Advantages: Excellent customer services (manufacturer), Very light buggy Disadvantages: Need to get hang of steering!
...(around £200) and the instep nipper .(around £300) I even stopped people in the street that had these buggies to ask about them!! In the end we opted for the nipper because;
-at 9kg, it is the one of the lightest all terrain pushchairs on the market
-at 77cms, it is much narrower than the mothercare (80+cm)
-looks very sporty and easy to clean
-excellent recommendations
We paid £299 for it, and initially we had problems with the seat. After ... ...and rolled back.
The nipper has multi seat recline. It has a strap with a clasp that when you release it, the seat reclines. This is adjustable. It goes from full recline to upright. There is a seat pad that comes with the buggy, but you may want to add a cosy toes. You can buy the instep ones or use a standard one. There is a 5 point harness on each seat. The straps are maybe a little on the large side even when on the tightest setting, but do ...

Advantages: Very easy to push and steer, lightweight, lots of room for shopping! Disadvantages: None
I bought this pram to ferry around my almost 2 year old and our newest addition to the family! We chose the red model with 2 optional extras - the tray and 2 matching footmuffs.
On delivery I was truly surprised at how lightweight it was - even at 8 months pregnant I had no problems lifting it out of its box. It needed only minimal assembly and was soon set up in our living room.
The seats do look quite narrow, especially when compared to a single ... ...obvious that, whilst not the roomiest of seats, they are none the less not cramped at all. My daughter is a BIG 2 year old (in 3-4 and 4-5 clothing) and she fits in just fine. The seats lay almost flat and our newborn was fine without a head support (we did buy a separate one anyway but did not need it). The adjustment of the seat back is done via straps at the back of each seat. The straps have a clip in the middle so you can have 2 positions set, ...

Advantages: Very light & easy to push & steer Disadvantages: None that I can think of!
...anything UNTIL I found the Nipper Double.
I gave it a thorough examination in the shop - tried the twins in it - tried it in the car - the works! I soon discovered that I liked it very much!
~WIDTH~ 77cm wide
~WEIGHT~ 9kg (ultra lightweight)
~PRICE~ £299 (can be bought on-line for less)
At 77cm wide it's one of the narrowest twin buggies on the market and I have yet to find a shop doorway that I can't get it thru'. At 9kg it's THE lightest twin ... ...any major effort.
The Nipper has a large pull up/down hood which has a viewing hole which can be covered if needs be. On either side of the hood there are zipped pockets which are ideal hor purse/keys/wipes/tissues etc.
In the UK we haven't needed an additional sun canopy however we did purchase a protect-a-bub shade for our holiday and it was fantastic and made a huge difference.
The Nipper comes with 2 co-ordinating seat pads which protect the ...

Advantages: COMPACT & LIGHTWEIGHT Disadvantages: Haven't come across any as yet!
...one of which was the Nipper Double.
The Nipper Double is 77cm wide and therefore narrow enough to get thru' most shop doorways, I can also get it onto my local low floor bus into town which I wasn't able to do with my previous model.
It's a dream to push and steer which surprised me is the front wheel is static and I thought this would make it difficult to manouvre but it's so lightweight it's a doddle to get around with.
I love the large sun ... ...multi positional and lie completely flat for a new baby, the stroller comes complete with seat pads which will protect the seat long term, there are brilliant drawstring type built in bags attached to the rear of the seats and you can also buy a basket to fit underneath.
Best of all is the weight of the stroller - a mere 9kg (almost 10kg lighter than other's we'd looked at), I can lift it single handed into the boot of our Mondeo (still plenty of ...

Advantages: Lightweight, quite narrow, reclines almost flat, easy to steer, fairly easy to fold, good rain cover, good shocks, quick release wheels, rigid rear parking brakes. Disadvantages: Dangerous, uncomfortable for older babies, too small for large toddlers, poor quality, fiddly seat adjust, rubbish sun canopy, poor storage capacity.
I bought this buggy for my twins as it's about the only affordable 3 wheeler available in the UK and my sister-in-law raved about it.
However, in my opinion it is positively dangerous. The weight is all balanced over the rear axle which makes it very easy to push and steer - BUT means it will fall over backwards at the slightest gust of wind or knock from a toddler (eg). And don't even think about hanging a change bag on the back! My twins were ... ...never looked that comfortable. Now, at 8 months, they just scream every time I try to put them in it. The bar across the front of the seat is not good for that in-between size of child.
The seats do not adjust to a very upright position and the straps for adjusting them are very fiddly and so near to the ground that you have to bend double to use them. The wheels are too small for serious off-road use (though the shocks are pretty good). The overall ...

Advantages: Lightweight, durable, great for twins Disadvantages: Awkward to carry
...bought this 2 year old Nipper from a friend for our 8 month old twins. It replaced a Mamas and Papas Duette Twin Travel system which wasn't up to the job and required returning to M&P for repair (see review of Duette).
It is incredibly light and makes pushing uphill a pleasure. One can literally push it with one finger. The weight also means it does not need large biceps to lug it about although the folded up shape is a bit awkward. It does take ... ...folded although all 3 wheels come off easily to aid transportation.
The raincover is easy to install and does a good job of keeping the nippers dry, even in very nasty weather. The drawstring pockets in the rear are fairly spacious and allow several useful things to be carried.
I would say that it is fairly wide and can be difficult in smaller shops and supermarkets in contrast to the Duette which will fit through most narrow tills, even though ...

Advantages: Very light and easy to handle. Loads of storage space. Disadvantages: No front swivel wheel.
The nipper is great! It folds down very easily and you can lift it into the boot with one hand. I have a rover 200 and it fits in the boot with the removal of only one wheel!
It only takes about 20 seconds to put it up again too!
The shopping basket underneath (optional extra) is a bit too low, and makes folding the pushchair a bit of a pain, but the storage bags on the back of the seats are more than enough room for a couple of days worth of shopping.
