Advantages Advantages simple to use and fairly good features

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not the latest features though

This phone was already registered when it was bought so it saved me the hassle of ringing T-Mobile to register it! All I had to do was put the SIM card in, insert the battery and put the back cover on! This is all fairly simple to do. With the phone you also get a charger and a handbook, which tells you everything about the phone. My Nokia 3410 is a pay as you go mobile where you buy top up cards to avoid getting into lots of debt! You can also get a contract phone where you get a monthly bill. * On The Menu * There are 11 headings on the phones main menu – Messages, Call Register ... more

Advantages Advantages Predictive text, Ringtone Composer, changeable fascias and it VIBRATES

Disadvantages Disadvantages none that I can think of right now

I've had this phone for about a year now and I'm in love with it! Its easy to use, has loads of features and above all it even vibrates! When I got this phone it came free of charge as part of a special offer when my mam renewed her contract with vodafone. My mam didn't want it so I became it's lucky new owner! To buy the phone on a pay as you go package it'll usually set you back between £79.99 and £109.99 depending on which service provider you choose. The phone itself is a mint greeny colour and is quite similar to the 3310 in shape but maybe slightly larger. Nokia has gone for a slightly ... more

Advantages Advantages Reliable, simple to use, good buttons

Disadvantages Disadvantages Small b&w screen, not very gadgety

I bought the Nokia 3410 a year and a quarter ago (15 months ago) and it's still going strong. I have the barest amount of stratches, no bugs or glitches with the electrical side of things despite one mishap involving melted chocolate, the battery has lasted well (its Li-ion battery lasts a long time if you look after it - the main thing to remember is to recharge the phone when it reaches one bar, not before). Anyway. I got this at Argos, T-mobile pay-as-you-go deal, at about £60. You can probably get this a lot cheaper now, although about 6 months ago I did see a shop try and flog the 3410 ... more

Advantages Advantages good range of features, nice looks

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not any noticeable disadvantages

Having lived off the nokia 3330 model from quite some time I was eager to get my hands on the new model and was impressed when i got it. The size of the phone is pretty much the same as the 3310 or 3330. It has a good size screen and keypad which is very good because it is always easy to see what you are doing and texts are easy to send without fumbling. The phone comes with a very large range of features and games. The games include snake 2, space impact, bamtumi, link 5 and bumper. The more recent pinball game bumper is not in the same league as snake 2 or space impact but you can still have ... more

Advantages Advantages nice design, original features, changeable facias

Disadvantages Disadvantages sometimes crashes, switches self off, battery is getting old

This is my review of the Nokia 3410 mobile phone. Christmas 2003, my phone is old, it’s a brick, its an embarrassment but to be honest despite all this I was still shocked to find a brand new Nokia 3410 underneath the tree. I was really happy with my new phone, but I didn’t know much about this model and to be honest prior to writing this review couldn’t have told you the model number because I don’t pay much attention to these minor details, although it would be a good idea to start trying as it makes life easier when purchasing new facia’s or getting said phone fixed. Aaaaaanyway! Ive had ... more

Another nokia on the market but is it worth the hassle of upgrading? Well the answer is yes! In this opinion im going to tell you what features it has and aslo put in capitals the new features from its predecessor the 3330. internal; sms; Within this feature available on most mobile phones you can send messages from 10p -12p depending on what company you are with. This is the new phenomenon. With this phone you have 459 characters available to send a longer message sort of making the name short messaging service irrelevant. The number of messages that you can save on your phone depends on what ... more

Advantages Advantages I can make and receive calls

Disadvantages Disadvantages No idea what all the other stuff is for

There are things in the world that are beyond me. The mobile phone is one of these. Although I have owned one for five years, and I am now on my fourth, I have probably only received 50 calls in this time and made even less. But I like them. I like getting new ones. And I like Carphone Warehouse, as they always give me the impression of not ripping me off. Unlike certain other mobile retailers. Word of advice though - check yor home contents insurance. Mine covers mobile phones up to £500 and calls up to £25. You probably DO NOT NEED TO BUY EXTRA INSURANCE IN THE SHOP! Anyway, after asking me ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, good standby time

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not as light as some, not most up to date model

In September 2002, I lost my mobile phone, and I called Vodaphone to tell them that I would not be renewing my contract as I did not have a phone. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me that they could offer me a free phone at renewal, and the phone on offer at that time was a Nokia 3410. I was really relieved that I did not have to go and buy another phone, and I accepted their offer immediately, but when I had time to think about it, I thought I had done the wrong thing. The phone I lost was a Nokia 3210, and I really wanted a smaller model, something like an 8210. The 3410 was a ... more

Advantages Advantages very cheap well bought on a contract, lots of features

Disadvantages Disadvantages keys slightly smaller/fiddlier than previous similar models.

Today’s retail therapy exercise was to pick up a phone for a friend who is due to arrive in Austria on Monday and needed sorting out with a mobile. How I managed to wangle someone who hasn’t been registered with the police for three months with a contract phone won’t be revealed in this op. I went for the Nokia 3410, as it was available for free on the One network with the EveryOne calling plan (see my op on Connect One Austria for details!) although I have seen that off contract you can expect to shell out a fair amount (approximately 150 quid, although obviously there are cheaper deals ... more
