Advantages Advantages Smells nice, feels nice

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not veggie friendly (Lanolin comes from the sebum of sheep)

Some kind soul recently posted 4 free 8ml samples of Nivea Soft through my front door. You see there are 4 flats in this house, except I'm pretty sure that the tough guy in Flat 1 doesn't want a free sample of Nivea Soft. The guy in Flat 2 might but that's an entirely different story! Since they were all left downstairs I figured that I might as well take all 4. SMELL Mmm. Original Nivea moisturiser smells good but this product smells amazing. It has a light, fresh fragrance that you can still smell for at least half an hour after applying to your skin. Parfum is listed as one of the ... more

What can I say? Nivea have really struck gold with this product! I discovered it last week when my Mum, due to a dodgy sample of some cream, came out in nasty blotches of dry flaking skin and an equally nasty, but nicely co-ordinating (!), rash. As she refused to leave the house I, dutiful daughter that I am, nipped down to Tesco in search of something to soothe her pain. ---Packaging--- I chose this product due to the fact that it claimed to contain jojoba oil and Vitamin E, both of which help in protecting and nourishing the skin. As this was not a product for myself, I did not take into ... more

As I'm sure it is with everyone, mornings that I forget to moisturize wreak havoc on my skin. I honestly feel like I'm going to crack straight through for the dryness winter brings on. I go through about three large (500Ml) bottles per winter season and my boyfriend rolls his eyes every time he sees me slathering on great layers of the stuff. So when it comes to choosing a brand, I pretty much know the range of available moisturizers. Up until a couple of years ago, I was actually using face moisturizer for all over use and that was getting pretty expensive. I just didn't trust the 'general' ... more

    Advantages Advantages works quite well

I was searching for spaghetti in the supermarket when I came across Nivea Soft. At first it just seemed like another moisturiser with a load of French stuff written on it to try to look confusing to make people buy it. Well, I fell for it and found out that actually it is quite good… let me explan… I bought a 150ml size pot for about £3.50, which wasn’t really too bad, about aberage really for a high quality brand name. Remember that French stuff I told you about? Well it said on the lid 'Crema idratante per una pelle piu morbida Con olio di jojoba vitamina E', what every ... more

I like to take good care of my skin as I want it to feel the best, this is why I always ensure that I pay for a good cream for my body etc to keep it in great condition. I like Nivea products and have used them before and so another addition to my collection is this soft intensive moisturising creme by theme. The good thing with a creme like this is that it can be used on face, body and hands and so it is not just limited to one area. It comes in different sized packaging as well so that you can buy the one that best suits your needs. PACKAGING This can come in a tub or a tube but I have the ... more

Advantages Advantages Nice, clean fragrance, easy application

Disadvantages Disadvantages Isn't all that a rich moisturiser and it is expensive for the results that it gives

When it comes to body creams and the likes they are really something that I buy often, use once and shove out of eyesight....as a rule lol. I'm full of good intentions to use them, especially in the winter months like we're in now but never tend to use them which leaves me binning them, ignoring them until they are covered in dust and look ancient or I give them to my best mate Liz...who also doesn't use them lol. This one though I bought specifically because I had very dry skin on my arms inparticular. It cost me £4.28 for a large 200ml tub size in Boots (and this is a product that is widely ... more

Whether for tired hands, dry skin or painful sunburn, everyone needs to carry a multi-purpose cream with them! I never forget to leave home without Nivea Soft in my bag - it's an absolute essential. Nivea has always been a firm favourite with me, because it's cheap and reliable. It's not fashionable, but for such low prices and great quality, does it really matter? Their Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Creme had been advertised so much that I decided to give into the hype. And I wasn't disappointed! It isn't easy on the eye - it comes in a plain white plastic tube with minimal navy writing ... more

Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Cream I recently got a sample of this moisturising cream in a pamper pack for during pregnancy. **WHAT IS IT** Nivea soft is a moisturising cream for everyday use. You can use it on your face, hands and body. It will leave your skin feeling more soft and moisturised. It also will leave your skin is more supple and invigorated. It has Jojoba oil and Vitamin E in it. **PACKAGING** I got this moisturising cream as a sample in one of my pregnancy packs, so it was small plastic tub with a foil label on it that I received. It had the Nivea Soft logo on it, which is ... more

Advantages Advantages leave skin smooth and soft, better as a night time moisturiser

Disadvantages Disadvantages is a little heavy for daytime wear

I thought I'd give Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Cream a try, as I fancied a change from the usual baby lotion I use. Also Nivea has been around for a such a long time the brand can be trusted. Don't be put off by the packaging as it looks a bit boring - the brand speaks for itself. Nivea Soft is available in a 75ml tube costing around £1.99, 200ml tub for £2.75 and a 300 ml tub for £5.75. The packaging is quite simple and is all white other than the blue Nivea Soft logo. There is no information printed on the tub other than it's name, it's to be used on face, body and hands and contains ... more

A giant sufferer of dry skin all over my body, I was desperate to find something which would satisfy my thirsty skin. I have tried many different brands, ranging from Dove to Jergens Naturals, but thought that the last time I bought moisturiser, I would revert back to a basic brand which I knew was a good household name, and not to be sniffed at, and so into my basket dropped Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Cream. A little round pot of goodness, it is now a staple part of my daily routine, and it comes away with me every time I tour the UK, for fear that my body will get upset and itchy if I ... more
