Nokia moves it on

Advantages: Well designed, easy to use, ability to play music files, third generation handset, is available for free on most tariffs
Disadvantages: There are relatively few that you can pick out, any that you do discover are far outweighed by the plus points

...was a contest between the Nokia 6630 and 6680 for me, but I eventually settled on the 6630 after agreeing a great deal with shop. The Nokia 6630 is a third generation smart phone. For those of you who are a little less clued up, I will explain those two terms as simply as possible. The third generation handsets (3G) allow users to send and receive videos and images, as well as making video calls. The smart phone, refers to the functions like Microsoft ...
...-Package Contents- The Nokia 6630 comes in various different boxes, reflecting the various Nokia factories around the world. I Love My 6630 (REWRITTEN)

Advantages: MP3's, lenghty 3GP video time, Video calling and Online abilities
Disadvantages: No games pre-installed and no front camera

...review I was using my Nokia 6630 and was in fact very proud that I had. The only problem using a phone to type a review is that you cant see the end result from a PC users point of view. Now I have a PC I have finally plucked up the courage to see how it looked and rewrite my original disaster. This was also my very first review at Ciao so I didn't really know what was expected either but now I've settled in a bit I know a little better. So here ...

The Nokia 6630 Smart Phone Itself 64MB Reduced Size Multi-Media Card (MMC) Adapter for MMC Nokia Stereo Headset Nokia Battery Nokia Travel Charger Nokia Connectivity Cable (USB) CD-ROM containing software and guides DESIGN The design of the phone is somewhat different to most phones as it has a rounded bottom. Many people tell me that they don't like the design but I find it quirky and very original. It sits nicely in the palm ...

...offer I decided on the Nokia 6630, and below are my thoughts on the phone. ********The Package********* What you get from Orange is of course the phone, a battery, charger, data cable, software, manual and a 64MB mmc card. The manual supplied by Orange is quite basic and really only contains information to get you started on most of the features. The software installed easily on my XP machine and after the first charge I was ready to go. ********Size ...
...not really explored this. Unfortunately Nokia have not put a light on the phone so pictures in the dark a quite poor even with the night mode on, although they have brought out a flash module that connects to the bottom of the phone. The lag on the camera is about standard for a phone 1 sec. The photo taken can of course be sent as an MMS or with this phone as an e mail, an e mail that will take forever you are saying but this is where 3G comes in ...

My review on Nokia 6630

Advantages: 3G, Nice camera, MMC, Good feedback keypad, light sensor, theme, good loudspeaker, bluetooth.
Disadvantages: Selected MMC card only, no infra, soft ringtone, low battery life, no full support pic msg, camera no protection cover.

...myself to get back to Nokia phone model, so from my old Nokia 7650, i purchased this Nokia 6630 to replace it when the price has been lower. THE PHONE PACKAGE * Comes with 1 handset, one free stereo headset, one battery, one 64MB reduced size MMC, USB link cable, one charges then a pack of manual and info. * This phone comes with 12/18 months of warranty in our country, which is reasonable. THE PHONE LOOKS * This phone look overall for me is ...
...of material, it seem that Nokia is trying to follow Samsung step which is a good things. * The phone comes with changeable cover, so you may wish to change color as you wants to OR when your cover is damaged or scathed. BUT i do personal think that Nokia should at least allow the cover to protect the camera lens as well, as in Nokia 6630, the cover provide none protection and the camera only use it build in len as protection. (do mean if you scathed ...

Nokia for me all the way

Advantages: Large screen
Disadvantages: Takes a lot to get used to

...my two previous phones being Nokia and had no problems with, I thought that my next phone would be a Nokia too. So I went down to the phone shop and looked at all the Nokia's and finally after having the sales person going through a few different phones I settled on the 6630, This is a 3G phone (third generation) which allows you to send and receive video's and images and also make video calls. It is very much different from phone's I have been used ...
...this phone and any other Nokia I have owned is that it is well built and this phone is very tough and has been dropped once or twice and remained ok in all areas. And you have the extra peace of mind that if the phone covers do get damaged you can buy replacements. So after we agreed which phone I was having and sorted out my contract I was given my new phone and off I went home. On opening the box I found The phone itself Battery Travel Charger ...

...used to for a seasoned Nokia user. The main gripe ergonomically is the direction/select key, which is relatively small and quite difficult to press 'select' (ie. in the centre) as opposed to up/down/left/right. This is resolved by the key on the left side of the direction/select button, which can be used in this function via two presses... difficult to explain in words, but to summarise, the change from previous models takes a little getting used ...
...offer the package with the Nokia video stand included, which can retail separately for around £50. This does mean that the 6630 can only make video calls when plugged in, but to be honest, no one else has video calling yet, so its probably not too much of a problem! The software included is extremely good, although strangely limited in some respects. The excel and word document viewer is very useful for business people who want to review email attachments ...

Nokia 6630 small office or a brick?

Advantages: Lots of useful stuff, inc email

...When I first got the Nokia it was a new and adventurous phone. It had a camera and a colour screen. Compared to my old phone it was a blessing. However now about 3/4 years later it's made me a laughing stock. I take it out and I get snide remarks like "oh are you planning a ram raid?" I reply not with the obvious, instead I say "no but I am about to check my e-mail" So still after such a long time I think it is still quite up to date. I can even ...
...Successor: 6680 ===My Nokia 6630 Experience=== I got my Nokia about 3/4 years ago, and I am please to report it still works as good as it did the day it was bought. Even though I've dropped it, buried it, left it in a hot car, left it in rain and dropped it some more. So in my opinion it has a great durability. Features; I use many of the features it provides. For example this phone comes with a Microsoft office viewer which I sometimes use to ...

...decided to invest in a Nokia 6630 on an orange contract. Included in my contract I got a heck of a lot of free data allowance for the first 3 months and was really glad I did, as this can prove to be an expensive feature. I got a bit hooked on the celebrity news videos and downloaded quite a few things too, but when orange mistakenly charged me for the data after the first month I was horrified to find a bill for £100! Be warned, 3G is great but ...

GPRS and MMS are easy to set up and work without a hitch and there are hundreds of downloads for Nokia phones available so themes, games, videos and ringtones are never a problem to find. Call quality was high and I never had a problem with a call being dropped. The ringtones and message tones seemed clear enough ...

Nokia 6630 - Mobile Multimedia Center

Advantages: easy to use, cool features, takes quiet good photos
Disadvantages: the size is bigger than it should be

I have been using a Nokia 6630 mobile phone for about one month and I am very satisfied with it. It feels like using a computer when you are using it. There are many useful functions and it brings the functions of a computer, camera, cell phone together. Since it is cheaper than much newer models, It is now an economic solution for most of your needs. Maybe It doesn\'t detect wireless internet connections but I think it is the only thing missing ...
...be looking like some other Nokia models but I just wanted to mention that because I bought my 6630 after using a Siemens M55 for 3 years and I just felt the difference. Taking photos with your 6630 is another enjoyable activity really :) since its camera is giving the required quality from a mobile phone I just capture every moment that I would like to see again in future. If you are using a memory card, then you have a chance to record videos too. ...

...never understood the popularity of Nokia and still don't. While functional, the call application, with a fiddly volume, a camera that doesn't allow for proper video calls and text with frustrations, doesn't seem particularly appealing. I don't play the games, but do use the Web browser regularly. Whilst the browsing is easy and relatively fast, the 'phone' issues are not overcome by any great step forward in this technology. I don't see this is ...
...do appreciate the lengthy standby and talktime, together with a relatively quick charge. I tend to recharge the battery when it is about 1/3rd full, charge it overnight. It lasts 2-3 days (I spend roughly 3-4 hours a day talking on the phone and it is always on) I do also sometimes forget to charge it and need a 1/2 hour to 1 hour charge and find it will happily last for 8 hours on that charge. Ergonomics. Ugly. It sits in my pocket, usually with ...

Whoaaaah! Is That A Phone

Advantages: 1.3 mp Camera, big screen size
Disadvantages: Not plug and play on computer and only takes rs dv mmc

As many of you know Nokia are the leading phone manufacturer. From the Nokia 502 to the Nokia 6630, Nokia have made many improvements to their phones. Many of them now being a shape out of the original mould. When I purchased this from e2save I was so excited, waiting on the edge of my seat for the email confirmation and for when it would be delivered, however, to my displeasure I was told it was out of stock at the moment and they would take delivery ...
...less battery life. The Nokia 6630 is a smart phone which means it does have a lot of functions your average phone wouldnt do. The phone is hard to use, however, it'll only take about a week or so to get used to it and if I can use it, believe me anyone can. Text messages are easy to send and type. The keypad is the usual layout that you would expect on a phone and not weird like the nokia 7600. Connectivity - It can connect to the computer via ...

...a piece of reliable old Nokia combined with cheap cross-network calls and text bundles. First off, the camera and picture quality is good - and very convenient if, like me, you're not the camera-carrying type. 1.3 Megapixels is as high-definition as many of the cheaper digital cameras on the market and the pics look good in jpeg format on your pc, or printed out.
