Advantages: Looks good, lightweight, excellent camera, music player, good battery life Disadvantages: Keys may be too small for larger fingers
...as I really appreciated the Nokia 3220 my friend had lent me after my old phone went swimming in a pint of lager I had started thinking about getting a new phone anyway. This was mainly due to the rise in popularity of camera phones. Even though it had a camera, the quality of the pictures were pretty poor and whilst all my friends were showing me pictures on their phones when I tried to show anyone pictures on mine they could never work out what ...

...maybe it is true that Nokia really are 'Connecting People'.
Battery Life
The battery life on this phone is very substantial when the screen, the power and the camera are put into consideration. It comes with a Lithium Polymer battery, so it does not suffer from memory problems, and it has an 1100mAh capacity, which is very good for its size. I have found that I will charge it every two days, and that is with frequent texting, a LOT ...

Advantages: The amazing camera! Disadvantages: Its attraction to dust!
...that is true of the Nokia N73. Most people I've asked have said it looks quite big and bulky. Never the less I bought one because I really like it!
From a first glance it does appear to be oversized compared too many of the slinky mobile phones in the market nowadays. The colour may not do the phone any good initially, but the housing can easily be changed. Admittedly this is quite difficult as they are quite difficult to remove, needing special ...

Advantages: Really good camera, Easy to use with lots of features Disadvantages: It can run slowly and the updates are not reliable
I have owned Nokia mobile phones for years, changing it every year for an upgrade. I moved away from Nokia to a Samsung phone for one year and regretted it. The phone I had was great but I don’t believe you can beat how simple it is to use a Nokia phone and that no matter which one you get, the navigation and lay out is generally the same and very simple to use. After my year contract was up I moved back to purchasing a Nokia. 6 months ago I moved ...

Advantages: Good camera, typically easy to use, amazing video quality Disadvantages: Feels flimsy, X series has more bugs than a nature documentary
This is technically the best Nokia camera phone on the market with it's 3.2mp camera, pipping the Nokia N93 by 0.2 of a megapixel. The only phone on the market that equals it is the Sony Ericsson K800i, which has the same quality camera. However, as is always the case whenever I get a "state of the art Nokia", I find myself noticing adverts for the 5 megapixel N95, to be released in March. It would be nice if Nokia could spend a little more time celebrating ...

I purchased the Nokia N73 as a replacement for my Current 6230i. It was the only phone out at the time i bought which really took my eye with its style, colour and most of all...features.
The handset is a bar style design and is available in a range of colours. Mine is the Purple backed one, which i was given with no choice buy the operator at the time. The phone looks stunning from the outset.
The N73 weighs 116 grams & measures 110 x 49 x19 ...

After previously owning a Nokia handsets then switching over to sony erricson, when i saw this phone up for grabs in a contract with Three i decided to give it a go with the X-series silver addon. (Mobile internet, Msn,Ebay,Skype,Web browsing, etc.)
The mobile itself perhaps comes accross as a little heavy and bulky for the average user to begin with but the compatability and extensive range of features and applications for this little device soon ...

...phone is supplied with the Nokia PC suite which allows you to transfer files between the phone and a PC. This is where my biggest gripe comes from. After installing the PC suite on my computer no matter what I did I could not get my phone to connect to it via the supplied USB cable (I haven't tried Bluetooth or infra-red so can't comment on them). After several failed attempts I noticed a small link at the bottom of the software to update it online. ...

The battery standby time is satisfactory, although talktime is not as good, and use of games can drain the battery quite quickly.

I am approaching the time to upgrade my phone from the N73. I have used this phone for approximately 12 months and overall I am happy I chose the phone.

Initial impressions when removing the phone from the packaging were good, it had a certain wow factor that would surely make this phone a great fashion accessory. The screen was big and bright, the silver reflected sunlight like expensive jewelery and ...

I decided to get the N73 because at the time the specifications where rather impressive. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera, a good quality screen and the symbian operating system allows for various functionality.

...For the features it boasts, Nokia has managed to cut down the physical size of the phone compared to previous models: the 3250 springs to mind. This is all well and good but the handset is still reasonably beefy compared to some other smart phones and most stylish mobiles out there. Can it redeem itself with the feature-set?

A lot of Java apps are not correctly re-sized (zoomed) to fit the entire screen estate of the N73 (wasn't screen scaling meant to be a feature of S60 3rd Edition for older Java apps?), sometimes resulting in a confusing mess being drawn on screen as the application attempts to use just a subset of the N73's screen.
With the way firmware updates can significantly improve the performance and functionality ...

...which you would have thought Nokia could sort out by now is that of the phone switching itself off all the time. Especially now that my phone is a little older, I have found that it just decides to die for no apparent reason, often in the middle of an important conversation. Thirdly, whilst the phone actually has a fairly good camera (although it is useless in low light) and an mp3 player, the memory card provided is tiny, meaning that you have to ...

However, the subsections and subsections of subsections are sometimes confusing and certain options and applications are not where you'd think they would be and you can sometimes find yourself lost.
