Advantages: Quality of camera, big screen Disadvantages: Not user friendly!
I used to be a Nokia man through and through, but my last phone (the Sony Ericsson z710i) temporarily tempted me away, and I have to say, I was impressed (see my other phone review). It was the lure of putting Tomtom on a Symbian smartphone that got be back to Nokia in the form of the N73. I have now had the N73 for a couple of weeks and am not enjoying it very much yet. There are hundreds of reviews on the internet about how good the N73 is and what ...

Advantages: Excellent camera, music and display Disadvantages: nothing
I was using the Nokia N70 and at that time my pocket did not allow me to buy the Nokia N73. Now, i somehow managed to buy the Nokia N73. As far as the handset design is concerned, its an excellent phone. Though most of the 3G phones are not lightweight, but this phone is comparatively lightweight with only 116g and has a very compact dimension of 110 x 49 x 19 mm. The handset has a wide 262k colour display screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. ...

The downside of having such a high spec phone is that the BP-6M battery often struggles to meet the standard. I find myself having to charge my phone every night as around 60% of a full charge is used every day. Whilst this is slightly irritating, having a spare battery or a car charger easily alleviates this issue.

Advantages: Strong features and typical nokia reliability Disadvantages: few and far between
The Nokia N73 is one of the best, if not the best phone on the market at the moment. It has all the ease and reliabilty known to all Nokia phones as well as all the excellent features that it comes with.
The 3.2 mega pixel camera is fantastic. I bought this phone around the same time that i was going to buy a digital camera, but with the N73 there really is no need. Just slip in memory card, which are widely available, and the phone can store hundered ...

...can get that from the Nokia site anyways... just my general opinion.
I'll first explain the backdrops of the N70 and why the N73 is an upgrade to that "error" of a phone. One of the things I hated about the N70 (I used it for about 3months) was the slide at the back that activates the camera. It slides open so easily and that used to get on my last nerve when I have to take it out of my pocket. Also, it freezes ever so often; just hangs.
It ...

Advantages: All in 1, great camera & Battery Disadvantages: Slower than normal phones
Had N73 for about amonth now and its great, im used to the symbian system so i was straight into using this great phone. I did try the N80 but to be honest this phone out performs the N80 in everything except WiFi.
Right wont go into the technical stuff as that already been done. I use this phone at work, traveling about sites and in vans etc, yes it stands being dropped, banged and thrown around a dashboard, not a mark on it.
The sound is excellent, ...

Quick review of Nokia N73 Review ofNokia N73by
chiggy.t
The N73 is overall, a very good phone. It has many of the features that you find in many modern phones such as bluetooth and 3G capability. The 3.2 megapixel camera is very good and the quality can truly be witnessed when you view the pictures on a big PC screen which really does show the quality of the camera, especially night time pictures. The one downside to this phone is the software problem that I experienced where the phone would freeze for 20 seconds after sending a SMS.
However, this was easily fixed with an update from the Nokia website. In terms of music, the speakers has capability of going VERY loud.
Good phone, recommend purchasing!

Advantages: Large Screen, Clear Menus, Plenty of features/functionality Disadvantages: Slow, Small Buttons
Having bought the N73 second hand from a friend I had no idea about the additional features it had all on a very slick, well animated large display screen. However this is offset by the smallish buttons that obviously had to compensate for the screen. I personally had some difficulty with typing text messages at speed as sometimes my thumb would hit the media buttonby accident and thus open a new menu clearing any progress on the text, this was annoying ...

...sms speed accelerator from the nokia website. This may be a bit difficult if your not one for computers.
If your used to a large keypad it can take some getting used to the small keys, when i first got the phone i was often sending texts prematurly when wanting to press the "1" key. However for the small keys which do not take to long to master, you get a wonderfully large screen size without having to carry around a brick.

Has everything you want, such as mp3 player, camera (3.2 megapixel carl zeiss) including video, MMS, bluetooth, infrared and even more. ...defiantely one of the top Nokia smartphones on the market with it's great screen display and impressive size it does not disappoint. The N73 currently holds one of the best cameras and can easily replace a dedicated digital camera. A large built in memory capacity allows you to store your photos or MP3's with ease however the exclusion of a SD card with the package is something potential buyers should consider.
