☼Are your children safe?☼

Advantages: It is fun to use
Disadvantages: Expensive

...looking for suncream, I spotted Nivea Childrens Sun Spray, with an SPF of 30 and a UVA protection 3 (out of 4). The blue bottle caught my eye, with a cartoon child on the front. It claims that the cream is coloured, but the colour disappears when the cream is rubbed in. It is also water resistant, although you do have to reapply after swimming. At £9.99 for 200ml it is really expensive, but under the circumstances, it had to be worth a try. It is ...
...When you get a high SPF, they seem to forget about the UVB protection, so this is pretty good. This bottle has a pump, so the liquid squirts onto you child’s skin. It comes out green, which my son was fascinated by. Instead of trying to rub it off, he wanted to see the green liquid disappear! It rubs in quickly and easily, which is great, as it doesn’t take long to apply over his whole body. I also found the shape of the bottle quite handy as my ...

Safety in the sun in two quick squirts!

Advantages: Easy to apply, smells, nice, high level of protection
Disadvantages: Have to be careful not to get it on your clothes.

...Last year I chose a Nivea sunblock for her and basically kept her out of the direct sun. She started walking some six months ago, and loves to run out in the garden. It’s going to be impossible to keep her out of the sun all the time, and rather mean too! I want her to enjoy the sun, but safely. I’ve been doing a little research on the internet, and one of the more surprising things I’ve learned is that getting severe sunburn once in your child hood ...
...Boots. I ended up choosing Nivea coloured children’s sun spray at £9.99 for 200ml. This was because I found it reasonably priced, it is a trusted brand, water resistant, a coloured spray so you can see where you have put it and it had a very handy shape to the bottle. The bottle is a fantastic shape. The bottle is contoured to fit your fingers. I found this very useful as once you get sun cream on your hands they become slippery and it can be difficult ...

Dont let your baby burn!

Advantages: Cream works, coloured to ensure full coverage
Disadvantages: Pump spray clogs quickly

...or anything else nasty. Nivea children’s sun spray is designed to protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays. UVA/UVB UVB rays harm the skin's surface and are the primary cause of sunburn more penetrating UVA rays damage collagen and elastin, resulting in signs of premature aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, age spots, broken capillaries and uneven skin tone. UVB rays are mainly present in the summer months when the sun is at its closest ...
...can also be seen in Nivea Moisturizing sun lotion review by Piggypine) Nivea Childrens Sun Spray- The sun spray comes in a bright blue plastic bottle with a green pump spray top and opaque cap, the top unscrews allowing you to get larger amounts of the spray out (which is handy, I’ll explain later) The cream itself is green allowing you to see where the cream has been sprayed before it gradually fades, this allows you to ensure all areas of your ...

Nivea Sun Childrens Sun Spray

Advantages: water resistant, coloured initially, easy grip bottle, smells nice, works well, easy to apply
Disadvantages: runs out fast, slightly too runny, stains white clothing

...brother on our holiday. Nivea is a brand that I have always used and never had a problem with, so when I saw that tescos were selling two 200ml spray bottles for just £10, I brought this factor 40 kids product for my bother and a bottle of nivea sun spray factor 20 for the rest of us. As soon as we were at our hotel in Crete my brother wanted to be in the pool so it seemed the ideal time to test the water resistance of the sun spray as well as ...
...pump action spray top. The bottle is made from plastic and has 5 grooves on each side which helps you grip the bottle with wet hands. Thee spray was nice and easy to apply, didn't smell of anything other than the 'nivea scent' and was just a case of shaking the bottle, depressing the pump button while aimed at the skin (avoiding eyes of course!). When first applied to the skin, the spray is a green colour which disappears once rubbed in. We found ...

HULK!

Advantages: Children won't moan when applying - its green
Disadvantages: quite costly

My little one is a sun lover, he will spend hours outside if he could. Of course as a mum you worry constantly so i needed a good sun protection. However as my son is 2 he wasn't having any of it until i found the 'hulk spray' as he calls it, now we can apply as needed and we are both happy. This spray has SPF 30 and UVA protection 3(out of four), both very good although for very young children i'd use a higher factor. The packaging is really well ...
...sides are contoured to fit the fingers, very good for when you have slippery and sandy hands. And more importantly it appeals to my beast. Its bright blue, with a cartoon child snorkelling on the front. The liquid itself goes on green (hence the Hulk!) but the colour only lasts for a few minutes much to olivers disgust! It is very runny but i suppose that is necessary to get it out of the pump. You need to spray the liquid on (about three pumps ...

Great protection for your little ones!

Advantages: Excellent sun protection and the kids love it!
Disadvantages: Quite costly

...cream I used last year... Nivea Sun Childrens Sun Spray! Now, what made me choose this in the first place last year? Initially, the colourful and appealing bottle draw my attention! I knew that when applying cream to the kids I needed to be able to get the lotion out without much fuss; the grooves in the bottle and the easy to use pump action appeared to make that quite easy. Also, the 'Nivea' name, a well known brand that has been around for years ...
...I could trust. Reading the bottle a little closer I noticed that it had a green tint to it - great for my little monster who at the time adored everything to do with the Hulk! Also, it was on special offer at the time too! I can't remember exactly how much I paid, but I think it was in the £6 region! Now, that was a bargain, but I'm yet to find it again for such a low price! Seeing as we live near many beaches I knew it wouldn't be long before we ...

Kid friendly sun cream

Advantages: Kids don't scream at the sight of the bottle!!
Disadvantages: Doesn't come out of your clothes very well.

...I'd taken enough of the Nivea to last the whole holiday. In cuba for the 1st week of our holiday both my 3 and 1 year old managed to enjoy the pool and surrounding areas in full sun for a good 4-5 hours without getting sunburnt (not even slightly pink). However after that we ran out and went onto Boots soltan version and they were pink from then on even when reapplied every hour. Towards the end of the week we were having to keep them out of the ...
...them burning even though only slightly. I have also tried Avon and Piz Buin brands and the same was found - definitely not as effective. The fact that it comes in a spray bottle is also a great help. The cream itself comes out as quite a thin creamy liquid that is a BLUEY GREEN colour. This helps you to see where you are putting it. The fact that is quite a thin liquid also helps you to spread it on well too. The colour does dissappear when the ...

Quick review of Nivea Sun Childrens Sun Spray

I purchased the Childrens Sun Spray due to the high factor of 30 and of the colour of the spray for my boy. I began using it for myself and I can swear by it, no sunburn and my boy is the same. Remember to keep applying the lotion. Please look for deals on the lotion, as I find Boots always offer buy 1 get 1 free for the lotion. ...
