After experiencing a difficult time with a joystick on a phone I was really thrilled to use the Nokia 6500. Immediately I was able to move freely around the phone wihout hitting the wrong function and didn't have to look at the manual for hours before it became familar. Good quality and robust with the stainless steel back making it feel elegant in the palm of your hand. One of the best features of the phone is the way the slider action locks the phone ,meaning it is never left on through forgetfulness. Also once the internet icon has been moved away from the start up mecahnism then you do not hit this by accident - good idea!

I recently got this phone and i have no regrets so far! It looks great and is nice and light for your convenience. has a very good quality camera also, which can store pictures on memory of up to 4gb with this phone! additional features include messenger and a load of other useful services! reception on 3 is always good for me and my internet connection is great. battery life is not the best thing about this phone and in fact is the only thing i would improve. although you can get one or two days out of it if you dont have the music player on non stop. one of the best nokia's i have had

QUITE NICE A PHONE. HAS AN EXQUISITE LOOK, NICE FEEL ON TOUCH AND GOOD DISPLAY. THE CONTENT IS QUITE GOOD WITH GOOD PICTURE DISPLAY. I QUITE ENJOY USING IT , IT'S FLASHY TOO. the nokia 6500 slide. the phone looks great and has a carl zeiss camera lense to ensure the perfect kodak moments are captured. however i brought this product from 3 on a contract and they sold it to me knowing that these phones have a SOFTWARE FAULT on them, therefore meaning that all the settings change and it freezes. i know dont rate the product at all, and think that it is a great shame that nokia have produced something like this and are ... After experiencing many phones (Motorola, LG Chocolate) breaking and having to be repaired, the return to the reliable Nokia phone was very welcome!! Never broken on me or let me down, also stylish, a good quality camera and attractive.

I like the phone, it looks good, it's packed with great features, it's easy to use. Oh and the camera is great. The only reason this phone didn't get a higher review is that the sound quality during calls isn't always great - and after all it is a phone - nokia need to remember that what people want one for - first and foremost - is making calls.

The nokia 6500 slide is a very good phone. This phone has the looks that new phones should have. i have had it for a few months now and have had no major problems to date. Apart from i don't know if it is just my phone but my battery will last for 2 - 3 days but i do use the easy to use music player 3 hours a day.
