Second impressions: actually this isn’t half bad My dad got this phone from work about 4 months ago, so he didn’t have to pay for it which was nice, for him anyway bad for me i have just listen to him whining bout the boss all day. Any way to the phone
Key features: Extended memory, Web browser, Flash Player, RealOne Player, VPN Client Talk time: 4 - 10 hours Standby time: Up to 230 hours Operating ... ...Nothing like it.
The nokia 9210i has full length of the phone keypad which is easy to use even i found if you have quiet large fingers like my brother (he he) this is found when u flick open the phone. There is also a full length of the phone sized screen which is adjacent to the keypad, kinda like a mini laptop, you can even type up documents of a sort and send emails and fax, to anyone round the world.
It has Internet access which is just your ...

Advantages: This phone has it all Disadvantages: quite big for a phone
Remember those first Nokia mobile phones? They where massive! A lot has changed since then, phones kept getting smaller and smaller until Nokia came with their communicator, the communicator had almost the exact same size as their first models and I remember people making fun of me for my 'old' bulky phone, until I opened it up to reveal the full keyboard and massive screen!
The 9210i is the 4th model communicator that hits the mobile phone market, ... ...a bit bigger then on the previous communicator models (the lit screen is so big that I even use my phone as a flashlight when I have to go to the bathroom at night!!!), while the phone itself has been made a little bit smaller. Its hard to call this device a 'mobile phone' its more like a mini laptop. While the outside looks like a normal mobile-phone the inside is packed with great features: word processor, spreadsheet, calendar, world clock, notepad, ...

Advantages: A Web browser, email & word processor, PDA and many other office applications. Disadvantages: The size is quite big, lacks GPRS and Bluetooth
I bought my Nokia 9210 just when they came out 2001. Since then, I have been unable to even think of upgrading it or even buying a new mobile phone. Nothing has come out to match up what the 9210 does. I still get heads turning when I answer or make call on it, talk about gadgets! First thing you notice is the finely curved silver brick you would think is a TV remote. But this thought is erased when you open it up to find a crystal clear 4,096 colour ... ...your emails, word prosessing (Mini Microsoft Word), spreadsheet and note pad which are just some of the applications included on the phone. The beauty of it is that I can work any where and it feels like carrying a mini Laptop. I download my emails while on the move, open all my attachments and browse the web which includes java virtual machine. I even send and receive fax. Since I cant work 24-7 I have games on it to relax my mind. When I get home ...

Advantages: The functionality of a laptop computer. Disadvantages: Feels a little big to begin with.
...a smaller faster handset (the Nokia 9500) but this was and still is an amazing handset.
It really is like having a shrunken version of your office laptop (although I have yet to see a laptop that has half of this phones features) enabling uncomplicated access to the FULL internet (not grainy slow WAP), access to e-mail using POP3 enabled accounts, the ability to view and edit Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint ... ...for you then it is possible to download further new software and expand on the existing stuff too.
AND on top of this the phone does function as a Mobile Telephone and you can send SMS's.
Some have an issue with the phones size but when you consider that it packs an incredible 4'' Screen and a full QWERTY (desktop standard) keyboard you can't really complain. Plus if you are a media mogul you can get 'Real Player Plus' for smart phone enabling ...
