However, having used this phone, I have to say I am appalled by Nokia's effort this time; and being a very big Nokia fan this is something I have trouble saying. ...was fed up of my nokia 7610 so thought why not splash out o a phone for once, after all, I normally put up with simple upgrades that have gone completely out of fashion after a month!!! So onto ebay it was and I managed to grab one for £350 which I thought was a bargain compared to what they normally went for, it was brand new boxed sealed so I was quite shocked when I went to turn it on and the screen flickered for about 10 seconds before anything ...

The Nokia 8800 is no doubt an instant attraction to any eye beholding it. It's first high point is in its steel body giving it a lustre that is not a common feature with most other Nokia phones. Truth is, i only used this mobile phone for a short period of one week while trying out its features to decide if I was going to buy it off a friend. Needless to say, I felt no desire to return, asides from the fact that I couldn't afford it at the time ...

...Yes, that bad. No wonder Nokia gives two batteries with the box. After a while I got sick of the phone and stopped using it for around two weeks. Then after I started to using it again as a spare phone, the battery, amazingly, lasted longer than the first time I used it. It can hold for a few days now. I'm not sure how that happened. Probably because I let the phone "rest"? Not sure. As for the ringtone, it sounds really nice and suits the phone ...
...like earphone that matches the phone, a desktop charger, two batteries and a pouch. The price is alright I think, considering that it is the 8000 series, and because it includes all the accessories. The flaws would only be the battery life and functions to me. But this is not a big factor to me as I use this only as my spare phone. May not be the phone for gadget people and those who uses their phones alot, but if you can afford it, then why not ...
