Advantages Advantages Does what it says largely, good size, tubes are handy for travelling. PH friendly.

Disadvantages Disadvantages The scent smells like camera film liquid, contains lanolin, bigger tub can be pricey.

When it comes to lotions and potions for dry skin or combination skin, I have my many products but when I forget to take a dry skin lotion with me when travelling, I usually end up buying something I regret later. I discovered Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Creme in 2009 and was about the only product that looked good at the time in the place I was visiting. The weather didn't make life easier either where harsh winds were the order of the day and having taken the advice of friends to pack light clothing, I ended up spending a small fortune on fleece jackets and woolly jumpers - I really ... more

Advantages Advantages Everyday moisture for all over the body! Great value for money and a lovely fragrance.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not as intense as some hand creams... but that really does not matter!

I have tubes of hand lotion, bottles of face cream and mountains of body lotions tucked away in my room. This is fine when I am at home and can use as many lotions and potions as I want. But when staying away from home it makes it slightly harder to pack. Just a few tubes of anything and my overnight bag is full and hard for me to carry! What is a girl to do!? So when I stayed at my boyfriends recently I had the excuse of needing some cream for my dry skin. Of course his response was why didn’t I bring one from my already vast collection of creams, but I just couldn’t choose! So when I spotted ... more

Advantages Advantages Thick and creamy moisturiser, leaves skin feeling soft, and it smells good too!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None for me.

I was recently sent a body moisturiser to try in place of my usual moisturiser for 2 weeks as part of a survey panel. It arrived in a plain, white, non descript tub but despite this, immediately upon smelling the moisturiser, I knew it was a product by Nivea! Nivea products seem to have that lovely Nivea smell, even the small lip balm I use has the same whiff! My guess was correct as (rather unusually) the survey told me at the end the product was Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising cream. It’s so wonderfully thick and creamy... The product must have changed in recent times as it now comes in a ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap but very effective, can be used on both face and body

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

The first moisturiser I ever used was Nivea, the one in the royal blue pot. I have experimented with different moisturisers since then but have always had a soft spot for Nivea and its fragrance. So when I spotted this Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Creme in a handy tube priced at just under £2.50, I thought I would give it a try and if I liked it then I could take it away on my holidays, as not only is it suitable for your face, but you can also use it all over your body. The advantages of this moisturiser is when going on holiday it would certainly be easier to just have to take one ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I don't normally use a moisturiser that is designed for all over as I think they don't work as effectively as separate face and body ones do. That was until I received a trail size sample through the post of this product - Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Cream. I've tried the normal Nivea in the past and thought it was 'okay' but nothing special, so I wasn't overly excited at trying this. As it was only a small sample I decided to test it out on my hands as it states it's ideal for hands, face and body. On trying it I was very impressed so decided to buy a tube next time I was in Superdrug ... more

Advantages Advantages Absorbs quickly, great value for money

Disadvantages Disadvantages None for me although can make your skin feel greasy if you use too much

Seeking the perfect moisturiser can be a monstrous task these days with so many competitors vying for customers attention with promises of soft as silk skin. Do you spend that little bit more on a designer product, or choose a cheaper alternative? It is of course up to you, but I’ve found personally that one such product that’s kinder to the purse strings than others is quite the sensation. ~ NIVEA SOFT.. ~ Nivea’s Soft Intensive Moisturising cream is a simple way of keeping your skin soft and happy! I’ve used it for a while now. Ages ago I did a review on an Almay moisturising product, which ... more

Advantages Advantages Moisturising, good value for money

Disadvantages Disadvantages A little bit greasy

I received a free sample pot of Nivea Soft through the post this morning. I don't normally use moisturiser, but it just so happens that I have had a hideous cold for the past two weeks (not pleasant!) which has left my skin in a complete mess and is horribly dry and flaky (sexy I know!). So I welcomed this little pot of moisturiser as my skin is in real need of some life putting back into it. Apparently Nivea Soft is - "a highly effective moisturising cream for every-day use on face, hands, and body. Enjoy a fresh moisture boost as Nivea Soft absorbs immediately into your skin and leaves it ... more

Advantages Advantages absorbs well, works brilliantly, a visible improvement in my skin

Disadvantages Disadvantages only the price - but it's worth it :-)

This is my favourite beauty product, my one indispensable item that I need a constant supply of – and no, it’s not by Avon! It’s Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Crème (phew!) which is usually priced around £2.40 for the 75ml tube (it’s also available in a little jar) but I bought some last week from Asda for only £2.18 – so shop around! I have suffered from dry skin for a long time, despite trying various products both prescribed by the Doctor and bought over the counter. But the problem persisted. One day, we were on a long car journey and stopped at ... more

Everyone asks me what the secret of my young looking skin is? People look at me and can't believe that I'm 26 and yes I know that's not old, but they say I only look 21. The secret is that I have been blessed with young looking skin and because of that fact, I want to look after it. I have been looking after my skin since I was very young probably in my early teens. I was always aware that I had good skin and didn't suffer from terrible acne like some young teens unfortunately do. I've always felt lucky where my skin is concerned and try to do everything I can to maintain it. I don't really ... more

Advantages Advantages Refreshing, unique, nice smell

Disadvantages Disadvantages Hard to squeeze the remaining cream out

Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Cream is a product I will stick with, after trying lots of different hand creams that I didn't like. It comes in a 75ml tube which is good to fit into your hand bag and carry around with you all day, or a 200ml pot, good for using at home. The cream looks amazing when you open the pot product - bright white and fluffy looking like whipped cream. Looks almost good enough to eat (wouldn't recommend that though haha)! It's a highly effective moisturising cream for everyday use on hands, body AND face, therefore its multi-purpose so you don't need to buy lots of ... more
