Built to last

Advantages: Smart, small and loads of features
Disadvantages: Screen fades sometimes (this might only be my model)

I know that the Nokia 3210 is getting a little bit old, but I still consider it to be one of the best phones on the market, the Nokia 3210 is a great mobile phone. There are so many features which other mobiles lack, which I believe makes this phone really good value for money, you could pick one up for around £70 now. I've had mine for over 14 months now, I originally began on the orange network, and have been consistently impressed, and I wanted ...
...the phone much. Like most Nokia phones, the battery life is considerably longer than other manufacturers' phones. Sound quality is also remarkably good. There are three simple games; Rotation, Memory and snake, I generally only play on snake as I find the other two games boring and hard, for those of you who have never played snake, the game is very simple and can entertain you on a long journey for hours on end (but I am easily amused) I have to ...

...to read his messages. The Nokia 3210 has very few buttons which are; the number pad (obviously), the two scrolling buttons, the button with a "c" on it (cancel) and the big button in the middle which is like a select button. The phone book is able to store 99 names and numbers so that if you don't want to dial a number every time or you haven't got a very good memory you can just scroll down and find a number or if you have too many you can search ...

The phone book also has the option of assigning a tone to a particular person so you know who it is who is phoning you or if it is someone you don't like you can assign "no tone" to their number so you won't be disturbed by them. The predictive text input is probably one of the best functions of this phone. You only need to press each key once, regardless of which letter you want because once you have typed in the whole word it comes ...

The Right Upgrade For Me

Advantages: Sensible size with availability of very affordable, excellent hands-free car kit
Disadvantages: In appearance beginning to look a little dated.

I bought my Nokia 3210 six months ago when I needed to replace my old faithful Nokia 3110 which had finally died after 3 years heavy use. Instead of telling you about all the features of the phone, such as how many ringing tones, how many games, its weight, its settings, etc. which have been elaborated on in great detail in the many other Opinions on this phone, I'd rather just tell you why I bought it and how it has lived up to my expectations. ...
...was able to upgrade my Nokia 3110 to the 3210 free of charge - that's a good enough selling point in itself but still its only point 1. Now I could have dipped into my pocket on upgrading and bought a more 'modern' looking phone but chose not to do so because of my next point. 2) I could have upgraded my phone earlier but I waited until I was replacing my car. As I drive extensively in my job I had bought an 'all singing, all dancing' hands-free ...

HELLO....I AM ON MY MOBILE

Advantages: It does everything it needs to
Disadvantages: Others do more

The Nokia 3210. The master of the ringtone. The phone that spawned a million web site ready to charge you £1 a tone and £1 a logo. Why is this phone so damn popular? I know that when I got mine I was after a phone that had gimmicks. I used to have a Bosch Brick that had a few ringtones and that was it. I wanted more. Why should my friends be able to play snake on the bus when I cannot even search my phonebook to send a text message? I did not care ...
...a fun phone and the Nokia 3210 is what I got. This is a lightweight phone compared to those that were around when the 3210 first appeared on the market. Nowadays the 3310 and many others beat it. (I believe that Siemens have actually just released a phone that is so light that it can be carried by a flea but has ten times the features and memory of any other phone in its class!) But in its day it was a world beater. The features it has are great. ...

Text messaging-Ok, all phones have this none but it can be done quickly and easily. With a good sized keypad, fast reload times for typing the same key twice, and extra symbols at the touch of a button, it could not be easier. 2. Look-This is a beautiful phone. Not as small and ...

Most parts of the country are now in range of a receiver, so it should be ok. 4. Extras-Ever thought 'how can I get a ringtone as annoying as that person's over there?' Simple, buy and download one. Almost any ringtone is now easily available, costing only a few pounds. Or, www.boltblue.com offers them for free, ...

PERFECT VALUE FOR MONEY.

Advantages: offers the best value for money
Disadvantages: a bit dated

...really nice features. So, my Nokia 3210 is exactly what I need. Then I first saw this model in a catalogue of mobile phones, I almost immediately fell in love with it. I still think that this phone is one of the best designed cell phones ever. But those days this model was quite expensive (that was year 2000), so I had to wait. Those days I was using a Motorola flip phone which was… very, very simple. And awkward as well. But in 2002 I was finally ...
...to explain why I consider Nokia 3210 the perfect value for money I paid. THE PHONE ITSELF As I mentioned earlier, I think the design of the phone is just excellent. Only Nokia 8210 maybe looks better, but it’s too small. So that was the main reason why I purchased 3210. The keypad is very adequate, and the backlight is just perfect! There are 12 numeric buttons, two scroll keys, c key (which is used for cancelling actions, exiting the menu and ...

...elegantly shaped. The Nokia 3210 is actually one of the cheaper handsets available on most networks at the moment. On One 2 One, the Nokia 3210 is a measly £19.99, and only cost me £4.99 when I traded in my 'brick' (Nokia 1610). The phone is very slim on the bottom half and slightly wider at the top where the screen is (see accompanying logo). It only has 3 buttons in addition to the regular numeric keypad, in keeping with the sleek stylish look. ...
...The fronts of the Nokia 3210's are interchangeable and are very widely available for around £5. This means that you can personalise your phone to whatever colour or pattern you desire. Personally, I think my phone came with the best cover, it is a brushed steel effect and really is my ideal colour and texture. All the numbers etc on the buttons appear black, but as usual on a mobile phone, they light up green when you use the phone. The Nokia ...

The good old reliable Nokia

Advantages: see op
Disadvantages: see op

The Nokia 3210 is less popular now due to the smaller lighter 8210 and the more modern 3310. However it is still popular as it is mostly free on contract and still has pretty good features. The phone is a dual band GSM 900/1800 so you can use the phone in most other countries throughout the world, apart from the States and Canada, which have a GSM 1900 system. There is the usual range of annoying rings that you can pick, however they're not all ...
...charge it everyday. Like most Nokia phones, the battery life is considerably longer than other phones. The 3210 comes with a "predictive text" feature which attempts to work out which word you're typing when writing text messages, with you pressing each button once per letter instead of cycling through several options for each individual letter. I know some people find this useful but it really bugs me. I don't use it at all. The dictionary is very ...

Advantages: great phone, easy to use!
Disadvantages: no vibrating alert!

My first phone was the Nokia 5110 which i bought about 2 years ago now but i upgraded to the 3210 after my brothers 16th birthday bash last year when a number of phones went missing!! I was sent a voucher from the insurance company but decided to pay the extra to upgrade to the 3210! Some of these can be quite expensive at anywhere up to £20 but the prices have dropped ...

The keypad is nicely spaced out, and the keys are great for simplicity and for texting. ...

...mobile phone on contract, a Nokia 3210. Now, as I have already renewed my contract and am on the verge of receiving a new, more advanced Siemens phone, I would like to take this opportunity to write a small tribute to the phone that has served me extremely well over the last 12 months. As far as features is concerned, it is not that much different from earlier Nokia phones. A few added bonuses include the ability to compose your own ringtones, and ...

However, their quality is often dubious at best (i.e. hardly recognizable), and you might not even be able to find a personal favorite. The phone's shape is a great improvement over earlier Nokias. More streamlined, far less bulky, it tends to fit easier into your pocket. The buttons no longer stick out as much, and no longer look like they are about to ...

The Nokia 3210

Advantages: Slim and easy to use
Disadvantages: The plastic cases aren't very strong and durable

The Nokia 3210 is a slim attractive phone with an aerial built inside it. One of its exterior features is the interchangable front and back covers. These cost from about £20 and come in many different colours and patterns. Another exterior feature is the keypad, which can also be changed. If you buy a front and back cover, it normally has a keypad with it, but you can also buy the keys separately for about £4. The phone is available on pay as you ...

I got a 3210 last year and have been extremely pleased with it. It is a stylish and attractive little phone, not too big, not too small. Just fits snugly in the palm of your hand. It comes in a nice blue cover which makes it slightly more interesting (better than boring grey) but you can get different snap on covers for it.
