I have been looking forward to this product coming through so I can write a review on it. This is because, I think that lose of people on dooyoo would love this game, because it is cute, fun different. It is a virtual pet game where you can keep up to 6 dogs at the same time, but only three at your house. The other three stay in the Dog Hotel at no charge! There are three types of Nintendogs with their own 6 dogs. I am reviewing one of the popular ... ...version is called Nintendogs™ Lab & Friends. There are 5 other dogs on my type that I will tell you about later. This game is the best virtual pet you can get anywhere as you can speak to it, teach it tricks, call its' name, feed it, take it for walks, and more! I really loved this game at first, but I got really annoyed because I stopped playing it after a while and got bored of it. It is a great game, and you will find out the pros and cons of ...

Advantages: Fun, Visually Brilliant, Cute. Disadvantages: Sometimes Repetitive.
Ok I am on a roll with my Nintendo DS reviews but I can only share with you this one more review on one of my DS games until they have added all of my suggestions so you will have to just look forward to those. My next game I would love to tell you about is part of the Nintendogs range and the Nintendogs game I have is Lab and friends so here is what it is like. Oh and the title refers to my favourite pet Bob just in-case you were wondering.
-----
... ...have guessed from the title the Lab stands for Labrador and friends. In this game you get to choose a pet from several breeds of dog which are Labrador Retriever, Miniature Schnauzer, Toy Poodle, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Miniature Pinscher and a Shiba Inu. Your mission if you choose to accept it is to buy a puppy and raise it to learn its name and to be obedient.

Things to know:
Price - Around £29.99 in shops pr you can buy it with a DS in ...

Nintendogs!
You've undoubtedly seen the adverts on TV, and probably seen the huge amount of promotion this game has received, mainly down to it's success overseas, but if you're reading this, you MUST be interested in knowing more!
I have broken this review up into segments for ease of reading, if you have any problems or suggestions let me know and I will edit the review to make it more pleasing to read.

Advantages: Have a pet dog without having to clean up the mess! Disadvantages: The commentators are annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When my girlfriend first told me that she wanted a "Nintendog" I thought that it was going to be a glorified Tamagotchi! You feed it every now and then and get bored after a week....
But I was mistaken, it's actually quite addictive (So much in fact that I got one myself!).
At the start of the game you get to choose which puppy you want to begin with (See list below). If you are undecided you can view some in action to help you make up your mind. ... ...your puppies name into the built in mic. After calling it 3 or 4 times the puppy recognises it and from then on will respond to your call. You are then made to type the name on the screen. Next you are taught how to teach your puppy a trick, "Sit". Using the touch screen, pet the puppy and move the cursor downwards to make him/her sit. A light bulb flashes in the corner, and clicking it will prompt you to call the command. Again, after several attempts ...

Advantages: Fantastic for reducing children time on computer games Disadvantages: Could be a bit boring for older children
Ok we bought this game along with the Nintendo DS for our daughter for Christmas. We paid £99.00 for the two and also got an accessory pack for Free, this included a carry case which I would strongly recommend (although the DS is quite strong looking the case surrounding the DS will crack very easy if dropped).
Ok to begin when you first turn your Nintendo Game on You are directed to the Kennels where you are asked to choose a puppy from the list ... ...Labrador Retriever
Miniature Schnauzer
Toy Poodle
Miniature Pinscher
In the other Nintendog games these breeds differ.
You are then asked to name your puppy this is done via the speaker, you repeat your chosen name several times then once the DS recognises it a light bulb appears in the far right hand corner to acknowledge recognition. You are then asked to type your chosen name via the keyboard.
The difference with this game to most is you ...

Advantages: Great if can't have dog/see if child can look after dog Disadvantages: Dogs don't grow up, repetitive
Nintendogs takes the idea of an already established game (Petz on PC) and bumps it to the next level. The whole idea is to simulate having a real dog, and most of the trials and joys associated. Children will benefit from this to see if they can look after a pet, or perhaps to compensate for being unable to own a real pet.
When you first start up the game, you go to buy your first puppy at the kennel. Once your new pet is purchased, you will be taken to the main screen, your house.
The tutorial takes you through the next steps, such as calling the dog over, teaching it to recognise its name (and come when called), how to teach the dog to sit, both to touch and voice command, and how to feed your dog. Basic interaction is simple; tap the screen and your dog will ...

Advantages: Great for children to learn how to look after pets Disadvantages: None
The idea of Nintendogs is to look after a virtual animal without the real responsibility of what a real pet would take to look after. It helps if a child isn't able to get a real pet in their household, it really gives them something to look after. When you first start the game, you have to buy your first puppy at the kennels. Advantages: Tamagotchi with good graphics Disadvantages: No substantial differences between this and a tamagotchi aside from the graphics
Having heard about this game I was curious to find out whether there was any real substance to it or whether it was just a more high tech version of a tamagotchi. Unfortunately it's the latter.
The game is perfectly enjoyable to start with, you teach the dog tricks and the better it gets the better it does in shows thus winning more money. With this money you buy the dog toys, treats etc. You'll also need to look after the dog i.e. feed it, bath ... ...adopt more dogs, if I remember correctly the maximum is four, but there's nothing else to the game. There's also the issue of voice recognition which is fairly poor. Having named one of my dogs I couldn't for the life of me get the DS to accept the name when I pronounced it which made it impossible to get past a certain point with that dog and thus I had to start again and pick an even more simple name in the hope of it being recognised, luckily ...

Advantages: fun for a while Disadvantages: get boring , not the real thing
When i first got my Ds the first game i went out and bought was Nintendogs and i loved it ,, it was just like a taking care of a real dog, i could ; take it for walks , train it for compitions, clean it's coat with a brush or in the bath, feed it and pick up his/her's poop- all the novalties of a real dog but with out any strings atached, for example it dosen't cost any money in real life, although in the game you make money by entering comiptions ... ...also upgrade your living enviroment.(room) through out the game you will get a message telling you that you can now get diffrent breeds of dog, basicaly as you have fun and take care of your dog/puppie you are boosting a score that lets you 'upgrade your dog' it lets you have diffrent breed that you can pick to your personal taste in dog.

Advantages: Great graphics, great dogs, great features! Disadvantages: Some features to be used only 3 times a day.
I must admit, at first the game doesn't actually sound that great: pretend dogs, tacky interaction, but after trying out the game recently, I soon realised this was a mistake and went out and bought it. Why? Because the game is simply amazing!
--- Interaction ---
One of the main things that I like about Nintendogs is the way you can interact with the dogs and train them up. The game is simply unique compared to other games in it's league, with ... ...them tricks and then say a word to get them to do a trick, and then treating them by patting, stroking and feeding them with the touch-screen!
--- Competitions ---
The next point is the way that you can put your dog into a range of different competitions and then earn money as the prizes! I love this feature, and the way you teach them to improve for the competitions! You can also get trophies, and earn 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize!

BACKGROUND:
When I first got my Nintendo DS, I wanted to try this game out, so I bought it from Argos for £29.99. First of all, I do not believe that the game should be worth that much. I think a more realistic price should have been around £15. As a whole, I think Nintendo should decrease the price that they charge for much of their software, as more young people would be able to purchase it. * * * * * * * * * *
ABOUT THE GAME:
At first, the ... ...pet and name it. From there, you can train it and actually use voice commands by speaking into the microphone. Once you've trained your dog, you can enter it into various contests in which you can enter at various different levels. Unfortunately, this aspect of the game gets rather repetitive and tiring once you've done it a couple of times. The good part however is that you get money for each win at a contest, which enables you to buy things at ...

Advantages: Fun game for all ages Disadvantages: NONE its fab
I got this game included with my nintendo ds and I love it.
Nintendogs is the next best thing to owning a real puppy. There are three different versions to choose from:
* labrador and friends
* chihuahua and friends
* daschund and friends
Each version of nintendogs has six different breeds to choose from. Each has its own personality and I think they look quite life like.
In the box is an instruction booklet, health and safety guide and, strangely, ... ...get the game itself.
When you start the game you are prompted to choose a puppy. Once you have chosen one you then have to give it a name but you do not just type it in. The voice recognition technology allows you to also say the name into the microphone of the console. You have to speak clearly and it can take a few attempts but your puppy will learn its name and recognise it when you call it out. You also have to use this feature to train your ...

Advantages: Fun, cute, simple enough for small children. Disadvantages: Gets repetitive
This game is ideal for the child who wants a dog but isn't old enough to look after one.
Theres plenty of things to do such as feeding, bathing, brushing, training and going for walks.
There are 3 types of contest to earn money to spend on food and toys for your dogs.
The dialog during these contests isn't funny the first time...and continues to go downhill, but other than that the are good fun.
The puppies do not grow and do not die, leaving ... ...with when you want and turn off when you dont
You can dress your puppies in a large variety of collars, hats and bows. Some are basic such as a plain black collar. Some are a lot odder such as a viking hat and a rainbow wig.
there are lots of toys also with a huge variety of Frisbees, balls and bones to choose from as well as controllable 'karts' from Mariokart and a controllable Helicopter. There are also balloons you can blow up by blowing on ...

Advantages: Get a dog, no responsibility! Disadvantages: Repetitive
I was sent this game to test and to promote. Now, long after it's release, the novelty of a dog you don't need to walk or clean up after has worn off. To start off this was a good game- the graphics were cool, the voice control was fun to use. It started to get very repetitive and very boring. During these competitions you can earn money and buy things such as dog treats, toys or a new design for your house. You can keep up to three dogs in your house and another five in a hotel. You can switch between the dogs and even put them up for adoption but this deletes them from the game. You can meet friends on your walks and ...

Advantages: Fun, exciting, good for all ages Disadvantages: gets old, starts to become a chore
What this game is is basicly a very realistic virtual pet game. This is not like tomagachi or neopets. The dogs are so real, its like the DS is alive. They have emotions, depending on their breed, gender, how you treat them, what kind of history they have had, and where they come from. The DS uses microphone abilities, so you can train, call, and talk to your dog as if it were all in real life. Not that it is much, but you can pet it and stuff, and ... ...take it for walks, enter it in contests, go to the park, meet other dogs, go to gyms, and much more. Depending on situations in which you treat them different ways, is how your dog will grow to be. The things that happen and the way the pups react are very similer to life situations, and will keep you wondering how it could be so real, yet be just a small card thats shoved into a little portable station.
You start your game at the kennel. Here you ...
