Advantages: Backlight screen - Dual screen - Good price - Sterio sound Disadvantages: limited number of launch titles
...my hands on the new Nintendo DS. I got one in December 2004 shipped over to the UK from the USA 2 months before it was available in the UK and bought Mario 64 for the DS at the same time.
I can't get enough of platform games and have always loved Mario type games so Mario 64 for the DS was a logical choice for me and it kept me entertained for the full month before I finally admitted defeat at 98% of the game completed….
The DS itself is very ...

Advantages: Amazing features, not expensive! Disadvantages: None to be honest.
The Nintendo DS gaming console is an amazing experience for people of all ages. I bought mine after seeing the fun my brother and sister were having whilst playing wirelessly next to each other. No wires!
There is an amazing amount of games to purchase and with the wireless capabilities, the amount of fun is endless.
The touchscreen feature within the Ninendo DS allows players to complete various tasks with just a touch of the DS Stylus (Pen). ...

The nintendo DS console is great. I own one myself and i think the technology is amazing, my boyfriend also owns a nintendo DS, i didnt realise how good the graphics were until i saw him playing on metroid, i leant over and said wow what is that game? You see i play on the simpler games, which requires less graphic capabilities, such as warioware, animal crossing, and project rub. There are quite a few games out for the nintendo ds, some that are ...

Advantages: Loads of games to play Disadvantages: Addictive and the stylises are expensive
I got my Nintendo DS last Christmas and I still find it really fun to play with. I have 4 games for it now which are Nintendogs, Sims 2, Animal Crossing and Pac ‘n’ Roll. I had wanted an Nintendo for ages so when I got it I played for hours. Do not do this, it hurts your head.
Double Screen
There are 2 screens which may seem confusing but its not. The bottom screen is the touch screen. You use your stylus to touch it otherwise you’ll get fingerprints ...

Advantages: Touch Screen, two Screens, long battery life, great potential Disadvantages: Touch screen not amazingly responsive, heavy, not ergonomic
NIntendo is turning increasingly from the hard-core, serious NES days and more into a crazy, white-haired, six-year-at heart inventor who comes up with all sorts of wacky devices, (dazzling?) us all with their inventiveness. It's true. Look at the NES, a pavement grey, CPU like box with square controllers with magenta red buttons and a darker grey.
It looked more like Obi-Wan's radio to listen to on lonely days, or, more realistically, R2-D2's ...

Advantages: Touch screen, recognisable controls, dual screen Disadvantages: Screens attract dirt, only plays DS and GBA games (not GB)
The Nintendo DS is a step forward in technology. It is the first handheld console that has a touchscreen display. This allows users to control the character without the keys. This is prehaps the greatest feature the DS has, for me, and is completely original.
Another interesting feature they have put on the DS is how there is a microphone, which allows you to control characters, simply by blowing on the microphone, tapping, etc.
With the Nintendo ...

Advantages: dual screen/touch screen Disadvantages: not enough interesting games
my boyfriend recently bought the nintendo DS instead of waiting for the PSP.At first,I thought is was a bad idea but it turned out not to be a bad console.
The dual screen/touch screen concept is good. But I don't think there is enough interesting games to actually play with the touch screen. Tigers woods game is great to play on the DS though.I am addicted to it.
I am impressed by the battery life. You can get quite a few hours out of it.

Quick review of Nintendo DS Review ofNintendo DSby

I was bought my original Nintendo DS (Pink Nintendogs Set) for Christmas about two years ago. I've been playing on it seemingly endlessly ever since. Ive had no problems with it, the battery life is excellent. The games for it are getting better every month. It really reaches such a wide target market, I'm a 21 yr old female who isn't that interested in games but this console is so accessible to all ages that I've found all the different games that are right for me. I really enjoy playing with it and I love the touch screen feature too, allowing you to get more interactive with the games. It's definately got a thumbs up from me.

...built for graphics whereas the Nintendo DS is built for gameplay. And when you are looking for a games console (hand-held console (no real difference, they are both game consoles)) you have to ask whether you want something that has great graphics and poor gameplay or good graphics and great gameplay.
Metroid Prime, the demo you get with it is great fun also.
The price is very reasonable unlike the PSP where you pay £170+ for it and you don't even ...

Advantages: good design, lots of diffrent colours and games for it Disadvantages: none
i got this ds for Christmas and liked it as soon as i turned it on!
its just the right size and its good because you can play ds and gameboy games. Its much better than a gameboy because it has two screens and one of them is a touch screen.A normal ds pack would include a ds, a ds charger a 2 stylus, instruction manul and possibly a few games.
It also has a pictochat option on it which means you can chat to your friends like email. You can also connect ...

Advantages: FUN!!!, touch screen, durable desighn, sterio sound, wi-fi, and a long battery life Disadvantages: Sound can be a little quiet at times,
The Nintendo DS is no ordinary console. At first glance it appears to be merely an upgraded Game Boy Advance, but when you flip open the 148.7mm wide, 84.7mm long, 28.9mm tall clamshell case, you're faced with not one but two 3 inch backlit TFT screens, both with a resolution of 256x192 pixels and capable of displaying 260,000 colours. You'll find one screen placed in the lid and another on the base. The base's screen is touch-sensitive, similar to ...

Nintendo ds
I think that nintendo ds is great. It's easy to use and very pratical. There are great games you can buy to play on it. And it is a good price. It comes in a range of different colours suitable for both male and female. It is great for the whole family to play on, its not just for children. If you dont have one you defenately need to buy one. Its easy to use and great value for money.

The Nintendo DS is easy to use even for me and has a wide range of games ,the graphics are really good for a hand held console and this product is very reasonably priced.

Advantages: Great look, dual touch screens, brilliant system, fantastic sound, wireless network, built in microphone. Disadvantages: The console is very portable but I'd prefer it a bit smaller.
When this portable game console came out, I suddenly said in my head (like everyone else did, I hope) that I want one of those! Who wouldn't? This impressive handheld console has dual screens - it has not one but two LCD screens. By touching the screen with a stylus or a fingertip, you can now control the action and feel like you are REALLY in the game. The 3D graphics are just perfect and so as the sound of it. You can play with 8 other friends from ...
