I always considered the type of games available for them as childish and basic.......oh, how wrong I was!
