...deliberation, I opted for the Nivea body sunless tanner as I am familiar with the brand and I have heard positive feedback for this particular product. The promise of slightly glowing skin throughout the summer was very appealing, but did it work?

...all-time favourite gradual tanning moisturiser, Nivea Body Sunkissed Skin. This is one of the new generation of self-tanners which are taking off in a big way. For those who haven't come across them, they are basically a body and/or facial moisturiser, which contain a small amount of tanning agent. Advantages: Easy to apply, available in most supermarkets including boots. Disadvantages: The smell - you look more orange than brown
...again and I came across Nivea Body Sunkissed skin, a firming gradual tan lotion and I thought to myself - why not, I'll give it a go. Now I've always been a bit reluctant to use self tanning products because normally you end up streaky and the smell is hideous, but the thing to remember is this isn't just a self tanning lotion, it's a moisturiser so there are multiple benefits.

...special offer where I saw Nivea Body Sunkissed Skin (200ml) being sold with a free tube of Nivea Visage Sunkissed Skin (50ml). The cost was £5.65 for the two, which is the cost of the body cream. I have tried to find out the cost of the face cream to see how much I had saved but, apart from seeing it on EBay for about £4; I can't find the price of it anywhere.

The pale peachy coloured plastic bottle is about 6 inches tall and ... ...bottle are the dark blue Nivea logo and the name of the product. There are also the words 'gradual tanning, body moisturiser and firming care' and 'for a year round summer glow' - big claims then! I still wasn't convinced though but at least it had been a special offer!
I bought the one for 'fair to medium skin' for obvious reasons but there is also one available for 'medium to dark skin'.

Advantages: Smell, not sticky, would last a long time. Disadvantages: Patchy, took a long time to dry and see results, not coloured, bottle too big.
...there. I was disappointed, because Nivea moisturisers, I feel, are very good. I got the firming version of this tanner, and it certainly did firm my legs especially and made my skin feel lovely and soft. The only other advantage really was the smell. It's nice and sweet and doesn't smell like usual fake tans.
Overall, I wouldn't buy it again simply because the patches were just too obvious. I have now given up and returned to my 'English Rose' self. ... ...for spending so much on fake tan, when there was a giant yellow thing in the sky that was FREE. Yes, it's free, but it's takes forever for it to work, and when you have a neighbour that fancies you, you do not want to lay in the garden in a bikini whilst he peakes through his bedroom window.
Maybe I should do a review of the sun.... ...

...one day I spotted this, Nivea Body Sunkissed Skin in Superdrug. It was 5.65 for 200ml and came bundled with a free full size tube of Nivea Visage Sunkissed Skin ( similar product but designed to use on the face - this too is excellent).
So I buy it. I go home, I shower (I exfoliate every inch of my body) and I apply it all over. I always take extreme care to rub it (and other similar products) in carefully & evenly... so I can't comment on what ... ...stink! - Not so with Nivea Sunkissed Skin!)
I kept using the product, applying it every other day. And it did build up to become darker (still looking entirely natural). When I got to the shade I wanted to be, I stopped using it for a week, at which point I began to fade... so went back on the bottle! I'm now using it every 3 days or so and I'm maintaining my beautiful tan.
A 200ml size bottle lasts me about 3-4 weeks used once every 3 days (I'm ...

...but then I saw the Nivea Sunkissed range on offer in places like Bodycare and Savers, with the moisturiser for face thrown in for about £4.99. I found the Nivea product to be a lighter formula, less prone to streaking and the different tones ('Fair Skin', etc.) more in tune with a natural glow, rather than the dreaded tangerine look. Even the container is more ergonomic than the Johnson's equivalent. The bottle is easier to open without chipping ... ...In conclusion, I found the Nivea Sunkissed the best value for money, and if you want to wear fishnets or lacy tights for a party this Christmas, your legs will be far less blue and lovely and soft if you use this product (avoid using anything like this on the thighs when wearing hold-ups). I brought this because I am fed up with being white and pasty! It was resonably cheap from savers so I thought I would give it a try. 3 days later, using morning and night, I have a nice glow. From £4.99 to 79p, this Nivea lotion caught my eye! This was definatly a great bargin! I have always been a fan of Nivea as they really moisture the skin. In a couple of days after using the Sunkissed skin, people noticed my healthier complection. My skin also felt and looked alot less dry. ...say that i really like Nivea brand and use the whole new skin range from them so I was tempted to try the self tanning lotion as well.
I purchased the lotion from Superdrug for medium/dark skin and tried it the sam eday after having a proper scrub and not moisturising after bath. It really works to apply the self tan cream straight on to skin apart from dry areas such as knees, ancles, feet.
It blended quite easily but I had to rub it in a lot. ...
