...ok and close to what nokia claims it to be but as soon as you start to call and actually use it you notice the effect of the extra small battery needed to make the phone only 1 cm thick. Construction
Even though it holds up much better then the flimsy cheap toy feel makes you expect but it could still be better. Dust doest get behind the screen but it does get behind everything ells and is seems like the parts don’t fit together perfectly. There ... ...thing and that is the fact that you can not search in the library itself. Only in the gallery. Also when u accidently pull out the headphone jack it starts to play out loud. Can be very irritating (to those around you)

...a talk about brand new Nokia 5310 XpressMusic cell phone.
As you may understand from it`s name,this is a music phone,oriented mostly to young people and people,who loves music.
The phone itself is not something extra new in design or features,nevertheless,Nokia guys managed to make a real bestseller!
Why am i telling so,after saying,there`s nothing new?I`ll answer: this phone has EVERYTHING as a player and a phone,and it makes you just feel so ... ...charm of this little nice Nokia buddy!

The 5310 XpressMusic as been out for some time now and has somewhat fallen under the radar after Nokia's releases of their N series and Classic phones. it's only slightly thicker than the 6500 classic but thanks to its plastic construct it is lighter, the Phone is available in red and blue liveries both of which look good on the phone and are reminiscent of the orange Walkman Styling on some of the newer SonyEricsson phones. On the top of the phone ... ...charging with the included cable, there is also a sturdy 3.5mm headphone jack, a welcome addition after many years of proprietary jacks.
The software the phone runs (S40 Platform) is easy to use and in most cases not crippled by operator branding. The Nokia 5310 is an average little phone, with good looks and an easy navigation system. It is reasonably small and fits in the pocket easily. It is not the best designed phone, but it still looks very good to the eye. I have had some trouble with the phone freezing and it gets very annoying having to take the battery out and replacing it all the time, Although it does this infrequently. The music buttons on the side are very useful, but could be ... ...and to be honest i wouldn't use it over my Digital Camera. The phone has a very good standby time, just like most nokia phones, it is also very durable, another nokia trait, but unfortunately the freezing and such lets it down.
On the whole a pretty average phone.

The Nokia 5310 is an example of a good phone. Although Nokia has presented the likes of the N series which is getting the fame nowadays. the Nokia 5310 simply still cannot be neglected because it is a stunning phone.
The Nokia 5310 is known to be a music player phone which can easily compete against any music player phone Sony Ericsson has to offer. The Nokia 5310 is a stylish slim line phone with excellent audio quality.

Advantages: the size of the phone is great and the camera was great and it does have some amazing features Disadvantages: it's constanly freezing and sometimes it's hard to get reception
I bought this phone in January last year it;s been over a year now that i had the phone, when i first saw the phone it sounded great as i love music and enjoy listening i thought it was the perfect phone for me, at first everything was working fine, but after a 4 months if having the phone it stated to freeze on me, i didn't think it was anything at first so i just turned it off and switch on again and everything was fine but it just kept on freezing ... ...the phone froze and when i swithched it off the phone did not come back on, took it back to the shop and they fixed it after it got fix their was no signal and it just started freezing again, it still now at the shop being fix.
i do not recommend this phone at all ...

After reciving this phone as a present I was more than pleased with it! The design is sleek and stylish, the screen is bright & vibrant and the sound quality is amazing. I downloaded some themes & games off the internet, added a few albums and there was still plenty of space on the included 2GB Micro SD card that was included with the phone. The veriaty of games available on the phone is also superb.
The camera is decent but not as good as the sony ... ...quite a few dead pixels on the camera so be sure to ceck if you buy one, I had mine swaped and the new one was fine.
After a few weeks with the phone, I LOST IT walking my dogs through some fields and i was gutted. So after serching for ages i gave up and it started to rain and the phone stopped ringing. After a few days of heavy rain and freezing temputeres I thaught the phone must be dead, but 4 weeks later it was found in the field by a lady ...

This is a really good phone. I wanted one that I could use as an mp3 player as well as a phone, so I could take it to the gym with me. It really is an excellent mp3 player, and the sound quality is impressive. I connected my shure e2c earphones which will expose any flaws in the soundcard and they sound perfect. As for the phone for texting and calling, it's very good. Good build quality as well. It's also very small and fits in your jeans pocket without looking obtrusive.
The best part about it is that it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, meaning you can connect your own beloved earphones rather than some terrible nokia offerings. You can also connect it easily in your car if you have a jack to jack connector. All in all, a great phone. ...
