I grew up thinking of Nivea as a cream that came in a little blue tin and had a unique aroma. I also grew up thinking that face creams, cleansers and other associated products were the preserve of the fairer sex. I found Nivea shaving gel by default, my usual Gillete brand was not available in the 24hr petrol station I had called in. I have to say it was a real bit of good luck on my part, the product is excellent. I have a fairly heavy growth so need a close shave every day without fail. Nivea gel smells great and a little goes a long long way, further than the market leader. I have sensative skin, my shave has felt a lot closer and a lot lot less mornings ...
...put this down to the Nivea gel. The product presentation is good or should I say it appeals to me ahead of Gilletes Surf boarding, ski jumping, go getting, all american pie image that you get in it's adverts. Nivea is good, but just bought Proraso at Mgender.com. They have a special cream which you can use before and after shaving. Worked perfectly for me (have sensitive skin). Seems to last very long too as I only apply it lightly. I have always liked the Nivea aftershave balms, but found them too greasy. This Italian cream does it for me though. I used to like gels, but found them too messy. Your hands get greasy and you cannot hold your blade properly. ...
