Advantages: Controls shine, great value, small cute pot Disadvantages: Not so great at moisturising
...The one I chose was Nivea Visage Oil Free Moisturising Fluid. I've already used and liked a lot of Nivea's products and they are good value too which always helps! I was attracted to this one from the statement 'oil free' as my nan has always advised me to look for this to help combat my shiny skin. This seemed like the best and most affordable product for me on the shelf so I picked it up hoping that it would do wonders. It comes in a small and ... ...offer in Boots on selected Nivea facial skincare products so I'm definitely going to head down to Boots to pick up a few more of these and see what else the brand has on offer. This is by far the best moisturising cream that I have come across (and I've used a few). It does exactly what it says on the pot and is perfect for those with combination or shiny skin. ...

...be time-consuming!
I found Nivea Visage Oil-Free Moisturising Fluid in my local branch of Boots. It cost a reasonable £3.72 for 100ml. I felt this was good value for money as even a 100ml bottle or pot of moisturiser usually lasts me at least 6 months if not longer. I don't let packaging influence my decision when buying toiletries or cosmetics, but the lotion is presented nicely in a white bottle with a slightly translucent blue lid, which in turn ... ...common with most of the Nivea skin care products. It has a 'thin' texture which hints at a nice non-greasy moisturiser. As instructed, I massaged the lotion into my face using an upward circular motion. The product wasn't especially quickly absorbed, which disappointed me a little, and I didn't think my complexion looked especially matte afterwards. However, my skin did feel moisturised. I applied foundation and powder as usual. As I was doing so, ...

Some moisturising creams can be too heavy and tend to sometimes just sit on your skin, and are not very easily absorbed. Some are far too thick and greasy and always clog pores and cause spots. I, unfortunately, have had too many of these. I was just about to give up trying other products, and get a friend with the same skin type to recommend something, but then i tried this. This moisturising fluid is oil free but still manages to hydrate the skin. ... ...give moisture to your skin. In fact it is quite different. It creates a barrier which stops moisture being lost from your skin, which means that oil is not necessary, other ingredients create a barrier just as effectively. This moisturiser contains a combination if allanton and witch hazel which creates a barrier which will hydrate your skin but without clogging your pores. This makes it especially useful for oily skin as it wont add to your natural ...

I really feel that Nivea should re-categorise this fluid in to their oily skin range as I'm sure that this would be great for helping 'dry' out or combat shiny, greasy areas. If this had been in the oily skin range I wouldn't have tried it as I just don't have that skin type.
After an hour or so, I actually washed it off my face and applied my trustworthy E45 ...

...I liked until I tried NIVEA Oil Free Moisturising Fluid.
I use this morning and evening and it has really made a difference to the complex of my skin. So much so that a number of people recently have told me how healthy I look - something which has never happened before.

*The Ingredients*
This is a difficult one! The bottle comes in a box (which I have thrown away) and I am not sure whether the ingredients are printed on the box. All that is printed on the bottle is that it contains Witch Hazel and Allantoin.
If you are allergic to any particular ingredients that may be in this I advise you check the box ...

Nivea visage have produced an effective oil free facial moisturiser that manages to feel light and softening without causing excess shine..
The fluid comes in a white bottle, with white lid, with silver trim. The usual nivea visage symbol on the front in a blue and navy square. It is recommended for daily use. The bottle is 100ml and with daily use on face and neck areas, lasts a couple of months or more.

...vain!) and was recommended the Nivea Visage Oil Regulating Fluid by a lovely sales assistant. Since it was so cheap (S$7 Singapore dollars, which works out to 3 GPD max?), I decided to take the plunge. I’ve been using it every day since for nearly 2 months now, and it’s been fantastic!
AT FIRST GLANCE
Initially, I thought the moisturiser looked cheap. The packaging is typical of a drugstore brand – a rather translucent white plastic casing, with ... ...a silver lining. The square Nivea Visage logo is proudly displayed as the focus of the design on the front of the bottle, while the back of the bottle is a mess of tiny wordings resembling ants. It appeared to scream “drugstore brand!”, which isn’t very impressive.
However, though cheap, Nivea appears to be a solid brand that researches thoroughly into its products. According to the description at the back of the bottle, the Oil Regulating Fluid ...

I’ve been using Nivea oil free moisturising fluid for years. I don’t remember how I came to start using it, but before this I tried a number of different products that were either too greasy for my skin or clogged my pores up. I usually use it twice a day in the morning and evening. I don’t use nivea cleanser along with it, as despite what advertisers will have you believe, you don’t need to use the whole product range to get good results.
It cost about £4.75 for 100ml which is a reasonable price for a moisturiser, I think it’s good ...

Advantages: light and good as a base Disadvantages: can be greasy
I tried this Nivea Visage partly because of the price-for a reputable brand it is very reasonable and lasts a lot longer than some more expensive moisturisers that are not as good.
It has a very light feel when applied and is surprisingly easily absorbed for its consistency. It is so light in fact, that it feels almost watery, but what it lack in first impressions it makes up for in first application.
It makes a really smooth base for foundation ... ...is not to be liberally applied as a little goes a long way and if too much is applied the skin can retain a greasy feel for a while.
It is unperfumed, which is good, as perfumed face products always make me a little wary of the chemicals I am putting on my face. Nothing fancy about the packaging either but is very good value as it lasted me ages. It is good as an everyday moisturiser as it is not heavy like some and is suitable for many different ...

...fiver.
I picked up Nivea Visage oil free moisturising fluid. 100ml and cost about 4.99. It comes in a pretty non-descript white bottle with the blue nivea visage logo. The top of the bottle has a small hole so you don't end up wasting loads each time you use it.
The moisturiser itself is a white, light non greasy fluid and it has a faint smell similar to baby powder which isn't too offensive.
What it promises?
"INSTANT MOISTURE - with Allanton ... ...like some of the other nivea moisturisers do.
"UV FILTERS & VITAMIN E - helps reduce signs of premature ageing" - As I travel alot and am currently in Australia I need a moisturiser that contains sunscreens and helps protect me against the harsh Australian sun.
In my opinion this is a good moisturiser for young skins and helps moisturise without making it greasy. It is reasonably priced and a good allround product. ...

Advantages: No 'blotting' required before applying make up Disadvantages: May not be enough for very dry skin
...a relatively new user of Nivea Visage products I was drawn to this one by its description “For A Natural Shine Free Complexion”. Added to the fact it boasts Vitamin E & UV Filters, to help reduce the signs of ageing. I thought it sounded worth a try. I doubt I’ll try another moisturiser again because I loved it.
Being relatively inexpensive, compared to other moisturisers, it gives instant moisture to the skin, using Allantoin ... ...you can feel the refreshing and moisturising benefits straight away. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quickly it was absorbed. Previous moisturisers I have used have either needed time to ‘soak in’ or blotting with a tissue before applying make up, but with this I can apply make up straight away.
As for the “Natural Shine Free Complexion”, I personally didn’t think that was possible with a moisturiser, but it ...

The fluid has a light fragrance to it, which smells nice. However, it needs quite a lot to properly moisturise your skin, and it doesn't ... ...some time massaging it in, which often takes a while. For a product that claims to be "Quickly absorbed", I was not impressed.

A few minutes after I've applied it, my skin feels nice and soft, and well moisturised. It claims to "provide essential moisture for your skin whilst keeping your complexion shine free". However, after a couple of hours my skin no longer feels moisturised or soft. You could say that it removed shine, but it ...

This moisturising fluid works really well to keep your skin feeling soft and fresh all day long. You can use it a base for make-up, or alone, and either way you will feel the effect it has on your skin.
Unlike a lot of creams I’ve tried in the past, this one doesn’t leave my face shiny. It works well to give it your complexion a matt finish, and it stays like that all day. Also, this product is suitable to use on any skin type, so if you skin changes ...

...products. I've used the 'ordinary' nivea moisturiser on and off since childhood so this one - oil free moisturising fluid with witch hazel & allantoin (couldn't tell you what that is!) seemed to fit the bill.

...dry skin. I always believed Nivea to be a quality producer of skin care products so thats why I went out and bought this. At first I was woried about whether a moisturiser would make me break out or not. I can safely say that this moisturiser has not caused me any more spots and if anything has helped my skin get clearer by keeping it healthy.
The moisturiser goes on very light and it doesn't take a lot to cover your whole face. It absorbs really ... ...clean and refreshed.
I find that is also reduces shine, if you have a shiny or oily face then this moisturiser will actually mattify the shine and give you a more even complexion.
The only one downside that it has would be that it isn't very intensly moisturising. If your face is really dry then you make need something else. Sometimes I find when my face is dry I have to apply this a few times throughout the day to keep it from drying up. I supose ...
