...in a phone. Again the Nokia out did itself, as the phone came with a memory card it means you can download loads of songs (made simple with with Nokia PC suite CD you get). The sound you get from the phone is also clear obviously not as good as with other items such as an IPod but for a phone it is impressive! ...have just upgraded to the Nokia 6500 after a year using a Sony Erricson, and have to say I am glad to be back with a Nokia. The interface is so easy to use, with a very clear menu and easy to use text message input. The nokia 6500 slide is a sleek, robust and feature full 3G slider. My first perception of the phone when i took it out of the box was just how nice the slide felt and how durable the phone felt. It has a nice weight to it (125g), this is mainly due to the outer metal casing, but this is a nice thing because it makes you feel less scared about the phone cracking and makes it feel a little more protected. ...dubious, after all my previous nokia had been awful. However i felt this phone would be different as oon as i took it out of its box!!! I got this phone as an upgrade on my O2 contract from the 6300, initially when comparing, I felt the 6500 slide was quite large and heavy but after a month I feel I can comment more appropriately on all of it's features. ...interface is as friendly as Nokia can get. Connectivity I have tested it for bluetooth and it worked fine. I connected the Slide with my laptop, with another phone and with a pair of Nokia wireless headphones. All connections were seamless, except for reconnecting the headphones for a second time - I had to pair the phone with the headphones all over again to make it work. Disadvantages: Battery life could be better, some features not implemented as well as possible.

...having owned a rather uneventful Nokia 6100 for many years. I was pleased by the variety of features available, particularly those that I'd been missing out on such as a camera, music player, bluetooth, among others. ...not, there is also the Nokia 6500 Classic which is (I assume) the same phone but without the slide design. When I read the phone was 3.2 megapixels, I couldn't believe it. ...by your ear than the Nokia 6500 Slide is for you. The phone's clean cut lines, sharper edges and stainless steel body has had many comments from people about how nice the device looks. LOOK & FEEL As mentioned just above, the phoene looks and feels really nice in your hands. My boyfriend owns this mobile phone and he rather enjoys using it as it is simple to use and a good quality viewing screen to observe. This would be recommended for the older market as they can not complain about being unable to see the writing on screen.
