Advantages Advantages brilliant 5megapixel camera with flash, stunning looks

    Disadvantages Disadvantages slow internet

Update: The video recorder on this phone can actually hold up to over an hour of filming and not the 11 sec that I originally thought, but requires a setting to be changed as the default setting makes video clips shorter in order to fit them in multimedia messages, but I found that even 11 sec clips were too large to send?!? Also, the mapping is excellent and comes with gps so you can get directions to anywhere in the UK with your current position shown onscreen as well as your destination. There is quite detailed mapping available with the zoom going quite close in. ------------------ I ... more

Advantages Advantages It feels solid and robust owing to its slender design and stainless steel construction.

Disadvantages Disadvantages TFT display of 2.2 inches; 320 x 240 pixels is small for mapping purposes and web browsing

I received the Nokia 6700 classic (all in black, including keyboard and backplate) as part of an Orange contract upgrade. The main features of the phone can be found on the Nokia website at http://www.nokia.co.uk/find-products/all-phones/nokia-6700-classic so I'll concentrate on the phone as a user. Over the years of owning a number of mobiles ranging from Motorola, Samsung, Philips, Sony Ericsson and Nokia I have generally preferred Nokia, mainly beacuse of the simplicity of the S40 user interface, which is very user friendly and simple in approach. The main points about the Nokia 6700 ... more

    Advantages Advantages Design,battery,GPS,display

Disadvantages Disadvantages Impossible to install Google MAPS, OVI maps are free for trial (for routing only!license needed).

Well, Nokia still developing lots of new phones, launching new series and installing, applying new technologies. Sure, everyone now can find easily somethig, let`s say, special for him or herself when choosing the phone. But, there always still some minor (or bigger ;)) ) things that irritates everytime you use the device. As my user experience shows, it is impossible to find an IDEAL device to use...Either battery (to weak), display, ringtone loudness or quality, lack of features, price, design or something else - there is always something that will irritate!Yep, you will agree! Haven`t you ... more

Advantages Advantages - Very stylish design - Impressive battery life - Solid camera - Easy to use interface

Disadvantages Disadvantages - Pretty expensive as it doesn't have an array of features - Weight makes difficult to text

After having this phone for around 4 months I've really got used to the weight and feel of this handset and the interface. The 'Nokia 6700 classic' is named so because it's been designed and styled with previous Nokia models in mind. I found this a breath of fresh air compared to the smart phones with 500 different features and complicated interfaces being churned out by various companies. It features: - A 5 megapixel camera with a max resolution of 2592x1944 - 2.2" display with a resolution of 240x320 - 3G: HSDPA internet - Bluetooth Design and styling: Weighing in at 116.5 grams the 6700 ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, simplistic design, sleek and stylish, lots of features and applications.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Metal casing scratches easily, camera isn't the best for a 5 mega pixel one.

I've had this phone now for 7 months, and can say it is one of the best phones I have owned. Its simplistic yet stylish design mean that it does not appear outdated 2 weeks after purchase. The metal casing on the phone adds an elegant feel to it. I bought this phone because I was sure it was a no-thrills high-end phone, the sort you'd expect from Nokia. The screen is a decent size, although the buttons can ache your fingers and thumbs much or easily then other phones because you have to press down that little bit harder than on other phones. Having said that the sound is pretty much perfect ... more

Advantages Advantages EASY USE AND VERY PRACTICAL

Disadvantages Disadvantages BATTERY LIFE NOT GREAT

LOVE THE CLASSIC NOKIA PHONE....VERY RETRO!!!! With all the new fancy phones that do everything except make you a coffee, feel the Nokia 6700 Classic is a breath of fresh air. It is a light, easy to use phone that makes the basics of a phone easy: to make phone calls and to send text messages. I have a long history of breaking my phones and i think i have had 6 phones in 6 months as I find many of the newer phones especially the touch screen phones are very temperamental and break very easy....well thats my excuse anyway.....the Nokia 6700 Classic is perfect for me as it is robust and working ... more

    Advantages Advantages Look and Feel

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery Life

At first the Nokia 6700 looks and feels like a superb phone with lots of extra features. I found the camera a bit hard to use and keep in focus when taking a picture due to the time delay. It is a very simle phone to use and has the usual Nokia layout. It comes with Ovi mas installed which can prove very handy. It has a very shiny chrome back which is very easily marked which can take away from the beauty of this phone if not looked after. I have had to send mine away now twice for repairs, the first time it would not accept the security code and the second time it would not charge or switch ... more
