    When I went to buy a new phone on contract, I wasn't looking to spend over £20 per month, and so didn't expect to get an amazing phone. This phone stood out to me right away, it's so beautiful! When I saw it, I had a play on it, and thought 'wish I had more money to buy a phone like this'. It was to my surprise that the Nokia Lumia 800 was to be free for £20.50 a month on Orange. Even though the contract was for a whole 24 months, the amount I would pay by the end would be barely larger than the amount the phone would cost on pay as you go.     Advantages Advantages Sleek design and a fast operating speed

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Lack of top quality apps and no front facing camera.

    I have now had the Nokia Lumia 800 for 3 months and I have put it through its paces both as a leisure phone and a business phone. The looks and finish of this mobile are top quality. I really appreciate the thought process that has gone into this phone. The screen sits up from the body of the phone which gives it definition and makes the screen very comfortable to use. The screen is also very robust. I store my mobile in my trouser pockets and I have not one scratch on the screen. The phone also comes with a very neat rubber sleeve.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Shocking Battery. Confusing and non-working support. Not ergonomically friendly at times

    I took this phone as part of an upgrade. Within a day I had taken the original handset back to the shop as the standby time (quoted at 12 days by Orange) equated to closer to 12 hours without pressing a button. I stuck the phone on my bedside one night with the battery showing at 40%: went to sleep and by the morning it was completely flat.It seemed Nokia had acknowledged the problem, and provided a 'software update' to cure it via their PC software- 'Zune'. I downloaded this software, and discovered the phone would not update. Being a patient chap I tried this upgrade on 4 different computers ... more

    Advantages Advantages easy to use, fast, very very durable, lots of features, great for socialising

    so guys... ive had this phone now for about 5 months. first impressions werent great. i opened the box and it included... my sim for 400 minutes, unlimited texts and 250mb data with orange. the phone came free for 25 pounds a month. it also included the phone itself, the micro usb to 3 pin charger and a pair of quite uncomfortable headphones. i inserted the micro sim which had a enclosed port but was easy to use. i looked in the box for the battery which confused me. i looked in the manual and found out the battery is incased in the phone and there is absolutely no way to take it out. i ... more

    The Nokia Lumia 800 – the first smart phone from Nokia to run Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system 7.5. My initial reaction to the phone when getting it out of the box was that it looks and feels great. Slick, stylish and well built.
