******INTRO****** The Nokia 3200 is a new phone that was made in 2003. It is not like most of Nokia's new phones with megapixel cameras thats more like a portable PC, which means that it is new and stylish for teenagers who can't afford really expensive phones. It's unique 'create your own covers' also appeal to teenagers. ******MAIN FEATURES****** Intregated camera Built in torch Enhanced WAP (GPRS) Triband compatable (depends on network) Java games (Bounce, Virtual Me) Can download new java games and applications Polyphonic ringtones 1.1mb shared memory Multimedia messaging Infrared Voice ... more

Advantages Advantages small & lightweight, camera, radio

Disadvantages Disadvantages fiddly buttons, difficult to find replacement covers

I received my Nokia 3200 as an upgrade from Singlepoint (at Phones4U). I tend to stick to Nokia phones as they are easier to use and I know them. I couldn't wait to finally have a phone with a camera! Well I have to say I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of the pictures it took and the difficulty in focusing them. Trying to get my baby granddaughter to smile is one thing, getting her in focus and smiling at the same time.......The screen is obviously coloured, but not very good quality. The ringtones were a bit of a disappointment too, but I managed (or rather my son managed) to find ... more

I have owned a Nokia 3200 for over a year now, after I got it free when I started a new contract with vodafone. I knew nothing about the phone when I got it apart from it having a camera – which was a novelty, as my old one didn’t have one!! The first thing I noticed about this phone was how it looks, because it has see through plastic covers, which have colourful covers underneath that can easily be changed. This is really cool, as with the phone you receive 3 different colours; blue, red and green and you also receive blank covers, so you can make your own covers with pictures that take – ... more

    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Reliable, easy to use, torch, camera, size, easy to personalise

    Disadvantages Disadvantages photo quality

This is a really practical, easy to use little phone. It’s about 4” long and ¾” deep by 1 ½” wide. It’s instantly recognisable as a Nokia, and isn’t a particularly ‘flash’ looking phone. It is just as robust and reliable as the other Nokia’s I’ve owned - mine has survived unscathed a night outdoors when I dropped it while walking! The reception quality of the phone seems to be good - you either have a signal or not, there's no crackling or breaking up when you're talking, and as we live in a hilly, country area this is especially useful. The rocker style buttons take a wee while to get used to ... more

Advantages Advantages innovative design, robust, design your own covers, torch, lots of choice on display settings

Disadvantages Disadvantages camera quality can be a bit fuzzy

I bought this phone about 18 months ago after my old phone had a drink spilt on it (also a nokia and it was still hanging on, they seem to last forever!). I bought it because at the time it was one of the cheapest pay as you go phones with its features on the market, it cost £100 whereas other colour screen phones with camera, decent memory capacity etc where nearer £150. The phone is a "candybar" style and a good size and weight, according to the handbook it's 45.1mm x 107.5 mm x 20.8 mm and weighs 90g. I find it easy to hold to talk and text on and it fits nicely into even quite small bags ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages got to get use to buttons, battery life

My sister gave me this phone, for free!! as she brought a new one. So i was expecting this phone to be rubbish, with useless features, which i would never use. But i was wrong, this phone is brilliant, its ideal for anyone! It has everything, from a camera, to a torch! First of all, the advantages, it includes, a camera, which has a built in night mode, a 10 second timer, 2 quality options (high, normal, and basic), and the phone display is used as a viewfinder, and thats just the camera!!!! The phone also includes, FM radio, torch (bottom of phone), downloadable games (2 games included ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages picture quality and memory storage

The nokia 3200 in my opinion, is one of the most stylish & funky phones i have had the pleasure of using! I brought this phone about a year ago and its still going strong. It is very popular for secondary school children obviously because you can change its cover and its everything a child could want for a resonable price! Anyone would appreciate this phone but i do not recommend it if you want good camera quality or a lot of meomory storage e.g. messages, games etc Im not saying the camera is not good quality, it takes pictures in colour but i have seen better quality pictures. The radio is a ... more

Advantages Advantages Large Colour Screen, Camera, Radio, Torch

Disadvantages Disadvantages No stopwatch, Buttons may be tricky for some

Well what can I say...this phone is superb. The Nokia 3200 has a wide range of features, including a camera, a radio, a very good calendar, voice recorder, infrared data transfer... The list goes on, but I think the best thing about the features is not how fancy they sound, but how well they have been designed. The calendar is excellent, and allows you to plan your life easily, and with the push of a button you can see what you've got planned this month. The radio allows 20 preset stations to be set, and can be played through the loudspeaker in the handset (although the headphone will still ... more

    Advantages Advantages lots of features

    Disadvantages Disadvantages bit old

This is one of those phones that shaped the era of phones it has some of today’s phones features. It has infrared, camera, memory, good battery and a radio. First the infrared it is good at receiving data from anything but it only works transmitting when it is perfectly still. The camera isn’t great to today’s standards but at least it has one. The memory is all internal and is quite good, not brilliant. It will hold lots of low resolution pictures and a few songs. The battery is brilliant it will last for a week if not used continuously. The radio picks up a lot of stations ... more
