Advantages: State of theart phone that you'll find difficult to bewithout Disadvantages: Bad battery life
...a nasty experience with a Nokia phone two years ago, I was reluctant to return to the brand feeling more encouraged to stick with my Sony Ericsson phone which for a year had been 100% reliable and faithful (with the odd silly glitch) the trouble being in the year since I got my last phone Sony Ericsson a company that in recent years have been at the forefront of mobile technology have not moved on, while bizarrely the rest of the networks have. I was fully aware of all the funky things that the N95 8GB provided, and as possible as it is to get aroused by a mobile phone believe me I was there. I'm a bit of a gadget boy; actually sadly I'm a gadget man now having passed the middle stages of my 30's. As a result this vice requires that I have all the funky gadgets I can, having raised all my kids I'm ...

Advantages: Simple to use, with lots of functions. Disadvantages: Cant see the screen outside
I have had my Nokia N95 8GB for about a month now, it has taken me a long time to choose a phone that I would enjoy using. After seeing this phone on display, my choice was made instantly.
I've always ended up back with Nokia model because they are simple to use, and even with the all the programmes this phone offers, the navigation is very straightforward, and quick.
One thing that has so far annoyed me, is if you dont close an application by ... ...application to say it's open still, if this bothers you, then you have to go into it, to exit it...

Maybe I'm just not used to my new keypad yet, but sometimes I find it a bit too small to use, and I press the wrong keys.
When you are outside it is nearly impossible to see what you are writing on the phone, you have a small number of different themes you can use, so some colours are better than others.

Nokia N95 8GB Memory with Contract.....
I have had this Nokia N95 now for nearly a year so I feel I have used it enough to write a good review of my experiences to date. I have a long standing contract with O2 and when it came up for renewal I was certain I was going to ditch the contract and go pay as you go. The main reason for this was because I was fed up for paying a monthly fee when I seem to use my mobile phone so little and this really seemed ... ...to take myself to the Nokia shop in town and see what I could get then and there. I ended up walking out of there with the lovely new phone but as I say a LONG 18 month contract for £35 a month! (which was a lot more than my previous contract). The Nokia N95 was first released with a smaller memory capacity but the model I have has the larger 8mg a size I thought perfect for storing lots of music and photos. I had to convince my other half that it ...

...remaining a fan of the Nokia N series. For many years the Nokia N series has, in my opinion, produced some of the absolute best phones on the market. Ever since I got my first N series phone I have never used anything else. So, does this one continue in that vein?

Well, I got it on 3, and the contract was 400 minutes and 200 texts for £27 a month. This is quite pricey by 3 standards. 3 used to offer the cheapest contracts back when they were ... ...The phone also uses the Nokia N-GAGE gaming system so you get amazing 3D graphics on the games. The phone comes with wi-fi, so you can browse the net to your heart's content for free if you're near a wireless network you can access. The phone supports "proper" internet, that meaning you can bring up any page you could on a normal computer. Also, in media mode the screen flips horizontally, so you can see more. GPS makes a welcome return as well. ...

...you have never used a Nokia smart phone, you may find this a bit intimidating at first as this phone has a few more buttons than your average mobile, but fear not as the main call and select keys are clearly marked and the user manual explains all the rest of them. Texting is also easy, it is done from the messaging centre where you can also send & receive: mms (multi-media messages) & e-mails (needs setting up first). Typing messages is simple, the keys aren't stiff or too small, just the right size so you won't have any problems with texting a lot. Apart from calling and texting the features I most use are the music player, Web browser, video ...

...I have owned the original Nokia N95. I have found this superior to the original because of its longer battery life and larger internal storage.
When I opened the box (phones packaging) it came with the phone (obviously), battery, battery cover, charger, USB cable, TV out cable and earphones (with a in-line remote control). Also included was the CD-ROM (containing the Nokia PC Suite) and a leaflet about the Nokia N-Gage gaming feature. The setup ... ...take good quality photo's. ...for older devices on the Nokia Mobile Search site. The 'multimedia' key, which used to be rather irrelevant and annoying is now slightly less irrelevant and less annoying. But I'm still struggling to work out why it's there. What was wrong with the traditional S60 standby screen and menu of icons and folders? There's now an additional carousel of 7 panes, Music, Videos, Gallery, Games, Contacts, Internet and Maps, each of which lists various options, ... ...Nokia Music Store, Maps, MOSH and, of course, N-Gage, I'm really hoping that the reason for this rather unattractive and painful carousel arrangement will become obvious. With enough relevant Ovi content in place, then listing everything sorted by content rather than by opening applications will make more sense, but as I said in Smartphones Show 45, I remain a little sceptical and need to be convinced further. There's an N-Gage Games icon on the ...

...i used the built in nokia maps and sat nav programs alot. A drawback to the nokia maps program is that you have to pay to have voice directions (which i found to be quite expensive), however you can still get the program to give you directions free. The huge 8gb memory is really good for storing music, photos, videos and other files. I tended to use it mainly for photos i'd taken and less for music, not that the music player was not very good it just would reduce the battery life quite considerably therefore I refrained from over using it. ...my opinion the N95 from Nokia represents a step forward in mobile telecommunication design. Being young, male, and relatively technilogically savvy, mobile phones must have a certain something to appeal to me, and I'm glad to say that this model has it in spades. My missus had the original n95 and its a really nice phone so when it was time for me to upgrade there was really no choice for me, I wanted the n95 8gb version. The phone itself is very similar to the original version but has undergone some changes, some of which are good, some of which are not so good at all. I don't want to turn this review into a comparison piece but I will say that I prefer the 8gb version over the original one. This phone has ... ...videos and photos. It also seems to work well in sunlight, something that other phones seem to struggle with. The major selling point of this handset is the built-in 8gb memory. Thats more than most ipods. I have managed to load quite alot of music on there very easily, via a usb cable (surprisingly supplied in the box), and still have a lot of room to store more music or videos and photos. The phone has two built in cameras, the main one being 5 ...

Although the phone costs, I bought it for so many reasons and the major reason is the 8GB memory space and another reason is the music that has a lot of space to fit in.

...disappointed. I have always preferred Nokia ever since I had a 3210 many years ago, and this certainly continues the trend of Nokia handsets I have been very satisfied with.

As i was going travelling around the world i wanted a mobile phone which would work in all the countries i was going to. Ive had my Nokia N95 8GB for a month now and before this I had the original Nokia N95 for a year, both on the Vodafone network.
The N95 8GB has a slightly larger screen than the N95, 4GB more memory, the ability to play NGage games and updated menu graphics, although I prefered the older graphics.
