~# Soft as a baby's bottom #~

Advantages: Moisturising, good value for money
Disadvantages: A little bit greasy

...a free sample pot of Nivea Soft through the post this morning. I don't normally use moisturiser, but it just so happens that I have had a hideous cold for the past two weeks (not pleasant!) which has left my skin in a complete mess and is horribly dry and flaky (sexy I know!). So I welcomed this little pot of moisturiser as my skin is in real need of some life putting back into it. Apparently Nivea Soft is - "a highly effective moisturising cream ...
...fresh moisture boost as Nivea Soft absorbs immediately into your skin and leaves it sensationally soft, supple, and invigorated". I tend to disagree slightly with this description, as I will explain below. I opened the pot and there is a distinct smell to the moisturiser - it reminds me of sun cream! I'm not entirely sure I want to smell of sun cream in the middle of winter (technically it may still be autumn, but I feel like it's the depths of ...

Nivea Gonna Give You Up

Advantages: absorbs well, works brilliantly, a visible improvement in my skin
Disadvantages: only the price - but it's worth it :-)

...it’s not by Avon! It’s Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Crème (phew!) which is usually priced around £2.40 for the 75ml tube (it’s also available in a little jar) but I bought some last week from Asda for only £2.18 – so shop around! I have suffered from dry skin for a long time, despite trying various products both prescribed by the Doctor and bought over the counter. But the problem persisted. One day, we were on a long ...
...was my first experience of Nivea and I have been using it every day since then. What’s more, its effects must be visible because when I was having my hair dyed last week, my hairdresser asked what I had been using on my face, as my skin looked so much better. Yes, this cream can also be used on your face – unlike most hand creams – and I have problem skin here too. My cheeks are very dry and flaky, often becoming red and itchy ...

Does it smell good?

Feel The Intensity

Advantages: Works, reasonably priced
Disadvantages: Smell, bottle

...and decided to try her Nivea soft, intensive moisturising cream that she uses on her body and not on her face. The bottle costs about £1.99 for a 75ml bottle, but you can get it for more or less. The bottle was white with the blue Nivea sign, Nivea intensive moisturising cream written on the front. I didn't rate the bottle, it was plastic and nothing special. There was no fancy design on it, no flowers and no effort put in, in that department. ...
...feeling. My mum uses Nivea soft, intensive moisturising cream all the time and she loves it. Mum unlike me uses it for her body though and it can be used all over your skin. Did you also know that vitamin E helps to strengthen nails as well as being highly beneficial to the skin. I would recommend this, my mum buys it at Tesco's, but you can buy it from almost anywhere. Like I said earlier the only downside is the smell which I don't like. Mum ...

Give your skin a treat!

Advantages: Refreshing, unique, nice smell
Disadvantages: Hard to squeeze the remaining cream out

Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Cream is a product I will stick with, after trying lots of different hand creams that I didn't like. It comes in a 75ml tube which is good to fit into your hand bag and carry around with you all day, or a 200ml pot, good for using at home. The cream looks amazing when you open the pot product - bright white and fluffy looking like whipped cream. Looks almost good enough to eat (wouldn't recommend that though haha)! ...
...on hands, body AND face, therefore its multi-purpose so you don't need to buy lots of different types of creams, which is beneficial if you're going on holiday, for example. It's fresh, light and makes my skin nice and smooth. My hands never feel dry after I apply this, but I usually use it twice a day to ensure my skin stays moisturised throughout. It's not greasy at all and it absorbs quickly, but I tend to use a different, special cream for my ...

Silky soft

Advantages: Smells nice, feels nice
Disadvantages: Not veggie friendly (Lanolin comes from the sebum of sheep)

...4 free 8ml samples of Nivea Soft through my front door. You see there are 4 flats in this house, except I'm pretty sure that the tough guy in Flat 1 doesn't want a free sample of Nivea Soft. The guy in Flat 2 might but that's an entirely different story! Since they were all left downstairs I figured that I might as well take all 4. SMELL Mmm. Original Nivea moisturiser smells good but this product smells amazing. It has a light, fresh fragrance that ...
...part - you can use Nivea Soft on your face, hands & body. Most moisturisers are too rich for your face but not this one. First I decided to try it on my face. It glided on well, absorbed almost immediately and felt noticeably softer. Whilst it is quite thick in its consistency and incredibly moisturising, it isn’t greasy or too rich. It is ph balanced and gentle enough to use every day. I have very sensitive skin and it didn't irritate me at all. ...

Review of Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Creme

Does it smell good?

Come run your hands over my silky smooth body

Advantages: Smooth feeling skin
Disadvantages: none

What can I say? Nivea have really struck gold with this product! I discovered it last week when my Mum, due to a dodgy sample of some cream, came out in nasty blotches of dry flaking skin and an equally nasty, but nicely co-ordinating (!), rash. As she refused to leave the house I, dutiful daughter that I am, nipped down to Tesco in search of something to soothe her pain. ---Packaging--- I chose this product due to the fact that it claimed to contain ...
...plain white background with the Nivea logo on it is not exactly what I’d call eye catching but this really is a case of letting the product speak for itself. It is available in a 75ml tube (priced at around £2.50) and a 150ml little pot (around £5). Had this been for myself, I would have plumped for the pot (I can’t stand the wastage you get with a tube) but instead I went for the cheaper option- the tube. ---Smell--- Never one to miss ...

...Vitamin E, and of course, Nivea Intensive Cream. I am not completely loyal to Nivea. I love St.Ives as well, but probably about equally. Nivea is like spreading silk on my skin. It is a heavy and thick, very luxurious feeling cream (and it is how I think of a cream compared to a lotion-which I feel is lighter-). The scent is very subtle but floral like. There are no extracts from flowers for the scent listed, but it smells almost like water lily ...
...evenly no matter what amount is used. The best part is though, there are no white streaks left after I'm done rubbing it in. (Regular lotion users will understand this pet peeve) Really the only downfall that doesn't make me a completely loyal user is the greasiness factor. It is very slight, and it isn't as bad as most, but there is always a light layer left that isn't lotion, but quite simply, grease. Bottom line, if you want to keep you skin ...

Eau de sweaty armpit... mmm!

Advantages: Cheap, effective, smells good
Disadvantages: None

...forget to leave home without Nivea Soft in my bag - it's an absolute essential. Nivea has always been a firm favourite with me, because it's cheap and reliable. It's not fashionable, but for such low prices and great quality, does it really matter? Their Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Creme had been advertised so much that I decided to give into the hype. And I wasn't disappointed! It isn't easy on the eye - it comes in a plain white plastic ...

Review of Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Creme

Does it smell good?

Lovely and Soft

Advantages: leave skin smooth and soft, better as a night time moisturiser
Disadvantages: is a little heavy for daytime wear

I thought I'd give Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Cream a try, as I fancied a change from the usual baby lotion I use. Also Nivea has been around for a such a long time the brand can be trusted. Don't be put off by the packaging as it looks a bit boring - the brand speaks for itself. Nivea Soft is available in a 75ml tube costing around £1.99, 200ml tub for £2.75 and a 300 ml tub for £5.75. The packaging is quite simple and is all white other ...

The improved formula with Jojoba Oil contains even more moisturising care and has a refreshing effect on your skin, while Vitamin E helps to protect it's natural structure. This moisturiser is quite thick in consistency (this is why I think it's better as a night moisturiser) and you will find that unlike other ...

Soft and gentle

Advantages: cheap, smells nice, makes skin soft
Disadvantages: none

...The one I use is Nivea soft intensive moisturising creme. It comes in a white 75ml tube with a blue box saying Nivea soft. It is nothing special to look at really. The main reason I decided to choose this one was because my Mum uses it as well. The creme is white in colour and quite thick. It smells nice too, just like most other moisturising creme's do. You can use this creme for:- hands face all over your body I mainly use it for my hands ...
