...above are all quoted from Nokia but in practice they are pretty accurate. The charge time in particular is spot on although I'm still in the habit of leaving the phone connected to the charger overnight, a throwback from my Phillips phone when I had to charge it for that long! I find the phone lasts for around a week between charges, not bad considering it is in use everyday for calls and messages. The standby figure is the only one I cannot say ...

A brilliant easy to use robust phone from Nokia

Advantages: Good value, robust, simple to use
Disadvantages: May not have enough 'advanced features' for some.

Nokia 3510i Overview The Nokia 3510i is Nokia’s replacement to the Popular 3310\3330 range and was released at a similar time to the 3410. The 3510 was originally released with a monochrome screen but the current 3510i has a colour screen. This phone then is just a basic entry-level phone for people that just want something cheap, easy to use and reliable. It has all the key features you would expect from a modern phone like Wap, GPRS, MMS Picture ...
...This menu is the typical nokia text message menu with a few additions. You get ‘Text’ ‘Multimedia’ ‘Chat’ and ‘Voice’ with help text that explains each setting if you need it. In ‘text’ you have the normal Create, Inbox etc but also get ‘Archive’ which allows you to store messages in folders and sent items so you can see what you have sent. It is easy to move messages around although I have found that sent items takes up a lot of the message memory ...

"The choice" for those who want ease and value.

Advantages: Wide range of features and easy to use
Disadvantages: Maybe a bit too bulky

The Nokia 3510i is a phone that I bought because it was one of the cheapest phones available and had such a wide range of features and plus points. The phone may not be the smallest in the world but it's extremely good for the price you pay for it and the screen is in colour! For so long I have tried to avoid the trend that everyone has a Nokia phone but in the end I just couldn't resist! It just had so many advantages that I couldn't refuse and ...
...so proceeded to buy the Nokia 3510i. FEATURES FOUND IN THIS AND MOST NOKIA PHONES: The layout of this phone is the same as most Nokia phones. In the menu it displays one item per screen with an illustration of each item in the menu, i.e an envelope for the messages option. The operator signal is displayed up the left side of the main screen and the battery life is displayed up the right side of the main screen. You can then use the left and right ...

The games already on the 3510i are:- Backgammon, Racket and Sky Diver. i have never played them, so i can't honestly describe them unfortunately. The phone has 300kb of memory, 150 of which is already used for pre-installed games. The 3510i can be used in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and Turkish. i must admit my phone is often in Spanish - its a great ...
...You can recieve picture / multimedia messages, but you may need to view them on the website of the network of the person who sent the message. This means, if your friend is on T-Mobile, for example, and sends a picture message to your Virgin 3510, for example, you may need to go on either the website of the your phone's netwoek or your friend's phone's network to view the message. If u get that, lol! It has a standby time of 13 days. This is how ...

Its basically a instant messenging system but you pay the standard text price for each message you send. You can imagine this can cost alot of credit in the long run. This phone has got to be one of the most simple to have been produced by Nokia with an easy menu interface which is similar to the Nokia 3310 or 3330. My new little gem

Advantages: It’s a Nokia, easy to use, sounds great, colour screen, good battery life.
Disadvantages: Styling of the phone itself may not be to everyone’s tastes.

...to upgrade from my current Nokia 3330 to the Sharp would cost in the region of £200. After looking through various other phones and saying ‘how much’ repeatedly to the salesman, I settled on a brand new Nokia 3510i for the princely upgrade fee of £20. I should clear this up now, the £20 is very dependent upon what your current tariff and service provider can offer. It may be more, it may be less. I bought my upgrade from the mobile phone ...
...about 5mm than my existing Nokia 3330. The actual dimensions of the phone are 118x49.6x17.1mm and the website quotes a volume of 98 cubic centimteres, though why you would actually need this volume information defeats me. The unit itself with a standard battery in place weighs only 106 grams and feels a lot lighter than previous phones I have had. The colours of the phone I was given do leave a little to be desired and almost put me off buying it. ...

Nokia 3510i on Orange PAYG

Advantages: Value for money, colour screen, good battery life
Disadvantages: Slightly larger than many new phones

This was my third attempt at buying a satisfactory phone (the previous two having been on Virgin Mobile, whose network proved highly unsatisfactory using two of this handset's rivals, the Panasonic GD67 and Motorola C350). I have overall been very pleased with my final purchase on Orange. The phone is fairly light weight (around 100g), has a very clear 4096 colour screen with intuitively usable menus, and well spaced large buttons which make for ...
...is a little larger and heavier than many similarly specified handsets but not awkwardly so. The phone has good polyphonic and standard ringtones, WAP, and GPRS (although I haven't tried this). The battery life is good (I can't verify the 13 days standby quoted in the manual but certainly I'd expect to get a week of light use (mainly text messaging, games and a few calls to WAP). Reception is good, though sometimes fluctuates substantially (by 3 or ...

Great Phone, Great Features

Advantages: Excellent Features, Long Battery Life
Disadvantages: Buttons can sometimes be difficult to press

I have recently purchased a Nokia 3510i. I feel this has been a very good investment as this phone has loads of functions and features, which are all very useful. I think this phone is quite attractive and interesting. There are orange strips down both sides which light when the phone rings and it has a rather large orange button on the top with which you turn the phone on and off. This phone has a colour screen, which is really funky and cool and ...
...which is better than the Nokia 3330 as with the 3330 you can only save one number under each name. This phone also allows you to store email addresses, web addresses, and home addresses. You can also save notes under each persons name if you choose. Other options include speed dials where you hold down a number in order to ring the number assigned with that button and voice tags where you record the name of the person and when you want to ring them ...
