Advantages: stylish design
Disadvantages: short battery life

I've had this phone (the black sirocco version) for about 6 weeks now and I'm quite pleased with it. Featurewise, there are better phones out there although it has got a 2 megapixel camera and a built in radio. The main selling point of the phone has to be the look and feel of it as it is a very stylish design and feels expensive. In the time I've had it it still looks new and doesn't scratch easily. I recently purchased the nokia 8800, with very high expectations. What a disapointment! The look's on some peoples faces when you pull out this mobile phone is something i cannot complain about, it's all 'wow' and 'how much did that cost?'. And boy oh boy does it make you feel great oh what? I have recently bought this Nokia 8800 for a price of £150. I was impressed with the overall look and feel of the phone. It is also nicely sized. The games are quite good graphics and it is a nice phone to show off. However I am dissapoined with this phone as a small scrach on the screen looks huge and makes the phone look ugly. Well - what can I say about this phone that isn't already blindly obvious from the other reviews here on Ciao. I've had mine for coming up to 5 months and can't fault it. Its a great phone; nice features; excellent design - has a bit of 'meat' to it as well, which I quite like; semi-good battery life; a funcky 'as' phone charger cradle that pulses blue. Advantages: looks,
Disadvantages: software problems, marked easily

...it. It's a poser's phone!! Although Nokia are known for their menu ease for some reason this has been changed on the nokia 8800. Also Ive noticed that it does have a software problem on mine that few other people I know also noticed where by it switches it self off. When this mobile phone came out in the shops I thought Wow it just looks great in the silver, titanium and black models. I also saw a designer version for well over £1000. Ok so the phone looks good but I think this is a poor model made by nokia, its scratch resistant which is good but with many of the phones being sold today for over £300 its just not worth it. ...time that ive owned a nokia phone,when i saw the 8800 advertised it just looked so stylish i knew i had to have it but the big issue was the price. Advantages: Stylish, sturdy and very well made.
Disadvantages: Short battery life and small keys.

Having had this phone since it came out and not wanting to change it for anything else, really sums up this piece of designer equipment. It does everything you would expect and more,feels great in the hand and has survived a tough life in my pocket. Its small and compact size with the sliding cover for the key pad makes it ideal for someone like me who does not like bulky items in his trouser pocket which need an extra tight belt to keep the waist ... The absolute undisputed King of Mobiles! Yeah, the battery life could perhaps be better, but its difficult to think of anything else wrong with it. Just looks like regal, perfectly formed and attracts attention like nobodies business! User-friendly too, as you'd expect from Nokia. the moment i first saw Nokia 8800, i so wanted to buy the handset!! I bought this in november and at that time, no other handset (mostly the looks) can even be compared with this one!! I bought the handset for free with Orange contract (all other network, had to pay nearly 100 pounds).
