...daughter has requested a new Nintendo DS light, the first time as a novelty item and the fact that they could be bought in pink. The second year due to the fact she has knackered the screen or at least the sensitivity of it and the third year due to the fact that you can know take pictures!

...thing I notice about my Nintendo DSi is it's texture. It feels like... a dried emulsioned wall. I open it up, turn it on and it asks for the basic settings. Date, time, your user name, your birthday. It doesn't initially ask you for your wireless settings, you have to click on the wrench icon to set wireless up.
Now our wireless network is set to WPA-PSK and I wasn't sure that the DSi allowed connection to this type of secure network. (You see, ... ...Once you have the Nintendo DSi connected to the internet, it asks you if it can take a system update. After it's taken it's update it will turn off.
The advertisements say the Nintendo DSi can get on the internet. Yes it can. But... the browser supports neither audio nor video so there's no Youtube :(
Now.... The sound quality is heaps better than the DS Lite, I had a little play with the sound recorder feature, I recorded a couple of sentences ...

..."enjoy the rich library of Nintendo DS games", however I beg to differ, one of the games I have been looking forward to having for a while was "Professor Leyton and the Curious Village" I purchased it off of eBay but when I tried it in my DSi it didn't work, then I tried it in my friends DS lite and it worked perfectly. Now I don't know if this was just because it was I had bought a dodgy one form eBay or if it is the game. All I'm saying is when ... ...there aredefinately compatible with the DSi.
So would I recommend this to anyone? To be honest only if you can get it for cheaper than £150. It is a great system and all but I managed to get a deal at GAME, I traded in my decent condition DSi and two games for a £100 DSi card, and ended up purchasing my DSi for £50. However I don't know if that was only a DSi preorder offer. However there are bound to be more offers, if not go to a site like eBay ...

...a replacement for my old nintendo ds lite, and handed my old ds down to my daughter to stop her stealing the others from her sisters. i was excited to see what the DSi had to offer and have to be honest on first impressions when opening the packaging was pleased with the new look and feel of the new matt finish and slimmer feel, however upon first switching the console on and exploring the new functions found it a little tricky on how to play with ... ...knowledge of anything "techy" is very limited) but with a fair amount of practise and rummaging around soon got to grips with it i have to be honest the camera and functions and the music/ recording functions have been mostly appealing to my 9 year old daughter who rarely plays with her DS lite, so for me except for the look and feel of the console i personally haven't reaped much benefit other than the kudos of having the latest gadget in front ...

the nintendo dsi comes in black or white but you can get accessory packs to personalize how you want it to look. in the pack you get battery charger and 4 more stylus's and an information and warranty pack. they dont give you anything to help conncet it to computer so you gotta but a SD memory card and also an adaptor for this SD card so you can put it in a usb disk and connect to computer.
you get the basic:
> settings folder (where you can make ... ...wi fi settings or language)
> sound application ( where you can record your voice and edit it with a variety of functions like making you sound asif your in a tunnel or talking on a reciever or a budgie... also add harmony. you can also upload songs from comp to SD card and have songs on there.)

I bought the Nintendo DSi as I was forever borrowing a family members Nintendo DS and at the time the DSi was available on special offer for virtually the same price. I love this product, the sound and picture quality are excellent and the fact that you can play your existing DS games means you don't have to start your collection from scratch again. One of the most frustrating things ever is discovering your old games are no longer compatible!

With two birthdays in two weeks it was obvious that one DSi just wouldn't suffice. So we said OK, one each but you better be good - when we say stop playing, you stop...you probably know the rest. First let me say that these really are great little bits of kit: They seem tough and reliable and easy to use. One has already taken a trip onto a wooden floor, making a solid clunk and continuing to work flawlessly, which is no less that you'd expect, ... ...we ordered one black and one white. I guess that other colours will arrive in time for the Christmas rush but for now, more than two may cause problems with which one belongs to who, if your kids are anything like mine! ...i can say about the nintendo dsi and that is awsome. Although the graphic capabilties are not and good as other handheld consoles, the Ndsi makes up for that in its touch screen games and downloadable content. This is by far my favourite handheld. Graphics: The garphics arn't the best considering its competitors but it survives in the market due to its other features Sound: Again which isn't the best but the dsi is not about the sound its about the ... ...on the dsi you will see the dsi shop. In this wonderful shop you can buy a wide range of games and one very useful peice of software called the internet box. I have downloaded one game and the internet box and i can say that the download rate is abit slow but not too slow.
