Advantages Advantages Smartphone, plenty of features

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor camera (can be improved with software), limitations on some features.

I have had this phone for the past three years and feel that I have tested it to its limits. I personally like bulky phones, but looking at companies such as Samsung with their ever-so-easy to snap phones i'm guessing im in the minority there. I decided that I liked the Nokia 6600 because it seemed to have all the features you could ever want as well as having a large 176x208px display. When I first used this phone, it was my first phone beyond an old Nokia 6210, therefore it was a totally new experience for me. Upon picking up the phone I liked how it was comfortable to use, it is easy to ... more

Advantages Advantages Packed with exciting features including bluetooth/infrared, camera & video, email & games!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bit on the bulky side and no in built Mp3 player

Having had a nokia 3310 for nearly two years i decided that i needed a change of scenery from the dull, black & white phone that had i been using for to long. I wanted a camera phone which would enable me to access some of today's hottest features in phones including infrared and bluetooth technology. The choice was between this phone the nokia 6600 or the nokia 7600. Having compared specs on each i came to the easy conclusion that this phone would be right for me. Want to know why, well read on... First the price. The price of this phone has come done considerably since i brought mine. I ... more

    Advantages Advantages Lots of features

Disadvantages Disadvantages A little bit bulky, lots of features!

I bought this phone after my old 8210 got broken and I had to claim off an insurance policy. I was wondering which phone to buy and my man said "get the 6600, its the best on the market". I looked at the phone and my first impressions were...Its a bit...erm...big. The thing is though, I was so used to such a small phone so even going up a centimetre in width (which is pretty much the only difference in size between this and an 8210) was a bit of a shock. I got it home and my man opened it up for me and set it up. He sat on the sofa and showed me all the things it could do, and I have to say I ... more

Advantages Advantages Number of Features, Bluetooth

Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery Life, Weight and Size

After signing up with a new O2 online contract I received a Nokia 3200, but trust me to be unlucky this one was faulty with about 3 different faults. After loads of calls and emails to O2 they eventually agreed to replace it and sent me the Nokia 6600 which I have to admit is a fantastic phone. The only problem with it is the size, its quite a large phone and the weight of it I found compared to other Nokia phones was quite heavy. But even so it does everything you could want it too, it even makes calls! It has a menu system on it that has two options either a list style menu or a menu in a ... more

Advantages Advantages Funky and useful, gimmicky and good-looking

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery life limited.

It was the Saturday during the Easter bank holiday and I quite fancied going clubbing, but was up for a night in, as was Tommy’s preference. Donna, who we’d committed the evening to, would have rather gone out swinging her bits and getting people’s numbers as we bounced and swayed in a mildly embarrassing manner, but it wasn’t to be. Tommy told Donna that it was I who didn’t want to go out, but we could have a nice evening in instead. I let this happen every so often, Tommy using me for excuses. I’ve had a terrible headache on the evenings of numerous people’s birthday parties. My friend Becca ... more

Advantages Advantages Cool design, big and beautiful, and it's a phone as well !

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None yet !!!

Ok,...... I have to admit defeat here,..... my previous review on the old ( OLD ) Nokia 7110, being my all time fave' phone has now to be updated. Loved its slick design, flippy flappy slidey, shoot down front cover, pearlescent paint finnish, big screen, roller clickey thing in the middle, etc . Used it to death, and wore it out. ( rebuilt it from new parts ) and used it to death and wore it out again ....... finally the poor old 7110 could take no more from me !......... It is now resigned to the (classic phone) draw in my kitchen............ along with about 10 other previous examples from ... more

Advantages Advantages Camera, ringtones and looks classy

Disadvantages Disadvantages The manual is really naff

I'm like a child at the moment with so many things I want to write about. But thought I'd tell you all about my mobile phone. This is my first consumer angled review so I hope you'll all be gentle with me and all constructive feedback will be appreciated. My Nokia 6600 came into my possession by way of a free upgrade. Normally this phone costs in excess of £150 when bought on contract and I was mightily impressed with it from the moment I took it out of the box. Oozing class, the 6600 is the new baby in the Nokia family of mobile phones incorporating new technology with tried and tested ... more

Advantages Advantages Huge list of features

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not the best battery life, not the smallest phone

I have now had this phone for about 6-7 months. I bought it second hand off a friend and I have had absolutely no problems so far. First impressions were that, although the phone is not as small as some that you may be used to, it looks very smart and business like, which is something I quite like about a phone. The keypad is a standard affair which makes ordinary things like writing text messages easy with T9 predictive text. This is much better than some of nokia's more 'futuristic' phone designs which require you to learn how to text again! Though thanks to snowbunni for pointing out that ... more

    Advantages Advantages So many features

Disadvantages Disadvantages not a phone for someone who just wants to make calls.

After having this phone since January I thought I'd best give it the credit it deserves and write a review on it. This is my second nokia phone so if you have already been using a nokia phone you will find using this phone easy as the menu's are very similar. This phone is just like a mini PDA. the menu has been totally redesigned to look like a pda with all the menu options in a grid format with little icons to represent the menu, for example there is a little envelope for messaging. There are so many features on this phone. Messaging --------------- This phone is capable of text messaging ... more
